With over 35 years of experience, over 1500 hours of continuing education, and certificates from the Misch International Implant Institute, Miami Valley Hospitals IV Sedation program, and the FORCE Orthodontic program, Dr. Vincent Johnson is no ordinary dentist. He focuses on delivering the highest standard of care, both through communication and compassion, and through his training in the latest dental technological advances. His combination of a gentle approach and highly-skilled techniques make him uniquely suited to understanding his patients needs and providing quality care. Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in Detroit, Michigan, and holds memberships in the American and Michigan Dental Associations and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. Dr. Johnson looks forward to helping all his patients showcase their best smile!

Previously working in a dental office I knew of the different procedures and pain levels, risks and steps that go along with each of them, so when I found out I was going to have to have a root canal, let's just say I was not excited. But WOW! It was nothing I expected. Dr. Johnson and his staff are amazing. The procedure was fast, pain free and so easy. This includes having to get the dreaded PALATAL INJECTION! How many people can say that they got one and had no idea?! I can! I would recommend him and his staff over and over! I cant' speak highly enough of them all.

Expect to be treated unfairly (verbally) especially if you need extensive work to be done. Very unprofessional......try elsewhere

All the workers in this office were fantastic (Ashley was outstanding) with the exception of Dr. Johnson!! His bedside manner was know-it-all, mansplaining simple concepts and issues to the point of condescension. Along with that he openly criticized my previous dental office who for years took excellent care of my entire family's teeth without ever wavering from their consistently kind, knowledgeable, and genuine care. Having referred several patients to my previous office, there's no doubt they've benefited because of their gold standard of care. Frankly, it's just bad business to openly act superior to other practices or his patients even if he's just having a bad day. Unfortunately, no matter how great the staff is, if the doctor acts inappropriate, it chips away at the reputation of the entire office. I had been warned, I didn't listen. I will travel an hour and a half back to my previous office and appreciate their AMAZING customer service that much more!!

Dr Johnson, and his staff are top notch! I actually want to visit the dentist! From the moment my appointment begins, ( always on time) until I check out with the front desk staff, (always smiling) I am treated with care, and compassion. I have been so impressed, I am now using Dr. Johnson for all my dental needs, including cosmetic. His treatment plan was well thought out, pain free, and looks AMAZING! I truly cannot say enough great things about, Tawas Bay Dental, and will continue to recommend to all my friends and family.

So pleased with the staff at Tawas Bay Dental. As a tourist from out of town, they went above and beyond in getting me into to see the dentist after suffering from a severe toothache on vacation. I can't say enough about the receptionist who was so kind and professional in listening to my concerns. I would highly recommend them to anyone living in the Tawas area. Only wish I lived closer because I would switch dentists in a heartbeat.

We are so very lucky Dr. Johnson and his staff took my husband as an emergency patient. We were in Tawas on vacation and was told he needed immediate intensive dental work. The staff were so kind and supportive to both him and to me. It could have been a horrible experience, but due to their professional yet supportive attention to us it truly was not. Everyone went above and beyond to help us both through it. Thank you to Tawas Bay Dental - I highly recommend for anyone and everyone to go to you!

I was at our cottage in Tawas on a Thursday morning when I lost a large filling.Dr Johnson took me as an emergency patient. I had called about 6 other offices and no one would even look at me. He did a very nice and painless filling. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would defiantly go back to this office.
