Dr. Todd Robinson was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the University of Florida where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (2005) before completing a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (2009). He worked as a Physical Therapist for several years before pursuing his dental degree at the University of Oklahoma, where he was honored with the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society. He is privileged to be a part of the Tarheel Family Dentistry team that exhibits such professionalism, expertise, and compassion and is excited to get to know you!
Todd is married to Dr. Maggie Horn Robinson, currently an associate professor and researcher at Duke University in the Physical Therapy Department. They have two daughters, Laney and Lucy, and one dog, Skeeter. Together they enjoy exercising, playing sports, snowboarding, watching the Florida Gators, crossword puzzles, any activity involving the water, and spending time with friends and family.
Todd is dedicated to serving the dental needs of the Chapel Hill community with a conservative, patient-centered, and evidence-based approach. He is enthusiastic to be a part of such a great dental team with a reputation for gentle, high quality dentistry delivered in a compassionate and friendly environment.
Dr. Cook is a double graduate of the University of North Carolina, where she received both her Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. Prior to joining Tarheel Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, she practiced dentistry for several years in her hometown of Raleigh.
As a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Cook is passionate about providing the highest quality care to her patients. She currently holds a position as an Adjunct faculty member at the UNC School of Dentistry, completed a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and is fluent in Spanish.

If you are someone with anxiety surrounding dental procedures, I can't recommend Dr. Robinson and his team enough. They are caring and compassionate every step of the way and truly prioritize patient comfort. Dr. Robinson is an extremely knowledgeable practitioner, and always explains his recommendations clearly and thoroughly. They are a shining example of patient-centered care, and I am so happy to have found a practice that I can say I truly trust!

The staff was friendly and professional. They explained everything that they did and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Cook discussed the findings of the comprehensive evaluation and the reasons for her recommendations. Excellent communication.

Dr. Robinson is the best! I trust him completely. He explains what he's going to do before and during doing it and why he is doing it. He's very gentle and considerate of you're needs. His staff is awesome as well ! I'm so glad I found them in my network, I've been coming here for years. He's getting a new office very soon with more state of the art technology so that he can do everything even better, especially diagnosing. I'm excited about that !

Always a good experience. Patient, kind, skillful, thorough. Dr Robinson doesn't recommend unnecessary work, but is watchful and presents options when something is needed. My regular hygienist Natalia is fantastic, as was Rebekah who filled in for her today due to an unforeseen absence. I highly recommend this practice.

I highly recommend Tarheel Family Dentistry for those seeking a welcoming and accessible environment. Throughout the COVID pandemic, I experienced difficulty locating a provider that would accept new patients, as well as Delta insurance. After several months of frustration, I called Tarheel Family, and they booked me an appointment within the next few weeks. Rebekah and Dr. Robinson answered all my questions patiently and explained every procedure thoroughly. Front desk staff also made the insurance process pain-free. Don't skip on this option for dental care in Chapel Hill!
