For years, Dr. McKinney called Woodinville, Washington home. She attended the University of Washington for her Bachelors Degree before moving on to receive her Dental Hygiene degree from Shoreline Community College in 1995. After several years as a practicing dental hygienist, Dr. McKinney decided to make a move to Las Vegas to persue her passion in dentistry. Her dental education came from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. Dr. McKinney received her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 2007, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
My love of nice weather brought me here, to beautiful Arizona, along with my husband, Dr. Dustin Putnam. I began practicing as a dentist here at Tatum Creek Family Dentistry in 2008. Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my family, and brushing up on my love of cooking.
His dental education came from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, where he received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 2007, and moved to sunny Phoenix to practice dentistry.
I really enjoy practicing dentistry and attend numerous hours of continuing education every year to stay current with the latest techniques. I also recently completed special training for Oral Appliance Therapy for the treatment of Sleep Apnea disorders.
Dr. Tuller was Born and raised in Boise, Idaho and graduated DDS (Cum Laude) from Creighton University in 1990. He enjoys spending time with his family and 5 children. His interests also include fishing, hiking, biking, scuba diving and snorkeling. Dr. Tuller loves Hawaii.

I was born and raised in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. I have recently moved to the Cave Creek area and am enjoying everything this beautiful, historical town has to offer. I had the opportunity to venture off to Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama on a volleyball scholarship. After earning my BA in Liberal Arts, I returned home and received my Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Phoenix College.
I pursued dentistry because of the relationships that are created and the unique impact we can have on our patients lives by contributing to the esthetics of their smile and to the enjoyment of their appearance.
I have resided in Arizona for over 30 years of my life. I have also experienced living in California and Colorado and I feel Arizona is hands down the best state to live in. My husband and I have been together over a quarter century and I have two beautiful adult daughters. I am an avid road cyclist, hiker, mountain biker. I enjoy sprints as well as 100+ mile rides on my bike and local hikes as well as rim to rim to rim of the Grand Canyon. I love to travel locally and abroad.
I am very active in the Dental Hygiene community and am always highly involved in continuing education to stay relevant. I find my idle moments consumed with playing Candy Crush or Words With Friends, trying out new recipes or restaurants and loving our 2 rescue dogs. I am so thrilled to be part of the team at Tatum Creek Family Dentistry. I feel very fortunate to have the potential to impact your personal health. Thank you for your trust.
Mary moved to Arizona from Grand Haven, Michigan in 2018. She graduated from Grand Rapids Community College in 2008 with an associates degree in dental hygiene. Mary brings us 12 years of experience. In addition to her associates degree, she holds a bachelors degree in elementary education from Western Michigan University.
Mary prides herself in caring for her patients in a kind and compassionate manner. She loves helping patients achieve optimal oral health. She feels dentistry is her true passion! Mary enjoys spending time her the people that mean the most to her which also includes her puppy Teddy.
I was born and raised Michigan and moved to Carefree, AZ in 2016. I have three grown children, twins in California and one in Michigan. I enjoy hiking the beautiful trails with my Bernedoodle Maizy-Blue. I look forward to working with you.

This dentistry office is absolutely the best one I have ever been to. MJ the office manager fit me in right away for my minor emergency and even called and offered an earlier appointment. She is wonderful. Dr Tuller is the best dentist I have ever been to. He truly is a master of Dentistry. He never rushes the patient and he takes his time by going above and beyond even with minor issues like food impaction which I had. Thanks again Tatum Creek Family Dentistry. You feel like family when you are there. :)

Used to be with this practice for the last 10yrs, doctors are ok. the front office staff changed, and i don't want to deal with their horrible attitude. Moved my family away from this practice.

I broke a tooth last night...called this morning and had a "patch" by 9:30am. Scheduled for the repair on Friday at 7:30am! It simply doesn't get any better than this!!!!

I moved to the area when I retired 8 years ago. I needed a dentist, so I started looking at the reviews. This office had really good reviews, plus it had a majority female staff. Maybe I'm a male chavinist, but I think women have more apathy than men. This is a important to me when it comes to health and dental care. Dr. Putnam and Dr. McKinney are top notch! I've have all of my dental care done here for the last at 8 years. Even had to call Dr. Putnam on his personal line when my temporary filling came out over Easter weekend. In the end, it turned out not to be a big deal. But, it was comforting to be able to talk to him. I won't go anywhere else.

My wife and I have been going for dental care at Tatum Creek Family Dentistry for 14 years. There is no dental facility that can compare to the treatment and care provided. Dr. McKinney is the best dentist I have ever gone to in my 73 years. Dental hygienists like Shaleen make you feel comfortable and at home while providing excellent care. I recommend highly Tatum Creek Family Dentistry. They treat you like family.

Dr. Erin McKinney is exceptional in everything she does! I consider Erin to be an extension of my family. I am endlessly grateful, and I can easily give full credit to her, when I get to leave the office with a big smile. I would also love to shoutout Shaleen, who was my hygienist this last visit - she is amazing, very thorough, and provided me with the best teeth cleaning of my life! Also, Amanda has always gone above and beyond to get me scheduled for my appointments and making the check-in and check-out experience smooth and hassle free! This family dentist is the WORST. If there was an option to give zero stars, I would. The staff, especially Callie, the older lady at the front desk, do not have any customer service skills whatsoever. She is rude and very condescending. She has been rude over the phone multiple times with me. The first time, I scheduled a cleaning appointment 6 months in advance. After 6 months came by, I had accidentally forgotten about my appointment. Usually, I get confirmation calls a day or two before any appointment I have scheduled. Callie called me that morning in a very disrespectful tone telling me that I had missed my appointment. I explained to her that I had forgotten it by accident and that I never received a confirmation call the day before. She asked me if it was actually necessary for them to call me the day before to confirm my appointment. She had also rudely reminded me that iPhones can easily set appointment reminders and that I should set that next time. I also had another appointment scheduled for today right when they open at 8:30am to get a tooth looked at and when I went in today, the staff scheduled my appointment for the wrong day. Callie, the same front desk lady, told me that the dentist actually cannot see me today but that I can sit around for an hour and half to get seen or come back tomorrow morning at 8:30am. I explained to her how I was already late to work this morning so I could make my appointment and that I cannot sit around for 1.5 hours or come back tomorrow morning, as I have a job and work 7 days a week for 8-10 hours a day for over the summer. She seemed surprised when I, a 19 year old, told her that I have a professional job where I cannot just show up late whenever I want. She told me there was nothing she could do and that I would have to leave. I left and will NOT ever go back to this dentist office. They seriously need to hire friendlier staff with customer service skills, as this family dentist is the absolute worst at speaking to customers with respect. Do NOT go here!

My family and friends have been coming here for 10 years or more. The dentists are amazing as well as the hygienist and front desk staff. We highly recommend Tatum family to everyone.

We've been patients of Dr. McKinney & Dr. Putnam for around 10 years. Two friendly and professional doctors with a great staff to back them up. I was so glad to discover their practice back then and now our whole family sees them. Great doctors with a pleasant and clean facility.
