Tara Rios is a general dentist in Brownsville, Texas. She graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center in 1997. Dr. Rios completed a Forensic Odontology Fellowship in 2001 where she worked with the New York City Medical Examiners Office helping identification of victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack.
Dr. Rios has a long history of civic involvement serving both as a local and state community advocate. Dr. Rios was elected to the Texas House of Representatives where she created legislation ranging from victim protection laws to biosecurity enhancement of the border region.
Dr. Ortiz-Rivera received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dentistry. Dr. Ortiz-Rivera has been practicing for over 30 years and brings a great attitude and years of knowledge to give her patients a great experience.
Dr. Waddell received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Waddell served in the U.S army providing Dental care in different parts of the world and the Unites States for over 30 years. He has been a resident of the RGV for over a decade and has continued to care for patients around the Rio Grande Valley.

This office is like a hidden treasure!! It doesn't look as classy as the Alton Gloor from the outside, but as soon as you walk in, its a different place! The ladies are super sweet Dr. and her assistant Jackie and Haidee are amazing I needed a tooth extraction and they talked to me through the procedure. They made sure I was ok. Overall great experience. Super clean and smells great. I just moved from out town and Im happy I found them.

They are perfect!!!Thank for taking care of us. Dr. was great explain everything for us in detail, giving us the best option and answered all our questions. Jackie her dental assistant was also great, friendly and helpful. Haidee in the front desk was also cooperative and helpful with great passion.
