These times we currently find ourselves swirling around in are truly extraordinary. And while I find it difficult to put words around any of it, I thought I might try, for perhaps in my experience there is a soft place for you to land or a strand of love that keeps us connected. So here it goes.
I currently find myself accepting Lifes challenge to examine and look upon what I am clinging to, what I feel I need to possess that is so valuable it needs to be protected by a fortress. Is it my bank account? Is it my house? Is it my health? Is my dental practice? Or, is it something else like my vulnerability in expressing my love to another or being accepted by another? In clinging to these things, in building fortresses around what is mine, I recognize I am missing the target Life has set before me. It is not the THINGS that are the target- it is my innermost being that is the target. It is not my beautiful house or dental practice that is the target, it is a beautiful me that is the target. It is not about how much money I have, it is about the rich me, the me that is open and available to the millions of possibilities. And as I begin to loosen my grip, I feel the freedom and expansiveness that pours in reminding me that it is in letting go where the true treasure is found.
There is an inexhaustible source of everything that is truly needed within me. It is like a personal individual sun giving life and nourishment, protection and guidance, inspiration and love. What I am now more deeply understanding through my lived experience, is the key which unlocks the door to Lifes abundance is not found by thinking and planning and clinging. It is found by getting grounded, centered, and silent enough to be in direct contact with the unlimited source within which is ready to bless me with everything I need. It welcomes me home where I can relax and trust in the cycles of life and death. In this grounded place, I can choose to trust Life by surrendering to the miracle of what is unfolding, to be present to what is revealing itself to be seen without filter, and to step forward into a whole new way of being. In doing so, I create a path for others should they choose to join me.
So today, I choose to live in abundance, at the maximum, over-flowing with love and gratitude for everything, even the extremely challenging parts. The spring is here, life is showing itself all around us in the tree buds, the bird song, the open water- LIFE IS HERE in every moment. We have each other to love and support and our inner sun to guide us. Together, we are creating a new beautiful world as the old falls away. These two experiences are not mutually exclusive, each holds the other. My invitation is to let go and to rest in the freedom that will find you in this surrender. If you accuse your patient of having 'trust issues' when they are inquiring about a procedure you are paying out of pocket for, and notice that the practitioner isn't following standard safety protocol for said procedure, you are gaslighting your patient. This woman dismissed future appointments & grew defensive when asked for evidence based information about her failure to follow proper safety procedures for a scheduled procedure I had- unbelievable! The hubris is dangerous- if you are seeking a practitioner operating solely on ego & dismissive of safety protocol their license mandates them to follow, give this place a chance. If seeking patient education, ethics, safety compliance, & basic respect as a patient for a procedure you are paying for without being manipulated that you have 'trust issues' for holding them accountable to safety standards- please seek elsewhere. It's incredible how hubris can alter the ethics of practitioners treatment of patients when money is involved. Please beware !

This is an amazing dental team! It took a while to find them but I'm so glad I did. They are incredibly committed to patient support and care. I really appreciate the calming options they offer -weighted blankets and more. And, homeopathic support after x-rays. I've had two crowns and regular cleanings and find the whole team to be terrific!! I highly recommend this practice.

Both Dr Kaur & Dr Peterson are knowledgeable and willing to spend time explaining procedures and their recommendations. Emphasis on holistic health is much appreciated. Office staff are helpful & friendly. On Valentine's Day, they gave out single roses. Mine lasted a long time and was such a sweet reminder that Kaur's dental office is much more than other dental offices.

I have only been going to see them for six months and there is a clear separation from other dentist offices. More holistic, more guided by overall wellness, and showed techniques for self care and education that I never received at other dentists. Would highly recommend them and their processes!

I was looking for a dentist that was more holistic health minded for our kids, and loved my experience so much that I switched over too! The staff is so incredibly patient and kind, and so welcoming from the minute you walk in the door. Visiting the dentist can evoke some anxious emotions, but this office is such a peaceful atmosphere, and they do great work. I really trust that they have my health (and my kids') in mind when recommending treatments, and that they are researching the latest in health from a whole body perspective.

I love these guys!!! Simple, fast, thorough...they explained everything clearly, were so gentle, and I was in and out with my fillings done in no time. So glad I found them a couple months ago. They have taken time to explain things thoroughly, consider the root causes and issues and looked at things holistically. I'll keep coming back and telling all my friends. I have had an extremely positive experience with every dental visit. The atmosphere is calm and beautiful and great care is taken to make sure patients feel absolutely comfortable and relaxed. What a wonderful experience is Doctor Kaur's! You walk into the most lovely, welcoming space and are greeted by a friendly receptionist. But that is just the beginning - the healing care the entire staff provides with their knowledge, their ability to explain everything so thoroughly and easy to understand, their gentle touch and concern for your comfort is outstanding. The exam area is peaceful with natural light, artwork and state of the art equipment. It allowed me to feel relaxed and in good hands. As for Doctor Kaur, the word exceptional says it all!
