As an avid skier, you will find me either on Mt Hood, or Mt. Bachelor with my husband most weekends once the snow flies. We have 2 beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs that pretty much rule the house. They think they are lap dogs in spite of weighing 84, and 95 lbs. respectively. I have a nice collection of bonsai trees, so in the non-winter months I am frequently out on the patio, or in the garden.
As a second-generation dentist, I know how important it is to place patients first. I place a very high value on continuing dental education so I can stay current with the best possible techniques and treatment philosophies as I care for my patients.
My father practiced dentistry for over 62 years and was an early adopter and leader in improved infection control procedures and techniques. I have been utilizing single-use, protective barriers on frequently touched surfaces for many, many years. What many thought was over-kill years ago, has now become the standard of care, and more important than ever in my office. This additional effort to prevent the spread of disease is critical not only to my patients, but also to my staff. We have added aerosol reduction equipment and continue to seek out the best possible practices to keep everyone safe and healthy. With current concerns regarding COVID-19, our efforts to significantly reduce the risk of cross contamination between patients and staff is critical.
We know that continuing your regular care is critical to your health and we want your experience to be safe and positive. Implementing daily preventative techniques such as effective homecare and good nutrition can reduce the likelihood of needing extensive dental procedures. Our providers and staff are always available to help with any concerns you may have regarding the health of your mouth.
I am fortunate to have a staff that has been with the practice for many years, so many of you will be pleased to find the same smiling faces you have come to know. I look forward to meeting those of you I havent met yet.

Tanasbourne Dental Care is the friendliest dental clinic I have been too! Everyone is so helpful every step of the way, from front desk to dental hygienists, dental assistants and Dr. Trotman herself. It had been a few years since my last dental cleaning & I was anxious, but everyone was supportive and did not shame me at all. They made sure I was comfortable and even provided me with a blanket to keep warm during my appointment! Scheduling was easy, I was placed on a short call list and was able to get in same day as they had a schedule change. I recieved new patient paperwork via a text message link and got appointment appointment reminders via text as well which was so convenient. The front desk staff was very helpful, very knowledgable and kind. The back office staff is so friendly and efficient. My appointment ran smoothly and in a timely fashion. Dr. Trotman is very experienced and does great work. She treats every patient and their dental concerns with the upmost care. It is clear everyone here cares about their patients from the moment you call, to when you walk out the door. I will definitely be scheduling the rest of my family here. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great dentist and reliable top notch dental care in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area!

Dr. Troutman is amazing! I had a somewhat complicated situation and she was professional, kind, and efficient--everything wanted in a dentist. And she also has a good sense of humor! I highly recommend her!

Friendly and capable staff. We have been going for more then 10 years and always had excellent service and wonderful staff. Dr. Troutman is wonderful and cares about each of her patients. My kids enjoy going here too.
