We love Dr Angie and her staff! My two children, 8 and 13, and my husband and myself have all been multiple times. The staff have all been very nice and Dr. Angie is the most knowledgeable general practitioner I know! Thanks for the awesome care guys!!

Dr. Tenholder and her entire office have been a mighty blessing to our entire family. For over a decade, she has "been there" for us. I have actually found myself enjoying my time there, and have been completely comfortable in her care. I was in the military for 24 years, we travelled a lot and saw a LOT of dentists across the years. Based on a lifetime of experience, I can tell you that Dr. Tenholder is amazing in her skills. ESPECIALLY when it comes time to numb you up for dental work. I've never met anyone as good as her! Most of the time I do not feel the needle going in, and am still waiting for her to do it, after she has already completed the numbing injection! I tell her (and I mean it!) that "I don't want anyone but you to EVER put a needle in my mouth!" On top of that, she is a world-wide leader (elected president of a major dental organization!) in dental technology, with the latest research, skills and tools at your service. THE BEST DENTIST ON THE PLANET!

Holy freaking high horse is "Dr. Angie" on. I mean props for everything this woman is trying to do, but why she is so stuck up about it I have no idea, and I would in no way recommend an experience like this to anyone. Every single time I saw her, at her super rushed appointments, she had to bring up her "multiple credentials". She speaks super fast and If you ask her to repeat herself or explain, she literally rolls her eyes and says "you won't understand anyway". So she's apparently super educated but hasn't found a way to compassionately and appropriately explain it to her patients so that they understand and feel comfortable? Even her hygienists don't know the answers to questions so she's not educating anyone. It feels like she needs to be the only one that understands it to remain important. She even told me I was "demanding" and all I was asking for was information. I prefer doctors that want you to understand what youre doing to your body and paying for. In my personal experience, the first time I went she stated, "you will not be able to fix this without this mouth guard". Second time I come in for the mold she says, "this might not work". I told her it sounded like a sales pitch and then the truth, especially when she wont even take the time to explain it. I gave a second star because she at least refunded me.

I would not recommend this place. They take 500$ charge for a first appointment exam including pictures, x-rays and a radiologist report. They then will send you bills months later for bills you have already paid. Then when you call to discuss the bill that was sent out of the blue when my apt was 3 months ago. They don't listen to what you have to say or your problems. They will not help you if they do not like your physical therapist as the reason why I was treated poorly, then told me they were trying to get on her schedule to coordinate my apts back to back then blamed it on her as to why they hadn't gotten back to me as they said they would. I asked for reports they told me to get to see somebody they wouldn't have a problem doing this with then they just ghosted me as a company. I also called 3x 2 were forwarded straight to voicemail and then the 3rd time I called off a blocked number and they answered right off the bat then was told by Lisa that she is one person and didn't have time right now. Save your money and go elsewhere that will actually help you not waste your time!! The photo added shows the date of my ONLY apt here and it was paid at that date and they send a bill for nothing then try and lie. DONT USE THIS PLACE!!!

Update: I could have died. I could have lost my tooth. Angela Tenholder left dead tissue and an unidentified foreign material in my root canal and had an abscessed tooth after her root canal treatment. Had this developed into sepsis I could have died. When she was asked by my current dentist for xrays to help with current care her office declined to send them stating they no longer had them. If she truly no longer has my records then this is a violation of dental record retention law. The abscessed tooth led to holes in my bone that will take another year to heal. Several Thousand Dollars Later I am so regretful I didn't leave her practice sooner. It's been a few years since I left this dentist and I'm still suffering the consequences of her poor work. She gave me a root canal that still hurts everyday. Two dentists have directed me to a root canal specialist to fix it, when they press up high on my gums it hurts and they say it's a nerve that's inflamed from that root canal. I also had one of the crowns she put in fall out shortly after while out at dinner. She talks on and on and seems so knowledgeable and nice which is why I stayed too long but wish I hadn't. What finally made me leave was when she recommended a 6K orthodontic device be placed at the roof of my daughters mouth. She charged several hundred just to evaluate my daughter for this. I then took my daughter to an orthodontist who evaluated her for free, and told me she couldn't figure out why the device had been recommended as she didn't see any need for it. The orthodontist also recommended we have the spacer the dentist put in removed ASAP. This because if it was left there my daughter would have needed an implant placed to fill the gap. If removed then her teeth would align naturally to fill the gap. When my daughter went in to have the spacer removed she said she was treated very coldly by the staff and dentist that day, she was a grade schooler and dentist make her so anxious as it is. I wasn't in the room as I recall that they preferred parents not be there with their children which is something I have not experienced anywhere else. I don't like leaving poor reviews but felt compelled to share our experience should it help others.

There's a dental appointment and then there's an experience. Synergy Dental is an incredible place for holistic healthcare. Dr. Angie is compassionate and has gone above and beyond to further her training to help patients when others cannot. Thank you! I'm so grateful, and I'm grateful my family can go here too!

Dr. Angie Tenholder is a master at the craft of dentistry and body function. Her services are unmatched by any other provider. She has been amazing with my personal dental dysfunction, and has been equally amazing in finding functional solutions with my three boys dentistry needs as well. She has worked diligently to correct skull and body disfunction that resulted from traditional orthodontics and the use of a palatal expander. Her approach to your dental needs is holistic. She corrects the teeth/bite while simultaneously ensuring the cranial function and body function are along for the ride as well. She is AMAZING! I highly recommend her and her office staff! Visit Synergy Dental Solutions.....I promise that you will not be disappointed in the outcome!

I wish the other reviews were still accurate. On a recent visit to the office, my wife was told Dr. Tenholder will no longer allow a parent to accompany their child into any sort of treatment. Not even infant care! According to the new office policy conveniently blamed on OHSA and HIPPA (because none of her rooms have doors to keep anyone from seeing in, walking in, or going to places they shouldn't be) ALL parents will be asked to stay in the waiting area. The policy explicitly states that that if your child becomes upset, you can either leave your appointment with your child or leave your upset child in the care of the staff. But you will not be allowed to remain with them. You must sign this policy before being seen. BEWARE!! We will no longer be using this dentist. Shame, they used to be so accommodating.

I have been going to Synergy for quite sometime. The staff is awesome, and Dr. Tenholder truly cares about all of her patients. As for the no parents allowed with their children back in the treatment room, I for one absolutely condone this. I want my children to build a trust with their dentist. If I am there, they will do anything they can to get my sympathy and will only harm their experience with the Dentist. As for someone who has a phobia about dentists, I wish my dentist had this policy when I was a child. Also, would have wanted my dentist to build my trust about good dental hygiene and allowed me as the child to do so on my own. Additionally, as an adult, I have been to other offices where parents cannot control their children in the dental chair and other kids that they bring in and it has been a major distraction to the dentist and the patients alike. My family have been loyal patients of Dr. Tenholder for well over 10 years, and I can assure you that you will not find a more professional, knowledgeable, and caring place to take your family for amazing dental care. P.S. Nothing is done to a child without the parent's consent and full agreement prior to any procedure. Last I checked, parents cannot come to an operating room with their children, so why should the dentist be any different?

We love this office! Both of my children have enjoyed their experiences with Dr.Angie and her staff. ALF Therapy has changed my children's growth and development for the better! The parent policy is a non issue for us. As a parent I am always involved in their treatment decisions and informed of their care every step of the way. Having my children go back to the room without me has allowed them to build trust with the Team and confidence in themselves. The best part is my dental fears have not been passed onto them. The staff always get me when I am needed.

I have had traumatic dental visits in the past, and the entire staff was so helpful and kind and patient with me. I love that their practice is based on the fact the whole body is connected. I only wish I had found them sooner!
