Dr. Crane is very professional, kind, and has a great staff. We were traveling and they stayed late on a Friday to fit my husband in with an emergency. We couldn't have been more pleased. We highly recommend this office.
My first time at this facility was awesome. The dentist there explained to me that I was going to be excited with my new white smile as well as fixing my front tooth that was cracked bad!!!!! Thanks Dr. Crane for giving me my smile back!!!!
T. Kirk Crane, DDSDr. Crane was born in Newellton, Louisiana, and graduated from LSU in Baton Rouge in 1972. After working as a state health inspector, Dr. Crane attended the LSU School of Dentistry and graduated in 1977. He moved his office to Lafayette in 1992 after he originally opened one in his hometown.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Acadiana District Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Pierre Fauchard Academy, American Orthodontic Society, Academy of Laser Dentistry and Academy of Computerized Dentistry.
Dr. Crane enjoys boating, hunting, playing golf, anything LSU, working in his yard and doting over his grandchildren. He has served on the board of directors of the Krewe of Triton as secretary, president and, in 2010, captain. In this role, he was responsible for developing and coordinating the ball and tableau theme Once Upon a Time including decorations, float design and costumes. In 2014, Dr. Crane was selected by the Krewe of Triton XXXIV to reign over their ball and tableau.
Katurah Office ManagerKaturah graduated from Delta College as a certified medical office administrative assistant, biller and coder. She is the receptionist and assists the office manager with daily tasks here at the office. She considers it a privilege to work for a dentist who appreciates his team, and she also appreciates that she is able to be a part of a great team and work with a dentist who takes great care in helping restore smiles to those who are seen every day.
Ashley Dental AssistantAshley has been a dental assistant in Lafayette, Louisiana, for over five years. She began her dental career in 2014 at Unitech Training Academy. After working for a while, she completed the expanded duties dental assistant course through the LSU Board of Dentistry in 2015 and is now recognized by the state as an expanded duties dental assistant (EDDA). She is also certified in dental radiology, infection control, CPR and Adult, Child and Infant Basic Life Support (BLS). She often goes alongside Dr. Crane to continuing education classes to stay up to date on new technology and new techniques. She has been working with Dr. Crane for three years and plans to work for many more.
Roxanne Dental AssistantRoxanne completed her dental assisting education at Southwest Dental Academy in Lafayette, Lousiana, in 2014. She also received certificates in dental radiology, infection control, universal precautions, CPR and first aid. After beginning her dental assisting career, Roxanne then ventured on to take the expanded duty dental assistant course through LSU School of Dentistry in 2016, and she is certified as an EDDA through the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry.
Roxanne has been with Dr. Crane since June of 2017. She has been continuing her education with dental conferences and seminars to keep up to date with the latest technology and research. She enjoys working in this office where the patient is top priority.

Like others, I have severe anxiety when it comes to dentist visits. My anxiety stemmed from bad experiences as a child with dentist and from needles. My anxiety is so bad in fact that I have only been to the dentist three times in forty seven years this visit with Dr Kirk Crane and his assistant was the third. I wish I could remember the assistants name because she is truly wonderful beginning with the first call to set up appointment. Dr Crane and his assistant explained every detail to me and answered all my questions. They were very patient with me and helped me through my anxiety and panic attacks. And made me feel that I wasn't just another bad mouth they had to attend to. It is not going to be fifteen years before my next visit. I will be a regular to this office because we only have one set of teeth. I recommend Dr Crane to everyone. In fact on the way out my husband made his appointment and surprisingly I can't wait until my next visit. Rhonda L

I have gone here for years. They always provide exceptional service and reasonable prices. With the latest equipment they use, I didn't even skip a beat and was back to work right after. No down time, no pain. I recommend this place to everyone!

Dr. Crane and his staff are truly amazing! When I go to the dentist, I want someone who is both gentle and thorough. Dr. Crane and his staff exceeded all of my expectations. He always takes his time and never rushes the appointment. The entire staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Crane goes the extra mile to address all of your concerns and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Crane!

Dr. Crane took the time to explain my issues and answer any questions I had. This was my first visit with Dr. Crane. My previous dentist had retired. I had quite a few dentist in the past and this dental visit was by far the best experience I've had at a dentist office hands down. If you want a doctor who really seems to care about your health you need to visit this place. Everyone is super nice. I arrived early and had to wait a whopping 10 seconds to be seated in the chair. To anyone who is nervous about dentist, GO HERE!!

Great dentist with amazing stuff!!! Very talkative and informative. Pulled a wisdom tooth with absolutely no pain! Even took time out of his own personal festivities to come to his office to fix my problem. I Will now drive a hour just to come to him. Would highly recommend

Dr Crane has been my dentist for years. When I first went to him I had a phobia with dentist. He gave me a new smile and confidence with his care. I love him and his wife Susan. He has came in to take care of emergencies after hours and on the weekend. Coutura, I'm sure I didn't sorry get your name right, the receptionist, knows exactly what I need and explains everything. I'm sorry I don't know his assistant names but they make you feel at home. I just wanna thank him and his entire staff for giving me a reason to smile.
