Michael Sycamore, DDS, is a Ventura County native. He graduated from Thousand Oaks High School, completed his undergraduate degree at California State University Channel Islands, and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Southern California. He has been working in and around the dental field for nearly a decade and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry, including a year long hospital based residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City. Dr. Sycamore is also a member of the California Dental Association (CDA), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Santa Barbara-Ventura Dental Society. His emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the highest quality of care in the field. Dr. Sycamore has a wide range of experience in diverse areas of dentistry from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to oral surgery and endodontics.

Dr. Sycamore and the staff are amazing. I am very picky about my medical professionals because a lot of them come off as condescending and rude. I have no problem immediately switching doctors if I don't like them, but I have been going to this place since about 2014/15- and have even gone to college on the East Coast and now I'm med school in Arizona and I plan my dental appointments and cleanings around school breaks so when I come home I can keep coming back here. Dr. Sycamore has always listened to my problems and done what he could to help. For example: I thought my tooth was turning black and immediately made an appointment, he said he thought my tooth looked fine (I caught it VERY early) but tested it anyway to make sure and it turned out to be dead. Then he followed up and it ended up being a lot more complicated than we thought and he referred me to a great surgeon. This is huge because instead of sending me down a path where he could have run up a bill to not fix the issue, he sent me somewhere immediately to get help. His staff is also incredible. I went to another dentist in Simi that was also nice but his staff was mean and condescending and I always felt bed (like a child being scolded for an hour) after a visit, meanwhile everyone at this office has always been kind, gentle, and welcoming. I highly suggest this place and cannot stress enough how nice it is to have a doctor not shut down my concerns but listen and follow up while also having a staff that doesn't blame the patient but actually is nice and encouraging.

Dr. Sycamore and his entire staff are extremely professional, compassionate and caring. This office is very clean! I needed an urgent dental appointment and got seen the same day. I called in the morning and got an appointment for that same afternoon. I never feel rushed during appointments. I recommend Dr. Sycamore to family and friends. Thank you Dr. Sycamore and staff for providing the level of service that you do. You are second to none.

I have had nothing but great experiences here. Most times I have gone in for a check up & cleaning, they do just that - check up, clean, and let me know everything is looking good. This last time I went in I knew something was wrong with my tooth and sure enough there was. I love that they took pictures of what was wrong with my tooth so that I could see it and understand what needed to be fixed. I am so happy to have found a dentist I can trust and that does a great job.

Been twice already and am so pleased. I actually found a dentist I will continue to go to! Had such bad experiences in the past with places lying and scamming me. They don't do that here. Sycamore Dentistry really spends time cleaning your teeth best cleaning I've ever had. Highly recommend.

I have had nothing but great experiences here. Most times I have gone in for a check up & cleaning, they do just that - check up, clean, and let me know everything is looking good. This last time I went in I knew something was wrong with my tooth and sure enough there was. I love that they took pictures of what was wrong with my tooth so that I could see it and understand what needed to be fixed. I am so happy to have found a dentist I can trust and that does a great job.

I had a long time dentist when I lived in the San Fernando Valley that I went to for years. I now live in Simi Valley and I received a card about Sycamore Dentistry. A friend in my apt bldg said Dr. Sycamore is great! I was late in seeing a dentist for a check-up, x-rays and cleaning. So I called Sycamore Dentistry and was greeted by a very nice person named Emily. She was friendly, professional and efficient which is rare in most medical/dental offices. She was able to give me an appointment the same week I called. I was rather surprised. I called on a Tuesday and I got an appointment on a Thursday. Wow! I went in today and was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist named Leslie . I filled out the necessary paperwork and in less than 5 minutes, I was taken back for my appointment. Fleet got me ready in the chair and took full mouth digital x-rays then Dr. Sycamore greeted me and said he would like to take a look at my teeth. He checked my teeth and gums very thoroughly and then said Fleet would be in to check my gums. She did that and then she started to clean my teeth. Fleet was so gentle, thorough, very professional and very nice as well. I was so impressed with my first visit. It was such a pleasant experience and it all was done so efficiently. The office is state of the art. I am already scheduled to be seen in 6 months for a checkup again. I am so glad I found out about Sycamore Dentistry. I am only 5 minutes away. Thank you all for your excellent service. You made my smile brighter!

Wonderful staff, excellent dentist. Straight answers on projected expenses and insurance coverage. Always following up to make sure you are ok after a procedure. Last dentist I will ever need for my wife and I !!

Been coming here for a year. The place is squeaky clean, very modern with their technology. Netflix is available for longer procedures. Whole office is exemplary in good communication. Patient with all your questions. Doc Sycamore is good at what he does. Also, Cassie is awesome. Go Cassie!
