Dr. Tailor began her dental career in England and earned her doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York University in 2001. After practicing general dentistry in Northern New Jersey for several years, she opened her own patient-oriented dental office in Rutherford. Dr. Sonia Tailor is Board Certified by the North Eastern Regional Board and is a proud member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Bergen County Dental Society. She has spent many hours of continuing dental education in order to keep up with the many advances in modern dentistry, including training at Spear Education. She also is a certified Invisalign Provider and a KOR Whitening Provider.

Joanna has twenty years of experience in the dental field and is a native of the areas surrounding Rutherford. Joanna helps our patients feel at ease when visiting our office and stays in touch before and after their visits via text and email. She is very well versed in the field of dental insurance and is happy to assist in making dental care affordable. Outside the office, she is a busy mom, enjoys retail therapy, and loves animals, especially anything cat related!
Iwona is a Registered Dental Assistant who recently joined our practice after working for several years in New Jersey. She loves to bring a smile to patients faces and help them feel comfortable. She helps Dr. Tailor chairside and is licensed to perform limited duties in the mouth. Iwona is fluent in Polish and lives close to Rutherford.

We have been patients of Dr.Tailor for 20 years and we find her to be very professional and always caring for her patients needs. Recently my wife chipped a tooth and Dr.Tailor made time to have my wife come in asap and took care of her immediately even though she had a busy schedule. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. It was my first visit and I was so impressed by the receptionist Joann , the hygienist and of course the knowledgeable dentist. They are all amazing. I'm so happy I changed.

This is my third visit to Tailor Made Smiles and it is always a pleasure. Since I was a child visit to the dentist have been terrifying. This is the first time in my life- I am now 45 years old- that I feel comfortable going to the dentist.

Dr. Taylor and her team were amazing, make patients feel welcome, answered all questions I had about my procedure I am satisfied with the final results of my procedure, Dr. Taylor has a very gentle way to treat patients, I do recommend any one to visit her clinic, I liked the fact I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes.

Excellent practice. Joanne, who is the dentist office manager, is very helpful, she found out all about my insurance and helped me navigate their requests. Doctor Sonia is amazing. She's kind and understanding. She was very interested in my case and offered lots of options for my broken tooth. The dental assistant was also kind and accommodating when taking x-rays. The practice has state of the art technology, and it's pleasant.

Been going to Dr. Tailor for years, I highly recommend her. She is very patient and will give you a second if you need it, she won't rush you if you are nervous and fearful, she is truly the one to go to if in doubt who to see. Good Luck

I went in for a cracked denture, after not being there for almost 6 years... Dr Tailor remembered me and was as always so professional... She gave her all to help me, and also gave me other options... Explained everything and would not send me home until she helped the issue at hand If you are looking for a dentist I highly recommend, You become part of who they are!!
