Dr. Tanya Vlacancich is proud to provide high quality dental care to our patients in College Point, New York, and the surrounding areas. A graduate of New York University, she is a member of the American Dental Society and Queens County Dental Society as well as the New York State Dental Association. She is known by her peers and her patients as being extremely friendly and knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her work.
Her vision of dentistry is centered upon providing comprehensive care that meets all of a patients oral health needs. Growing up in College Point, she pursued her dreams by opening a family dental practice in the town she loves. Dr. Vlacancich speaks Italian fluently, which is a great asset for her many Italian patients. She has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses to stay abreast of the very latest dentistry advances, and her office is state-of-the-art with a personal family touch.
Dr. Vlacancich has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. She lives with her husband, an endodontist, and three wonderful sons in the community she serves. Proud to engage in community service, she partakes in many volunteer activities in local schools and in her neighborhood.
Bianca was born and raised in the Bronx. She graduated from New York College of Technology in 2014. Bianca has been with us since 2016 and is a talented clinician who takes great pride in her patients.
Pamela received her degree in dental hygiene from New York City of Technology, Brooklyn, New York, in 2006. Pamela has been with us since 2017. She enjoys helping her patients feel relaxed and providing them with important preventive care information. She also carries a certification in the administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
Maura has been with our team since our office opened in 1997 and was previously a licensed optician. She ensures that our office flows smoothly, managing complex cases and handling insurances and payments. Maura enjoys working with such a wonderful team, welcoming back old patients and getting to know new ones. She lives and breathes for this office and for her daughter, Dr. Vlacancich.
Tiana is the friendly voice behind the phones, but you might find her assisting the doctor or helping out with X-rays on occasion. Tiana earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College and has been part of our team off and on for over 12 years. She has great experience as a dental assistant, as well as in the administrative side of the practice, and always does her best to ensure that our patients are well cared for. As a wife and mother of three, she finds comfort in chaos and in juggling the daily tasks of our office to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. Tiana enjoys that she not only works with family, but that the rest of our team and our patients are so amazing that they feel like family.
Dawn has been with our team since 2000, assisting Dr. Tanya in the operatories and helping to make our patients time with us as pleasant as possible. Dawn is always ready to hold the hand of a nervous patient and make sure that they feel comfortable. She loves being part of a practice that is family oriented. Dawn grew up in College Point and still lives in the area with her husband, daughter and son. She is an animal lover and has an adorable dog and a rescue kitty.

I recommend Dr. Tanya she has been a good dentist that I needed. Her staff are very professional and friendly which you need for dental appointments. Dr Tanya is a dentist thats cares about her patients I should known, I had questions and concerns I would email her she gets back to me. The following day she check up on me to make sure I was good and if I any other concerns. Dr Tanya and her staff makes you feel comfortable right at home

I have been with Dr Tanya for about 2 years now. I just recently had to have three of my lower crowns replaced due to they were about 15 years old and my gumline was receding due to grinding. Let me just say it was perfection on the first try they were all permanently cemented in adjusted properly and my bite is amazing. I was also fitted for a night guard customized and let me say I have had my guards in the past the one to Dr. Tanya made for me is without a doubt 100% amazing it's custom fit for my lower teeth it's snaps in and does not move I actually had a very good nights sleep without my jaw hurting the next day even with grinding. this is the first night guard they actually had customize for my teeth that I was actually amazed with how it feels how comfortable it is and what a difference it made on the first night I can only look forward to many good nights of sleep and my jaw not hurting anymore. During this time my wife was in a severe amount of pain with one of her tooth I called Dr. Tanya's office she told my wife to come in first thing on an emergency case and she wind up needing an emergency root canal and from being in a severe amount of pain after she left the office by the next day there was no more pain in the tooth. what it comes down to with Dr. Tanya whether it's a simple as a cavity or you need a root canal and whatever your dental needs are for a very very very highly recommend her office in college point the care that you get is amazing you are made to be put at ease and you will never be disappointed Dr. Tanya and her staff all the best in the business and I highly recommend going to her office for your dental needs

I love Dr.Tanya when I first came in I felt so welcome by all the staff. Dr.Tanya made me feel comfortable and at home through the cleaning, the fillings and my wisdom tooth removal. She gives great advice and shows that she truly loves and cares for her patients. I plan to be a patient for many years to come,10/10 I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great dentist who is knowledgeable. Dr.Tanya and her staff are one big lovely family!

I had scheduled an appointment with Dr. Vlacancich while my usual dentist was on vacation, and the office made time to see me very quickly. I was able to fill out my paperwork online, making the process extremely easy when I arrived at the office. Dr. Vlacancich and her staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and talked me through every step, even fitting me in for a cleaning after my issue was resolved. I can't say enough good things. There was not a single bit of pain, and I will definitely be returning for my next cleaning as well as recommending Dr. Vlacancich to my friends and family.

I haven't gone to the dentist for years due the harsh cleanings I received in the past. I decided to try a new practice and was very pleased with the results. I booked my appointment within the week of which I called which was great due to my tight schedule. I saw Pamela and she was great and my teeth look amazing. She was very enthusiastic about her job and provided lots of knowledge in brushing tips and home care maintenance. After my cleaning was done I saw Dr. Vlacancich and she caught a tooth cavity which has been bothering me for a while. The staff was very informative and gentle. I recommend this place and will be going here for all future cleanings.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tanys's for the past 15 years. She is the best dentist I have ever gone to. She is kind, considerate and caring. From cleaning your teeth, to filling a tooth, to pulling a tooth or making a denture she gives her complete attention and makes sure you are comfortable and informed of what she is doing. She cares about her patients. She cares not only for your teeth but for the whole person. I am a nervous patient but she always puts me at ease. She listens to my concerns and addresses each of them. I would recommend Dr. Tanya to everyone. You won't meet a nicer person or a better dentist anywhere. I have to give a shout out to her staff too. They are just as kind and caring as Dr. Tanya herself.

I've been coming here my whole life and I would never change my dentist! Unfortunately, there was a period where I changed jobs and my insurance was not accepted here. I always looked forward to finally getting a dental plan so I can come back to an honest, warm, loving dentist!! Dr. Tanya has made going to the dentist a pleasant experience. She's so upbeat and she's soo funny!! You can trust what she says, she isn't just trying to scam patients out of unnecessary treatments. Along with Dr. Tanya, her staff is absolutely wonderful. It really is like a family when I visit. I recommend her to everyone I know. This office is worth traveling too!!

I've had a few dentists in my life and Dr. Vlacancich is truly second to none. It's really hard to find a great, knowledgeable dentist you can trust but she is the one! I discovered her when I first moved to College Point and even though I live in Jersey City now and work in Brooklyn, I still make the trip to see her because I know there's no one better. I've been seeing her since I moved to Queens in 2011. The entire staff is super friendly and helpful. The office also offers ClearCorrect, which is an option I'm considering for my teeth. Dr. Vlacancich is the total package.

Excellent first time experience. Friendly and clean environment. Had to get my yearly exam for the military done. The dentist made a few suggestions but wasn't pushy and I was able to get my teeth cleaned right after we went over my dental exam.
