Dr Broome did molar root canal on 6/27/22 and was the most horrible dental experience in my 70 years. Everything seemed to be going ok but after 1 hour I started feeling sharp electrifying pain as he worked on the tooth. I've had several other root canals over the years and never like this. He kept saying we were almost done and he was "packing" the canal. However, every time he pushed the packing it was causing exceptional pain and I soon developed a pulsating headache. I realized later I must have been in mild shock t while allowing him to work with the indescribable pain I felt. He continued "we're almost done"..."we're almost done" until finally he announced we were done. When I was checking out the time confirmed he took 1 1/2 hours and the anesthesia had mostly worn off!! I had to pull over on the way to the pharmacy and throw up the pain was so intense. By the time I made it to the pharmacy I was going crazy and my head felt like it was going to explode.They rushed the pain meds and I took them immediately. Dr Broome said his office would call me that evening...and no call. I called his office the next and asked that the Dr please call me. No return call. I emailed them and no call. Before returning to my dentist a few days later a piece of the existing crown came out while flossing. Therefore I now need a new crown. In summary, What I don't understand is 1) why Dr. Broome failed to give me more anesthesia when the pain had become so horribly unbearable 2) Why didn't he concentrate on completing my root canal in a timely fashion instead of bouncing around to other patients who were not having such critical work 3) why didn't he return my calls and why didn't anyone call as they said they would? I sensed he was having difficulty during the procedure and even asked him during if it was going ok and he said that wit h 10 being the most difficult this was 8. I strongly believe it was 10 and he botched drilling to the canal and damaging the crown. Hopefully he left enough tooth to support the crown. I'm grateful I didn't have an accident after leaving his office on the way to the pharmacy. I do feel this was completely avoidable and that Dr. Broome lacked good professional judgement. I also wonder if he would have acted different if I was his Father, Son or another loved one.

I had an emergency tooth ache and they got me in far earlier than any others i previously called. The staff was very polite and pleasant. The doctor was excellent and the cost was very reasonable. I am glad i found this place!

Had to get 2 root canals done , the staff was amazing and motivating as well as the Dr. They were reassuring during the entire process. Very gentle when giving injections, and asked if I needed a break frequently during the actual procedure. A different Dr didn't want to do the work for me, and I'm sure glad I sought out the experts opinion at tampa bay Endodontics.

I was very impressed with the staff and Dr. Broome and his assistant, Debbie. They were very professional and if I ever need another root canal, that is where I will go.

Dr. Broome patiently answered my questions. He was professional and effective. After my procedure, the staff were so accommodating of a family emergency that they worked on the weekend to remove my stitches so I could fly home in time to see my father in the hospital. If I need an endodontist again, I will be returning.

If you have to have a root canal, this is where you want to go. Dr. Broome is amazing!! It may sound crazy, but my experience was very pleasant and painless! Everyone there is so caring and concerned about your comfort! Highly recommend!!!

I've been here twice for root canal's and Dr. Broome was wonderful. He is very reassuring, explains everything, and he is extremely patient and gentle. His staff is very friendly as well. Called to check up on me the same day I had my root canal.

Dr Broome has done many root canals for my entire family and is not only the best at his craft but he stepped up for my mom in an emergency after hours. My father had passed away and my mom lost her tooth unexpectedly the same day. My mom is an elegant woman with much pride and with the funeral only days away, he along with the dentist were able to fix her, handle her pain and help her to feel presentable on her most difficult day. I can never say thank you enough.

This office hands down is wonderful! I was just there with my son for a root canal today. I searched and sifted through countless dental offices for days trying to find who could take us in the fastest for service and had affordable rates. John and Debbie at the front desk were extremely helpful getting me an appointment ASAP. Dr. Craig Duerson and his assistants gave us quality care. They were extremely helpful with information, timely, and so professional. Just a great team all around! I drove almost 50 miles to their office as even some specialists in my own area were either giving an appointment further out or charging higher rates. Even with the commute I would absolutely only take my son here again in the future If needed. They truly got us in and out right away and were such a pleasure from the moment I spoke to John in the front office to the moment Dr. Duerson saved my son's tooth. Thank you to everyone so much. We are so grateful for your excellent team and services! I would recommend to anyone.

Was referred here for my first root canal and it could not have been a smoother experience! I have pretty bad dental anxiety but Holly was so kind and reassuring, and talked me through the process. Definitely recommend
