After graduating high school in 2010, he attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse where he majored in BioMedical Sciences and minored in Chemistry. Dr. Nichols received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Midwestern University in Chicago in May of 2018.
Dr. Nichols is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society. He is constantly looking to improve himself and his skills to provide the best care possible to his patients.
John Cronkrite, DDS Dr. John Cronkrite attended the university of Wisconsin at Eau Claire and graduated from Marquette Dental School in 1976. He has enjoyed practicing dentistry for almost 40 years. He spends his leisure time with his kids and grandchildren, and he loves to tinker with old cars and vintage motorcycles.
Kristen W. Hygienist Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs, and is excited to welcome a baby in July 2018. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, hiking and camping in Door County.
Claudette N. Hygienist Claudette lives in Mosinee with her husband Terry and her two daughters Halle and Hanna. Her favorite thing to do is travel all over to watch both her girls play volleyball all year round!!
Erika G. Dental Assistant Erika enjoys running. During the weekend, she and her husband enjoy cooking new recipes. They love their dog, Jupiter. In the summer, they enjoy hiking and like to spend time with family and friends. Erika loves helping out our Spanish-speaking patients, and they love her!

I was at Szmanda Dental center at Edgar for a routine dental cleaning, X-rays and exam today. Great experience! Patti at the front desk was welcoming and efficient. My hygienist did a terrific job, was cheerful and professional. Dr. Nichols came in promptly to examine my teeth and send me on my way. I am extremely happy with every aspect of my Dental visit. My husband was seen simultaneously by the other hygienist, and he had an equally excellent visit as a dental patient at Szmanda Dental in Edgar. We give 2 thumbs up to them!

Best Dentist around. Make you feel relaxed and really explains everything clearly, takes time and treats you with great respect. A very polite office, from receptionist, to dental associates, to Thomas Nichols. Very impressed and would highly recommend this dentist office. Thanks, I am one who does not like going to the dentist.

I really appreciate having this dental clinic in Edgar. It is so convenient being relatively close to home and the staff there is so friendly. They take great precautions to prevent unnecessary exposure which makes me more comfortable.
