Tamara Berg originally from Austin, Texas received her dental degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1995. She graduated from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is married to Lowell and the mother of two boys Karsten and Clayton. Karsten is ia graduate of Southern Nazarene University with a degree in Exercise Science and Clayton attends Yukon High School.
Dr. Berg was recently named the 2020 Oklahoma Dental Assocation 'Dan E Brannin' Professionalism and Ethics Award Winner. Dr. Berg was also elected to be a delegate to the American Dental Association representing the state of Oklahoma. She was named the 2019 Distinguished Dental Service Award (formerly called Dentist of the Year) a top honor from the Oklahoma Dental Association. Dr Bergis currently serving on the Membership Council of the American Dental Assocition. She served as the 2018President of the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD).She is the Immediate Past Chair of the Oklahoma Chapter of the American College of Dentists. She was recognized as the 2014 University ofOklahoma Dentist Alumni of the Year. Dr. Berg is a Past President ofthe Oklahoma Dental Association (ODA).While servingas President of the ODAin 2010-2011, sheserved as Chair of the 2nd Oklahoma Mission of Mercy at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. During February 2011, she lead the two day free dental clinic through the efforts of many volunteers 2201 patients were treated. She also served as co-chair for the first Mission of Mercy project in Oklahoma held in Tulsa 2010.For her work with the inaugural Mission of Mercy Dr. Berg received the President 's Leadership Award in April 2010.Dr. Berg served previously asan alternate delegate from the state of Oklahoma to the American Dental Association meeting. Dr. Berg served as chair to the Governmental Affairs committee at the ODA in 2012-2014. Shealso servedon the Oklahoma Dental Foundation Board in 2012-2014. Dr. Berg also has served on the Oklahoma County Dental Society Board serving as President in 2003-2004 and has served many years as a delegate at the state ODA meetings.Dr. Berg is a past president of the Oklahoma Association of Women Dentistsand is very active in the Oklahoma female dentists group. Dr. Berghas served on the Smiles for Success Foundation Board, helping women receive new smiles after completing welfare to work courses. Sheserved multiple years as aboard member for the J.D. Robertson Foundation and served a five year termon the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry Admissions Committee.She was awarded the 2014 Richard T. Oliver Legislative Award by the Oklahoma Dental Association. She was also named the Robert K. Wynne Public Information Award Winner in 2012, Young Dentist of the Year in 2000 and received the Thomas Jefferson Community Service Award in 2003 for her work with the Smiles for Success Foundation in Oklahoma which she co-founded. She was inducted into the American College of Dentists in 2007, the Pierre Fauchard Academy in April 2011 and the International College of Dentists in October 2011.
Heatheris a 1994 graduate of the University of Arkansas Dental Hygiene Program. Heather enjoys riding horses and competes in the American Quarter Horse Association. She lives inBanner, Oklahomawith husband Mike and daughters Tatum and Piper. Heather will be available for patients on Monday, Tuesday,and Wednesday.
Jeannetteis a 2004 graduatefrom theUniversity of OklahomaDentalHygiene Program.She lives in Edmond with her husband Charles, daughter Destiny and her dog Bella. She loves to bake and doing crafts. Jeannette will be seeing patients in our office on Mondays through Thursdays.
Sheriis a Certified Dental Assistant graduate from Metro Technology Centers Dental Assisting Program. Sheri likes to spend her free time with husband Scott and herboys Benjamin and Chandler. She will be assisting Dr. Berg chairside.

I needed a new bridge put in for one of my molars. This was done. Both short-term and long-term afterwards, I could not feel the bridge in place, which of course is what great dentistry is all about. If I think about it, the area feels very solid during chewing. Pleased with result.

I find it quite bothersome when told by Dr. Berg " if you have a problem let me know" my husband did while she was drilling for a filling .... And she continued working on him.... Really you say if you feel something and you EGNORE HIM ... UNACCEPTABLE, this was the straw that broke the camels back! We pay YOU , I was scolded by you, because I drink from a straw ! AND WHAT I DRINK not going to pay you for this kind of treatment Listen to your patients and stop being so condescending.

Today was my first visit with Dr Berg and her staff. Moved here from Denver where I had the same dentist for over 10 years. First had a referral to a dental group in OKC with multiple dentists and it just wasn't the right atmosphere for me! Called Dr. Berg's office and Pam squeezed me in because the other dentist in OKC said I needed a crown. This is turning into a book, so long story short, loved Dr. Berg and all her staff. Dr. Berg recommended following me for a bit instead of jumping to a crown... yay! And so I'll go back for my new patient appt next week!

I was referred to Dr Berg several years ago when The dentist I had could not see me for 2 weeks for a broken tooth. I called her office and was immediately told to come in and they would see me. I was treated as if I had been a lifelong patient. So, it would go without saying, I am still a patient; and will as long as she stays in business. Update 5-2021: Still a remarkable professional medical facility Heather was very polite and quite a conversationalist. She made it seem as though I was only there just a few minutes. Again, I'm very satisfied with Dr Berg and her staff.

I started going to Dr. Berg after 25+ years with another dentist who retired. I was really dreading this change. I have been in Dr. Berg's office twice now and actually feel more comfortable there than I did the former dentist which I would never have believed possible!! Everyone in this office makes you feel like you just entered the home of a friend. They do everything possible to make you comfortable and calm your nerves! Thank you Dr. Berg and staff!
