First went to this dentist for a completely different problem to cavities. During my evaluation, I was told I had multiple cavities that need to be addressed. They did not take my insurance but I trusted the dentist, which put me out at over a grand. Immediately after the numbing wore off, I had pain. I was told it was my bite and it was adjusted. Pain persisted. I was then told I need to let the tooth rest. Fast forward six months, I go to another dentist who tells me ALL the fillings were not set correctly, resulting in every filling being redone. After that the pain was still there, but now with a correct bite, and I was sent to a specialist who proceeds to tell me that it appears the tooth behind the one he addressed was fractured. This dentist has put me out by thousands. I had to have everything treated by him repaired. And I had pain that continued to persist and be ignored as he fractured my other tooth in the process of his repair. Beyond disappointed. I have never had so many dental issues till I encountered this dentist. And don't get me started with his inappropriate demeanor towards female patients. Just avoid him and find someone competent.

Doctor Taborda and his staff are truly amazing.The best dental experience.Doctor Taborda is gentle and professional in every way. Always explain everything and answer all questions. Highly recommended.

I have the most amazing experience I've ever had when it comes to dentist. From the desk to the doctor I experienced nothing but professionalism, courtesy and 100% comfortability. This practice is by far the best I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few. They make it a point to make sure I was comfortable not feeling any pain. As far as my smile I've never looked so good. As soon as I walked out of that dental office I feel like I have a new quality of life I haven't felt this good in years thank you

Dr. Taborda is the Best! He is so gentle and always makes sure you are comfortable during the procedures. Mr. Milton and the front desk staff are super efficient and professional, they always explain the billing process and help you finding appointment times that works for you. I highly recommended!

I was having severe tooth pain. I researched and found this dentist that was recommended within the community. I am so elated that I decided to call them. They got me an emergency appointment, and fixed my issue within the same day!! I want to say that Dr. Taborda and all the staff treated me like a human. That to me, is so important. I can't express how grateful I am for having found this place. I appreciate you guys!! Give them a try if you're looking for a dentist.

Even after moving to Mount Dora earlier this year, I'll gladly make the drive to Port Orange to see Dr. Taborda as my dentist. He is the very BEST! To those who are frustrated by cancellations due to staffing shortages, I would ask this: Do you REALLY want just anyone poking around in your mouth? I know I don't! I'll happily wait my turn for one of Dr. Taborda's incredibly talented hygienists. I've never had a situation where I couldn't be worked in if there was an emergency or an issue that couldn't wait. Taborda Dentistry is simply the best - professional in every way, but they treat you like a part of the family. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!!

I was on an extended vacation taking care of my parents. It was Christmas Eve day and I contacted 10 dentists in town. I had a tooth that had chipped and was cutting my tongue. Everyone was closed or only open to existing patients. DDS Taborda is the only one that called me that day. His office was closed but he had a few patients coming in that day. He welcomed me quickly and buffed out the tooth so I didn't have an incredibly painful holiday weekend. His office is gorgeous. And it sounds like he does incredibly high-end work but still takes care of people in an emergency! I'm in the process of transferring my insurance down to florida. And I asked him what he wanted for payment and he said no charge. Ironically I did bring him a box of candy. Which I had to rethink later! He took care of me out of concern as his ethics demanded. My parents and I will all be coming back and making him a regular dentist. Really well done.

They dropped me as a patient. Two days before my appointment for a cleaning they called and told me not to come and they would let me know when they could see me again. I was never late and never missed any appointments , I had no outstanding balance on my account and their practice never closed. I guess they just weren't making enough money off of me? Too bad because I really liked them, guess they didn't feel the same about me.

Taborda Dentistry was my family's dentist who I often would refer other people to because we have had nothing but good experiences until recently. The office cancelled our cleaning appointments saying it was Covid related, that they do not have a dental hygienist on staff. After the first time of cancellations I patiently waited for the office to call back to reschedule, they never called back after weeks of waiting. I had to call them to check on the status, the first time I called they still did not have a hygienist on staff, the second time I called they had hired a hygienist that they were going down a list of patients to call to make appointments that it is taking a while to call everyone back, the receptionist went ahead and scheduled me for another appointment while on the phone, this past week.....Not Surprising they called me back and said they no longer have a hygienist and cancelled my appointment Yet again that was scheduled for next week. We have successfully been able to schedule appointments with other reputable practices in the area and have left this office as patients. Its a shame because we loved this practice.

Went here on a recommendation and I could not be happier! I had an emergency and not only did they fit me in, it was the best dental experience I ever had! Totally painless!! Office are clean, staff is excellent and the dr is great!! Felt safe despite COVID due to all the precautions taken by the doctor and staff. Highly recommend!

I cannot even begin to explain how much I love this dentist and his staff. The compassion, the gentleness, patience, and the work that he does is literally phenomenal. I have been coming to this office only a short time, perhaps about three months. But in that time he has worked miracles in my mouth. He listens compassionately and thinks out-of-the-box to help. It is so clearly evident that Dr. Taborda wants the best for his patients. He and his staff are so kind and gracious. I haven't seen such quality customer service anywhere in too many years. When we first went into the office (at the recommendation of some good friends), it was because my husband was having some discomfort from cavities he had been neglecting, and I had accidentally chipped my upper front tooth. I knew we had a wedding coming up for our daughter, so we were hoping to at least get some of the issues resolved, even perhaps a couple of cosmetic issues, depending on the cost and time factor. So my husband and I made appointments for cleaning, x-rays and evaluation (it had been way too long since we had been to a dentist due to not-so-good experiences at a previous office). The x-rays confirmed my husband's cavities; however, mine showed many cracked teeth, fillings had fallen out, possible root canals pending, and so much more. I knew I could no longer try to nurse these issues along with my own home remedies. Dr. Taborda sat down with my husband and me and compassionately went over the long term plans to correct my many, many dental issues, pointing out the more pressing ones first. Realistically, we knew we had little time nor resources to get those repairs done prior to the big day. It was clearly evident that Dr. Taborda genuinely wanted to make my smile perfect for the wedding pictures (he was more concerned about it than I was), particularly the tooth that had been missing in my upper right quadrant for probably 15 or 20 years. It would've been nice, but I knew that was something we could not tackle in such a short time. I told him I would just make sure I turned my head to the right a bit for the pictures, like I had for many years. My husband did get some of his dental work done within the next week so the cavities would not get larger, etc, and we sat down that same day with Dr. Taborda again to continue discussing my repairs. He quickly sent me to an Endodontist for root canal evaluation before we could proceed with the most pressing plans. Dr. Taborda's office called to follow up with a request for another appointment to discuss those results; but my busyness seem to get in the way of setting a day or time. Soon the wedding was 10 days away. We were able to keep our previous appointments to get our teeth cleaned again, just so they would be bright and shiny for the big day. I did ask the office if Dr. Taborda could possibly replace my cleaning time with just a quick temporary repair of the tiny patches on the front teeth, upper and lower, but I told him if he couldn't, I perfectly understood. To my amazement, Dr. Taborda not only gave me an incredible cleaning (with the most gentle touch, I might add), he did a perfect "temporary" fix on both front teeth AND somehow brilliantly created/built a "temporary crown" in the big gap where my tooth was missing! Seriously! I really don't know how he did it! And I have to say, it wasn't so temporary! It all still looks perfect! I am truly in awe and so blessed to be directed to Dr. Taborda just a few short months ago. He worked miracles in that brief time and I am forever grateful! I pray God richly blesses him, his staff and his business!

As a Family Practice physician is was difficult to find time to sit down and write this review, but i felt strongly enough about it that I decided to make time. Dr. Toborda and his staff are TOP NOTCH and that is easy to recognize being in the medical field. I suffer from dental anxiety like many others which stemmed from previous bad experiences, and Dr. Toborda and his staff have gone out of their way to make my experiences great ones. I first met Dr. Toborda after I had a crown break and needed an emergency dental appointment. I was impressed by his reviews and decided to give him a chance. He got me in right away and I ended up needing a root canal, which I was pretty nervous about. He performed the root canal flawlessly and I did not feel a thing! He even used topical lidocaine to where I didn't even feel the injection! When I say he has thought of everything for your comfort I mean it. He has sedation available if needed which helped me greatly and slapped some Bose headphones on me while his assistant DJ'd so that I didn't even have to hear the procedure which was an awesome touch. His dental chairs face the window which is very comforting and he has even gone as far as placing a hummingbird feeder right outside of the window where you may get a chance to have something peaceful to watch during your visit. I was very pleased with the results of the procedure and his bedside manner. His staff is as equally as talented and courteous as he is and did a wonderful job putting me at ease. From the front desk to the dental chair I experienced nothing but the best treatment. His office is clean and nicely decorated, and I am truly grateful for the experience I had. If you are looking for an awesome dentist with professional staff that will make you feel at home look no further. Nicely done Dr. Taborda!

Great dentist office! I am new to town, and had a dental emergency. They got me in quickly, were kind, gentle and provided excellent patient care. Glad I found Taborda Dentistry - they'll be my dentist moving forward - highly recommend!

You can tell The staff and Taborda Focuses on the client being very comfortable and the facility it SOOO CLEAN! . Ive had many procedures done, regular teeth cleaning, filling to and implant. Very painless and comfortable every time I go. I used to be scared to go to the dentist but with Taborda dentistry. Also, Every time I go they have even more cool tools to use lol Dr. Taborda is very up to date on new technology, you can tell and that makes me feel even more comfortable. I never see my self going to another dentist ever!! I've been going here for 6 years now and I've ALWAYS been very well taken care of. I'm grateful I found this dentist. Staff is always welcoming and very nice as well :) (most important for me is not being in pain, and that's why I prefer this dentist over any dentist I've ever been to)

This is, by far the best experience I have ever had at a Dental visit. The assistant was wonderful, polite, courteous, her energy was fantastic!!!! Dr. Taborda gave me more hope than any Dentist I have ever met. I first heard of him when I was on the board of the Kornacki foundation. I am now director of Solutions by the Sea recovery residence for men. Dr. Taborda gives free dental service to my men men who have nothing. He is truly a blessing to us and the community. Thank you so much Doc!!!

I called in with extreme wisdom tooth pain. I hadnt slept in days and the wonderful receptionist got me an appointment within the hour. Everyone was very nice and welcoming and made me very comfortable. After seeing my xrays they decided to pull 2 of them. I didn't feel a thing! I was very nervous as i had never had a tooth pulled before but everything went nice and smoothly. No pain what so ever! And i was in and out so quick! Dr. Taborda and his associates are amazing! I'll recommend them to everyone i know!
