Dr. Tarek Mogharbel graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in May 2000. He worked in DC General Hospital in Oral Surgery Department. He finished his Implant Studies in Boston University School of Dentistry in June 2004.

Dr. Christina Samra graduated from the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery. She was selected as the recipient of the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Student in Implant Dentistry Award. She was also presented with the Deans Community Service Award in recognition of many hours of contribution and service to the community.

During this past year, she has been traveling once a month to take advanced dental post graduate courses at the world renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), specializing in advanced reconstructive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, neuromuscular dental procedures and TMD/TMJ treatment. She has taken and passed her Fellowship exam with LVI and is currently the youngest Fellow of LVI. She is also working on submitting her cases to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry to achieve the prestigious and highly sought out accredited member status. Dr. Samra regularly attends the major dental conferences annually to keep abreast of the latest procedures, materials and technology that she can apply in practice.

She is proficient at all phases of complex restorative dentistry, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment, implant dentistry and all phases of general dentistry. She grew up in Vienna, Virginia and graduated from Flint Hill School. Dr. Samra graduated Cum Laude with a BS degree in Chemistry from George Washington University and currently resides in Vienna. She has a friendly and charming personality and is a great asset to our practice.

A resident of Niles, Illinois, Dr. Bahrani graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 2004. In 2005 he completed an Advanced Education General at Naval Hospital Great Lakes. From 2005 to 2008, he served as a General Dentist at Naval Hospital Lemoore California. He completed his Periodontics training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Bethesda Maryland in 2011 and concurrently earned a Masters of Science degree in Health Sciences from The George Washington University. From 2011 to 2014, he served as a Periodontist and Department Head at Naval Health Clinic Quantico. From 2014 till now, he is serving as Periodontics Staff at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Starting in 2015, Dr. Bahrani joined Mira Dental Care working as the Practices sole Periodontist.

His personal awards and accomplishments in the military include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal and Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various campaign and unit awards. His hobbies include finance, sports, spending time with his family in Virginia and visiting his friends and family in Chicago.
