Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. My wife and I have been going to Tangerine Dental for a few years now. Up until yesterday we have only needed the every 6 month exam/x-rays/cleaning. Yesterday was my first need for something more technical, a crown. Dr. Ashraf did the procedure. They offered me few options. I decided on the one day, in house fabricated ceramic crown. Great experience. Dr. Ashraf is definitely a people person and talked me through the entire process as we went along. There is some waiting while the ceramic crown in fabricated but there is a computer screen that had a movie playing adjacent to the patient chair. Overall, a great experience .....for a dentist visit! Highly recommend.

Terrible and inconsiderate customer service. My wife showed up on Friday, 11/04/2022 at 1:00 PM for an appointment for two of our kids to be seen at this clinic. This appointment was booked one month before and was confirmed 3 times last of which was Tue on Nov. 1, 2022. In spite of that, the guy at the front desk told her there is no appointment booked for my daughter on that day. When I called today 11/07 to complain to a manager, the customer service guy denied me access to him/her, and showed the same attitude of indifference and inconsideration.

This dentist office consistently causes me severe anxiety. Nothing is as it seems and all lines of communication seem to not communicate. This has caused me so much emotional stress working with this company. I'm sure Cigna and others such as dentaquest, etc. Will care about my story.

Tangerine Dental tells you they can't work any further on your teeth without a $$ deep cleaning. I've heard of other dental places claiming the same thing, and I've talked to other dentists who don't belive in that practice. Why not sign a waiver in that case?

I am so glad that I had a horrible experience at Studio Dental so that I could find my way to Tangerine Dental Group! Prior to being a patient at Studio Dental, I was with another dentist (who retired) that had warned me of some areas to watch where my gums needed attention. While I was a patient at Studio Dental, not once was I ever told there was a problem. When I went to Tangerine, I was shown pictures of the few areas (the same ones identified by first dentist) that would need to be cared for. I appreciate their attention to my dental needs and I also loved the way they did not try to sell me care that I did not need now, but could wait on. The cleaning I received was probably one of the best ones I have gotten in years and the staff there is wonderful. And they also room you with medical assistants prior to your appointment (taking your vitals) which is something no other dental office has ever done so they care about more than just your teeth! I was so very pleased with my visit and so happy to have found a great dental group!

Tangerine dental provides a great service of cleaning teeth for our family. However, staff are always busy and not responsive to other inquiries which makes me very frustrated often. It seems they are less staffed than they need. They have too many customers than they can actually manage and afford...

They said they would provide a "free" estimate to have a tooth pulled and implant put in. I had already had a dentist evaluate the tooth and take X-rays and I brought in copies of the X-rays. What I found out later was they billed my insurance $748.00 to evaluate and take additional X-rays. When they say free it doesn't really mean "free", they still bill your insurance company. Be very careful with these people!!

Awesome experience! I had a root canal and crown at the same day. The process was very organized, and in less than 4 hours, l had my root canal and crown done! It was an amazing experience. The staff and Dr Ashraf were very kind, professional and they listened to my concerns and accommodated everything in the best possible way. I am very satisfied and recommending this center to everyone. Thanks

Very disappointing. Two separate experiences with my 84 year old father where they didn't fix the problem but just tried to sell him a bunch of stuff he doesn't want or need. Go somewhere else.

I would recommend Tangerine Dental if you are seeking a dentist. I have root canal and caps. The expertise of Dr. Ashraf and Dr. Stirling is amazing. Painless procedures, they explain what is being done and are so personable.

I went there today and I was told 2 implants I need after they remove 2 teeth and add bone graf all for $16k, my insurance covered $6k. Oh and I went in for an abscess, HUGE LUMP and they gave me antibiotics and ibuprofen, when I called back and said what about something for pain(I take vicodin already for my torn acl and arthritis, I WAS HONEST) & I can't even get tramadol or ketorolac for the pain and inflammation BUT they want me to spend $10k!!!! I am so upset, oh and she said to use ice, I said seriously and THE DENTIST said seriously you take enough pain meds, NICE! My honesty of a completely different issue that my regular Physician is aware of and monitors and told me to go see my Dentist. Definitely getting 2nd and 3rd opinion, their pricing is outrageous and last time I went for a deep cleaning they charged me wrong after I already paid and they gave the credit back on my brand new credit card instead of how I paid with my debit card(which was about $200 in cash). I'm pretty sure I was still overcharged, you trust them to check with your insurance company and know that and how do you know because of course every dentist charges different prices! Very disappointed with the Dentist today, she could of went out of her way to make sure when I came home and during the evenings I'm not in excessive pain, they go to school for this and our trained, my sister who's a dental hygienist, in Albuquerque, said there are so many different medicines they can prescribe, shame on her. Well, definitely checking with other Dentist, this does not sit well with me, what happens when I drop $10k you gonna send me home with ibuprofen??? Very disappointed and they are very expensive.

If I could give this office a zero, I would! They spent almost the entire appointment pushing me to pay $1,100 for a same-day crown as well as a $600 deep cleaning they said I needed immediately. When I opted for the $475 crown and a regular cleaning, I was treated like dirt. Felt like I was at a used car lot. Never again!! Money is the name of the game with them.

I have fibromyalgia that's exacerbated by Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Disorder, and suspected that the antibacterial product used to clean their water systems was flaring me up (at the very least it tastes terrible to me, which is usually a bad sign.) When I went yesterday they told me *they'd flushed the system several times in anticipation of my appointment*, and when I could still taste it, *they did it again.* In the past I've been treated by medical personnel like I'm crazy, a hypochondriac, an annoying inconvenience, etc., but at this office I've *always* been treated with respect. I've been a happy patient of theirs for years.
