At Tamarack Hills Family Dentistry, we strive to bring the latest advancements in the dental field to you and your family. I, along with my team, take continuing education courses and attend numerous trainings a year that give us the skills to provide you with the treatments that make your time with us faster, safer, and many times, more affordable.I have completed advanced training at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and have taken postgraduate studies in Esthetic and contemporary Dentistry at the University of Minnesota. Apart from the Cosmetic Dentistry courses, I have completed advanced Implant training and Bone grafting surgeries. I have achieved Fellowship and Diplomate/Mastership status with the International Dental Implant Association and fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry.
I am also an active member of the the Academy of General Dentistry , the Practice-Based Research Network, ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologist), IDIA (International Dental Implant Association), AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry), and a member in the 3m focus panel group as well. These classes and organizations help me provide a high-quality Woodbury dental home for you and your family.
As a graduate of Lakeland Medical-Dental Academy with a degree in Dental Assisting, Justine is passionate about her career and has endless enthusiasm for all areas of dentistry. She holds over 18 years of dental experience as a Licensed Assistant, Treatment Coordinator and has extensive training in the specialty of Orthodontics. Justine strives to make each patients visit a great one! As a resident of Woodbury she and her family spend much of their time active in the community. In her free time she enjoys spending it with her friends & family, fishing, traveling and playing Adult CoRec kickball at Bielenberg. She is also training for her black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Graduated with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Assisting and found a new passion and furthered her career in Dental Hygiene graduating in 2016. Her greatest passion in hygiene is personally getting to know her patients. She loves visiting historical homes and sites around Minnesota, walking at Fort Snelling and Minnehaha Falls in the Summertime, going to the Guthrie Theatre, watching movies and spending time with her family especially the family dog Levi who has an adventurous life swimming, canoeing, and paddle boarding!
Angel is from St Paul, she is currently enrolled at Century College studying for her degree in Applied Science for Medical Administrative Assistant at Century College. She has worked in the healthcare field since 2005 and has 6 years of Dental Scheduling. In her free time she enjoying doing volunteer work and hanging with family and friends.

We had an exceptional experience at Tamarack Hills Family Dentistry. Dr. Avi Matha is very professional and an expert in his field! His staff is professional, friendly and very helpful. The process was explained in great detail so there were no surprises. My wife's dental implants met all of our expectations. We will continue to visit Tamarack Hills Family Dentistry in the future and highly recommend their services to others.

Dr. Avi did a great job. He explained the whole process ahead of time so there were no surprises. His team was very professional and knowledgeable. My procedure turned out better than expected and would recommend him if you need dental implants. There was no pain and during the operation day, he seemingly shuts down the office so the whole staff is available just for you without distraction.

Had 3 unpleasant experiences, so will now switch. The first time, they scheduled me for an appointment when the office was closed. The doctor kept pushing Invisalign, although I was using SmileDirect. Today, they let me wait 1h 15mins for fillings, no update on what is happening, I ultimately decided to leave.

We used Tamarrack Hills dentistry for my mom's implant & dentures work after screening a couple dental surgeons in and around woodbury. My mom is 75 yrs old and had been increasingly having difficulties with chewing and swallowing. Dental work can be a scary experience for elderly people. As my family prepared her for these dental surgeries for getting dental inplants, she was warmly welcomed and made comfortable by Dr Matha and his staff. Right from her first visit she was treated as a family and staff took extra care to give her breaks during multiple long procedures getting her implants in place for dentures. Her smile is back and she is eating what she enjoys the most. We are glad that we chose this place and we thank the entire team of Tamarack Hills Dentistry.

I had a root canal Is followed by two crowns. My new teeth look beautiful and feel wonderful. Dr Matha has skills. For right now I hope I never see him again but if I have another issue with my teeth I hope to see him again right away.

Dr. Avi Matha is part of the fellow of academy of general dentistry an EXTENSIVE dedicated commitment which goes beyond the requirements of a dentist. All this knowledge offers a higher caliber of service of course. A small percentage of 3% of dentists complete this. So YES! I choose Dr. Matha because of his capabilities and calming presence whenever me or my family needs dental work. We leave smiling because we trust not only his work but his treatment plans. Other Dentist have complimented the superiority of his work because it's flawless and difficult to detect. He doesn't rush. He doesn't interrupt. HE LISTENS. Sometimes too much emphasis in today's world is placed on the LOOK of the office instead of quality of care. Look online and you can see the emaculate office! But for me it begins with the Dentist and I've always been happy with Dr. Matha!

I had a teeth cleaning there and Laura was amazing!! I actually enjoyed my cleaning and Dr. Matha is always very great. Remembers me and always takes care of my issues. I appreciate all of the kindness and great work this office does. Won't go anywhere else. Thanks for being great!!

Dr. Matha is the most genuine, sincere and compassionate dentists. And he's affordable. I don't have dental insurance and he was kind enough to not bill me for a consultation (most other dentists would do this). He's done great work for me in the past. I drive from Hudson, WI see him and he's worth it.

edit: I've been consistently wondering where else I should have gone for a few reasons. I'm still going here because of the service I payed for out of pocket but even with the 20% included to finish my estimated 20k rest of work, I'm personally not inclined to continue. The staff is kind, but it's the small important things pertaining their service provisions that have me regretting being here. This post pertains to Invisalign, review again pending updates.

My son chipped his tooth playing basketball and we got in right away! The doctor is friendly, informative and down to earth. The office is beautiful with all of the latest technology. The schedulers and manager were a huge help with my insurance and definitely make you feel welcome. Thanks again!
