On September 15, 1987, our doors opened for business to the people of Cody, Wyoming. I had just graduated from dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. We started the practice from scratch. We had absolutely no name recognition and no referrals. The office was originally in the Trio Building just west of Eastside School. On the first day I had two patients. They didnt seem to mind the home-built cabinets or that there were only two chairs and no staff.
The practice grew quickly, and it has been quite the ride. I owe much of the success to wonderful, hard-working, dedicated staff who have helped us over the years. Weve had some ups and downs, but overall it has been a tremendous experience. The practice provides well for my family and has provided jobs for 18 different people over the years.
We moved into our present building in 1994. It was originally built as a dental office in 1959, the year I was born. It was built by Dr. Meizner. A patient whose husband helped build the office brought me the newspaper clippings for the grand opening of Dr. Meizners dental office. Dominos Pizza was the last occupant before I purchased the building from Mac Taggart. I love the building and the grounds.
The practice has been a great blessing in my life and I think we have been able to do some good dentistry for many people. I have really enjoyed getting to know the people of Cody. There are many wonderful people here and we are a part of their history.

My daughter had an accident at school and needed to be seen immediately. I couldn't find anyone, including her own dentist, to get her in for an emergency for at least a week. Dr Taylor's and his staff saw the photo of her and got her in an hour later. They stayed open to help her and put this moms mind at ease. She is a few baby teeth short now, but on her way to healing up! Dr Taylor and his staff were so kind and caring. They helped a scared, hurt, 6 year old, understand what was happening every step. I am super grateful for them and so is she!!! Thank you!!!

Had a really wonderful experience from start to finish; from the lovely ladies at the front desk to the dental hygienist (Brittany) to Dr. Eric himself. We were informed of all our options for the various needs we had and great care was taken to make sure my 11yo son understood everything that was going to happen. Thanks for making sure my son was taken care of so well!

They are horrible with dentures, they lost my mold 5 times..5 times!!! Can't wear my teeth. And! This Lady at the front after I had 9 teeth pulled, she tells me in front of everyone all doped up, that if I don't pay you don't get your teeth.. no joke. I will and have ever ever go back.. Doctor was nice but come on!! They should have taken the lose and given me all my money back. They got paid from my insurance... I should have never ever had to pay.

This dentist is listed as a preferred provider under my husband's insurance but they refused to accept the insurance information & bill because he doesn't live in Cody WY. Initially they stated it would be billed as I sent copies of the new card. Otherwise I wouldn't have provided this dentist name for him to call. BEWARE - DO NOT USE!! It is wrong for a business to be considered part of an insurance group if they will not file with the company!!

Taylor Dental is by far the best! Great staff all around. Highly recommend for those who 'hate' going to the dentist. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed, so it takes away the stress of having to go to the dentist.
