Dr. Hammack graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2012 and completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry the following year. He has proudly served as a dental officer in the United States Air Force, both overseas and at the Air Force Academy, earning the distinction of 2017 Clinical Dentist of the Year for outstanding dental care, community outreach, and customer service.
Dr. Hammack and his wife Cyndi hail from Oklahoma City and love living along the beautiful Front Range. Dr. Hammack first and foremost enjoys family time with Cyndi, daughters Kyla (8), Ellie (5), Madelyn (3) and son James (1). Dr. Hammack plays the violin, enjoys reading science fiction novels, and volunteers with youth sports. He also enjoys hiking, camping, skiing and follows the Denver Broncos, OSU Cowboys and OKC Thunder.
Dr. Hammack credits his uncle, a dentist in Oklahoma, with inspiring him to consider dentistry, but volunteering on a medical/dental mission trip to Central America solidified his resolve to pursue it as a career. He explains, I love the profession of dentistry, which allows me to establish meaningful, lifelong relationships with my patients, and I take great pride in helping them achieve a better quality of life through improved oral health and esthetics. It has always been my passion to provide outstanding dental care in a modern, patient-centered practice. I look forward to fostering lasting relationships with my patients for decades to come.

After trying out 2 other dentists, I finally found one that I like. The wait is never long and they have done great work. I had a filling fall out and they were able to get me in quickly to get that taken care of. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good dentist.

Dr.Tafolla and Dr.Hammack and their office are phenomenal. I've been a patient for over ten years and sincerely look forward to going to the dentist, the entire staff is INCREDIBLE!! Recently, my child (who normally goes to a pediatric dentist) had a dental emergency and her pediatric dentist couldn't get her in. I called my dentist (Tafolla and Hammack) and they fit my child in (who is not a patient at their office) with 30 minutes notice. I was SO relieved they fit my child in (they certainly didn't have too) and got the issue resolved. Dr.Tafolla and Dr.Hammack and their entire staff treat patients like family. I always look forward to catching up with my hygienist at my cleanings.

Amanda cleaned my teeth last week. I am Not anxious to visit the dentist's office. I almost did not go because the lady who has cleaned my teeth for years was not available. Amanda relieved most of my concerns by going over the notes she had about my care. She was patient while listening to my requests and was able to do things in a way that me feel comfortable. Her technique was great. I can say I had no discomfort during or after the procedure. If my regular hygienist is not available next, I will request Amanda.

Doesn't get any better than Tafolla & Hammack. I have been a long time client and have never had a bad experience. The staff is amazing and makes sure that you have a great experience. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a dentist in Colorado Springs!

I moved from out of state and was very worried about going to a new dentist and hygienist; but was so very pleased with this office. Everyone from the front staff to the hygienist to Dr. Tafolla were extremely nice and informative. I needn't have worried because Amanda was awesome and Dr. Tafolla was a joy. Very efficiently run office and I would highly recommend to anyone!
