Dr. Samuel H. Taller has practiced dentistry in Riverdale for over 30years. He was raised in Riverdale and graduated MS141 and the Bronx HS of Science. He obtained his BA from the University of Rochester and obtained a Masters in Human Anatomy from Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry. Dr. Taller earned his Dental degree from Rutgers NJ Dental School graduating at the top of his class. He earned numerous awards including the FAGD (Faculty Academy General Dentistry) Award. He is a member of the Medical Reserve Corp for NYC, and he has volunteered in dental clinics in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, the Missions of Mercy Dental Clinic in NY and DVI Childrens Dental Clinic in Jerusalem. He is Treasurer of the Uptown Dental Study Club, a Rutgers Dental Alumni Representative, and was awarded the FAGD from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Barry Taller and Dr. Samuel published their most recent research in The Journal of Laser Dentistry titled: The Effect of 808-nm GaAIAs Diode Laser Treatment on Periodontal Pockets and Gingival Health During Routine Prophylaxis.
