Dr. Kathleen Tavarez has been specializing in orthodontics since 1992. She began her higher education by studying at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) graduating with a Bachelor in Biology Degree. She continued to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in addition to a Bachelor in Dental Sciences. At theUniversity of Detroit Mercyin Michigan she graduated with a Specialty Degree and Masters in Orthodontics.

Dr. Kathleen Tavarez considers it her personal obligation to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care to her patients through ongoing education pertaining tothe cutting edge of clinical orthodontic advances and by embracing advancements in technology.She isan active member and presenter in severalorthodontic as well as multidisciplinary study groups. She maintains active memberships in multiple professional organizations.
