Dr. Tara Griffin heads up a team that genuinely cares about you by sincerely listening to your concerns, providing the utmost comfort and care, and giving you the attention, information and expertise you deserve.
Originally from Greenville, SC, Dr. Tara Griffin has been serving families with general and cosmetic dental services since 1998. She is nationally and regionally board certified with licenses in both South Carolina and North Carolina. A graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, Dr. Griffin was a recipient of the UNC Pediatric Dentistry Award.
Dr. Griffin is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Coastal District Dental Society of the South Carolina Dental Association. She also remains committed to enhancing her education and expanding her expertise through participation in the Carolina Dental Forum (a division of Seattle Dental Study Club) and the South Carolina Dental Implant Association.
Longing to live and practice in the Lowcountry, Dr. Griffin moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1999 where she opened her family practice which focuses on her philosophy of providing gentle general, cosmetic and children's dentistry in a comfortable, caring environment.
Having a heart for people and their smiles is what makes Lisa an incredible dental hygienist. Lisa adds, 'I have the privilege of working with people every day, helping them improve the health and beauty of their smiles.' Coupled with a kind heart, Lisa is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, keeping each patient well informed and making them feel right at home during their visit. Lisa is originally from Charlotte, NC and graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from UNC Chapel Hill. When she isn 't cheering for the Heels, she enjoys traveling, trips to the beach and spending quality time with her family and friends.
With over 18 years of dental experience, Carrie really understands how to make patients feel at ease and help them realize that dental care can be a pain free and a relaxing experience. Since she joined Dr. Griffin 's team, Carrie truly enjoys working in an office where each patient 's experience is the top priority. She adds, 'I want each patient to leave our office knowing that they received exceptional service and quality care, all with a gentle touch!' Away from the office, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family and friends whether relaxing at the beach or cheering on the Ohio State football team. Go Buckeyes!!
Tracy is one of our gentle hygienists from Rock Hill, SC. She has been in the dental field for over 20+ years. She has been practicing as a dental hygienist for over 12 years. She enjoys educating her patients on dental health and ways to improve their smile. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys experiencing the culinary heritage of Charleston with friends and family.
