Mary is our Dental Hygienist who moved to the Tahoe area 3 years ago from Minnesota. She first received her AAS in dental assisting and worked as a RDA for several years before returning to school to receive an AAS in dental hygiene.Mary has always been passionate about her career in dentistry and makes a point to ensure her patients have a positive, enjoyable experience.She is an outgoing, enthusiastic individual who is sure to make you Smile!!In her free time, Mary enjoys the great outdoors all year round in the mountains with her husband and two dogs. They love camping and skiing but her biggest passion is music. She loves to sing and goes to live music concerts as often as she can.

Helena is a passionate Registered Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children and the elderly. She has 14 years of experience in the Dental field.She started her Dental career in an Endodontic Dental office. She received her Registered Dental Assistant and other certifications. She continues her work with Dr. Westfalls office specializing with Pedo patients.Helena feels fortunate to have been one of the First team members for Dr Westfall at The Smile Shop. She is one of the team members who works alongside Dr. Westfall on the El Dorado Mobile Dental Van that travels to schools in the area to help local children with their oral health, upkeep & educate at an early age the importance of oral hygiene.She truly enjoys her work and goes above & beyond to ensure patient comfort. She views each child as if they were one of her own and makes sure they have an enjoyable experience.Helena is certified in Coronal Polishing, X-rays, Sealants and most recently Silver Diamine.

Maria grew up in Tahoe where she graduated at South Lake Tahoe High.She attended Lake Tahoe Community College where she studied in the Dental Assistant Program & trained at dental offices around Tahoes South Shore. She graduated with her Certified Dental Assistant certificate and holds certificates in X-rays, Sealants and Coronal PolishShe finally found her niche in 2017 at The Smile Shop where she loves to work with local patients, especially children.Maria is bi-lingual, in Spanish and English. When she is not assisting our Dentists, she loves to dabble in Art, specifically Drawing & when time allows, she loves to paint. Maria loves music & dancing.

Christina Castillo is a Dental Assistance who has been assisting for 2yrs now. She earned her Medical Assisting Terminology Certificate at Lake Tahoe Community College. She also earned her Dental Assistant Certificates through the Dental assisting program at Lake Tahoe Community College. She strives to further her education starting with becoming a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Once she completes her RDA, she plans to continue her education in Dentistry by studying for Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions (RDAEF2) or possibly becoming a Hygienist.She is a strong believer in life is what you make it. Jeanna was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe. She moved to LosAngeles to finish college where she earned a degree from the University of Southern California in Graphic Design. During college she worked in two animation studios; Rugrats and Nickelodeon, returning then to Tahoe.She has a playful personality and has a distinct contagiouslaugh. She refers everyone as Honey. She is a reliable hard worker and handles all our billing in our office. She enjoys reading and comedy in her down time.

Rosalie Brady, alias Rosie, was born & raised in Australia, (yes, she had kangaroos in her backyard). Rosie moved to Tahoe on exchange to Heavenly Mountain Resort from the Australian Snow Ski Industry back in the late 80s & fell in love with Tahoe.She worked for Heavenly for over 20 years but decided to have a change of lifestyle a couple of yearsago and began working as a Dental Front Office Assistant. Rosie joined The Smile Shop team in 2018. She has a son Daniel who also lives in Tahoe with the love of her life Leonidas alias LEO who is a very affectionate Boxer/pit. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors, taking photos & has a certificate in Photography from Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC)
