Dr. Stimpson graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2005. He and his family have since been enjoying the Sacramento and Carmichael area perfoming the dentistry that he loves so much. He enjoys general dentistry and all the different opportunities it provides him and his family. He has enjoyed getting to know and care for the many residents of the area and assisting them in maintaining beautiful, healthy smiles. He continues to maintain the highest levels of accreditation with ongoing continuing education. This additional education has given Dr. Stmpson the expertise to expand his career into placement and restoration of dental implants as well as assisting patients with straightening and brightening their smiles with Invisalign technology. He continues to find new ways to enhance his practice and provide the best personal care possible for his patients.
Dr. Stimpson was raised in Twin Falls, Idaho where he graduated from Twin Falls High School. He attended Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho) for one year before he served as a missionary for the LDS church in Macon, Georgia. After this 2 year mission, he returned to Ricks College to obtain his Associates Degree. He then completed his Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Here he met his beautiful wife, Angela who was born and raised in Carmichael, California. Dr. Stimpson then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He and his wife are the proud parents of 4 spirited children, Alaina, Tiana, Dallin and Emilia. Dr. Stimpson keeps very busy participating in many of his childrens sporting activities through coaching or spectating. He has grown to love his life here in Sacramento and truly does not miss the Pennsylvania winters. He lives in the Arden-Arcade area and loves the neighborhood and all it has to offer. Dr. Stimpson thoroughly enjoys getting to know many people of the community and treating many of the residents of the Sacramento area.

Would not consider going to any other dentist than Dr. Stimpson, Donna at front desk is friendly, Daphne who took x-rays and cleaned my teeth today is always fun to talk with and does a great job. Highly recommend.

Always a good experience when my wife and I go for a cleaning or we find out that we need a filling. The team is warm and friendly and have a good since of humor, which makes you feel more relaxed when your in the chair.

Dr. Stimpson is an excellent dentist. Over the years, I had a few excellent dentists, but Dr stimpson tops all of them; He does excellent work, while keeping you comfortable. Also the dental assistant has to be the best I've had; she is professional, knows what she is doing, and keeps you pretty comfortable.

Dr. Stimpson and his staff deserve 10 stars. I just went to my third cleaning since Covid19. The protocols they have in place are outstanding. Temperature check. Masks. Mouthwash to kill germs before they begin your appointment. They wear gloves of course but they change them more often. They wear masks and protective eye wear and provide Eyewear for you. Very safe. Very comforting. Dr. Stimpson keeps things upbeat with fun music and a light touch. This is a great place for you dental needs. And the staff.. Outstanding!! Friendly!! Professional!! And Super Helpful, always making suggestions on dental care

I have been a client for just about 30 years. At first I remember having a crown and maybe one other procedure. Fortunately, I haven't had to do any major dental work in quite a few years. I get my teeth cleaned every 5 months and I absolutely love this dental office. I get X-rays and exams when needed. The office is very nice and clean and the staff is amazing. Dr. Stimpson is nice, professional and caring but I haven't had any major issues since I've been his patient.

I called and in looking for a dentist that was local to where I live and within my benefits network. They were the second dentistry I reached out to and proved to be so much more helpful than the first. Donna the receptionist was absolutely helpful, professional, and informative. Dr Stimpson was also great and very pleasant to be a patient of. I went in for an initial exam and ortho referral and also scheduled my next cleaning. The office is very well kept and it was very easy to fine in the dentistry plaza off of Eastern. As much as I hated leaving the hands of my prior dentist I think I've found the next best place if not better. Thanks for managing to squeeze me in at such short notice and keep up the great work.

Dr Stimpson is exceptional. He takes time to explain things and answer any questions you may have. His hygienists are all equally helpful and careful to listen to any concerns or questions you may have. Highly recommend!

Awesome Dental care for the whole family. The office is super clean and taking all precautions during Covid. I feel safe going there and bringing my kids in. The staff and always friendly and knowledgeable. We have been coming here for 6 years, although we live a little out of the area, it's worth the drive:)

I am now 68 year old and had many Dentist, Tate Stimpson is the very best I have ever had, over my long life. I worked as a Surgical Tech and a Biomedical engineer, so I have worked with Doctors most of my life. I have work with some of the best and the worse. I am confident to say he is by far one of the best in his specialty. Once I had a dental emergency on a holiday week end and he treated me like family. Coming in and literally spent hour to take care of me. Both Tate Stimson DMD and his staff are professional, friendly, caring,happy and always on time. For the remainder of my life I will be his patient. I never write reviews, at least good. One's.

I am a new patient and today was my first visit at Dr. Stimpson office. I had my teeth cleaned by a very experienced and professional hygienist. Plus Dr. Stimpson was great too! After my appointment today/all day long I couldn't help but notice how clean my teeth felt I'm thankful for experienced professionals that really care about people! I can tell that I've chosen a great practice!
