DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE They filled up my insurance and charged for services that were NEVER done and I had not even been at their office in 2019. Had I not gone to another dentist to be told that I cannot use my insurance as it has been filled by Tarzana Smile Center, I would have never known they had misused my insurance. When they got caught then they tried to justify it and call it "AN ERROR" to get away with it. Amir and this office misuse client's information, trust, insurance and the system. Keep an eye on claims against your insurance.

I was a patient at Tarzana Smile Center from 2017 through mid 2020. In that four year period, my insurance and my wife's was overbilled several times. In 2019, my wife was not even a patient at Tarzana Smile Center and we had to find out through another dental office that our dental insurance had nevertheless been maxed out by their office. I was injured in 2019 by their oral surgeon Dr. Nadia Hassan and I was diagnosed with neuropathic nerve damage for life. We hired a licensed private investigator and in the interview with one of their employees, she said the owner Amir jannatti maxes out all patient's insurance with the help of Stefanie and ex employee Niloofar sadraei by exchanging X-rays and back dating insurance information, and if any patient finds out, he just gives them a big credit for future work. Not ethical! Do not use this facility! Tarzana Smile Center needs to note and pay attention to details, without mix and matching the truth in order to mislead. One lawsuit was against the oral surgeon, Nadia Hassan for malpractice, on the other hand, I DROPPED the other lawsuit against Tarzana Smile Center and Amir for INSURANCE FRAUD. Case was going to trial and I did not want to waste another penny on this cheating, liar of a person and dental office. I have full testimony of people who worked at Tarzana Smile Center explaining all the dirty business they are doing which cannot be denied or labeled as lies.

Disappointed with this clinic. Inquired them to submit a pre estimate form through my insurance and still did not get an answer. They told me it's going to take 2-3 weeks but its been way over that period. Called them back two days ago to follow up, the representative could not answer any of my question and took a message for somebody but front desk to calls me back. Still did not get a call back. I have waited long enough, not going back.

I had an excellent experience repairing my oral hygiene and I couldn't have done it without Dr. Michelle Shahisaman and the rest of the incredible staff at Tarzana Smile Center. I had very poor dental health due to years of neglect and avoidance of the dentist, but finally decided to seek help. My case was so bad and required so much work and money, I got the feeling most dentists would rather boot me out the door rather than deal with the hassle or liability. After about a year of searching, I finally found myself in the expert hands of Dr. Shahisaman. Her treatment plan perfectly balanced urgency and carefulness and won me over by giving a way better prognosis than other consultations, without over-promising some magical solution just to make a sale, all while having by-far the lowest cost. When came the hard part of actually sitting through several visits of multiple procedures, they provided everything possible to comfort me while not rushing or judging in any way. I'm convinced there isn't a case out there worse than mine was, but only a few months after sitting in her chair for the first time, I am a changed person, and I can't thank her enough. If you're in a similar predicament, I'm confident Dr.Shahisaman can find a way to help.

Terrible service. I don't usually write bad reviews but this is a unique case. They put a crown on one of my tooth's not long time ago and yesterday we noticed that there is a cavity under the crown on my tooth. This is terrible! They were working on my tooth for more than 2 months. I got 3 temporary crowns and each failed after a few days. In one case the temporary tooth came out while I was sleeping resulted in not breathing during sleep! Furthermore, they don't have any permanent doctors, they hire temporary doctors and you may end up facing with multiple doctors during your treatment plan. In the time interval of my treatment, I had two different doctors in which one followed up the previous doctor's work since the previous doctor left the office. I have never seen such a bad And unorganized dental office anywhere. Stay far from this place. I really got disappointed by their work.
