Dr. Samuel H. Taller has practiced dentistry in Riverdale for over 30years. He was raised in Riverdale and graduated MS141 and the Bronx HS of Science. He obtained his BA from the University of Rochester and obtained a Masters in Human Anatomy from Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry. Dr. Taller earned his Dental degree from Rutgers NJ Dental School graduating at the top of his class. He earned numerous awards including the FAGD (Faculty Academy General Dentistry) Award. He is a member of the Medical Reserve Corp for NYC, and he has volunteered in dental clinics in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, the Missions of Mercy Dental Clinic in NY and DVI Childrens Dental Clinic in Jerusalem. He is Treasurer of the Uptown Dental Study Club, a Rutgers Dental Alumni Representative, and was awarded the FAGD from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Barry Taller and Dr. Samuel published their most recent research in The Journal of Laser Dentistry titled: The Effect of 808-nm GaAIAs Diode Laser Treatment on Periodontal Pockets and Gingival Health During Routine Prophylaxis. Clean office . Great staff . Dentist is very helpful and breaks down a treatment plan throughly. Gives out different options that will work with you . Excellent scheduling times and they offer late days for after work so can't complain .

Clean office and very friendly staff. My dentist showed me pics of my teeth I'd never seen before. Dental services are always a little uncomfortable but they made it the best it could be. Dentist and the hygienist were both knowledgeable, answered all my questions and helped me out with the issues I was having with my teeth!

Taller is a fraud. His front desk openly lied to my wife and I about the level of coverage for our daughters visit and have tried to stick us with the bill. When his office repeatedly harassed me telling me I owed $1400+ more than what they originally gave as final bill I told them I need to check with my NHS to see if they could look into it. Taller eventually sent it to collections (Doesn't bother me cause I'm dual citizen and don't live in the country full time) which put it on my credit report(which I don't use really for the same reasons). I was given an advocate by my health department and she was successful in petitioning Equifax and TU to remove the claims from my reports and have remained off. You will not be this lucky. Get everything in writing like I did and make sure he's only doing the work he is meant to. Otherwise you will be dealing with a pricey mistake. Aside from that he was average in skill. This borders on a scam though so avoid.

I saw both Dr. Samuel Taller and Dr Barry Taller. I was very nervous, but the doctors and the assistant helped me relax. Both are kind and gentle. I recommend them both.

This staff is super nice. The Doctors explains everything in a detailed manner and answers all of my questions. Plus, I love that their chairs give me massages while they work on me. By far, best dentist experience I've had. Highly recommended!

We live close by and have heard nothing but great things about Dr. Taller's office. It was such a great visit. Everyone is extremely nice AND the have parking! I really recommend them!!

Dr. Taller is great (both of them)! I have been in search of a great dentist for a while and I'm so happy I found Dr. Taller's office. They open late a few days a week, so I don't have to leave work early. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Dr. Taller is patient, gentle and answers all of my questions. I definitely recommend!
