I received a dental cleaning and general check-up from Swish Dental Mueller Alamo. Although I arrived late to the appointment, they took me in almost immediately. From the start, I was made to feel very comfortable at Swish. The technician gave me a water bottle and some sunglasses to wear during my appointment in case the light from the glasses they wear when working on your teeth bothered me. The office is incredibly clean and aesthetically pleasing. They play some music for you, and each exam room has its own TV for you to watch during your exam. Further, everyone working with me during my appointment was incredibly thorough - they took x-rays, panoramic 3D scans, and pictures of my teeth, went over the details of my teeth and what the appointment would entail, and answered every single one of my questions. This is my first time going to Swish, but I will definitely be back!

Hands down the BEST dental experience I've ever had. I had been dreading this appointment because with covid and just a lot of life changes I'd not been to the dentist in four years. The staff was kind, communicative and the cleaning by the INCREDIBLE Jericha was completely pain free. Dr. Thompson also has an excellent bedside manner. Highly highly recommend.

Don't believe all the hype. Bottom line they submit fraudulent claims to insurance for services never rendered and will engage in concerning practices such as drawing out a cleaning to 3 separate visits, likely so they can get the cost of an oral exam 3 times. I have an appt with a hopefully better dentist next week and am not eligible for X-rays because of Swish Dental's fraudulent claim. This place is fancy looking but it's all a distraction for how crooked they really are. The cleaning was also subpar in my opinion. I wish I could leave 0 stars.

My kiddo was grateful for how effective and gracious her hygienist was this morning. The teenager actually said "gentle" and "efficient" when praising the woman who cleaned her teeth.

Lovely staff and experience today, I'll definitely be using them moving forward! Scheduling online and text reminders with your new patient forms is a breeze! Being a pretty curious person about technology, everyone I interacted with was very friendly and patient when I had questions about the equipment they used! With their 3D scans, they take the time to show you your scans and point out areas of concerns!

I have been getting dental services from the Swish Dental since some time in 2020. I was transferred from the Swish Dental Mueller Family location to the Alamo location after my first visit to Swish Dental Mueller Family. The reason I given for this transfer was that the Mueller Family location was no longer in network with my provider United Concordia. Recently I started receiving bills from United Concordia stating that I owe the provider money because Swish Dental is not in network with United Concordia. After each bill I contacted Swish Dental Alamo and was told they are in network, it must be a mistake by my insurance company, and they would take care of it. Each time Swish Dental did take care of the bill and I assumed my insurance company had made a mistake as claimed by Swish Dental. Recently I added my wife to my insurance, and she went in for a cleaning. She was charged $102.50 for the cleaning, and she was told that price was with my insurance added. I called my insurance company and explained to them the "mix-ups" from the past and the current bill. They informed me there were no mix-ups, Alamo Mueller has not been in network with United Concordia since 2020. When I spoke to the Swish Dental Alamo location the individual from the billing department was not aware that they were not in network with United Concordia and told me that her Administration Team advised that I should contact their Billing Department. I contacted their Billing Department, and I was told that they are in fact in network with United Concordia but through the umbrella insurance program Careington. I contacted United Concordia to ask if a provider within the umbrella program Careington can claim to be in network with United Concordia and I was told they cannot. Being part of Careington does not make the service provider in network with United Concordia. Because Swish Dental has been misleading me for years, I have likely paid hundreds if not thousands of dollars more for dental that I should have if they were as they claim to be "in network".

I recently received a dental exam and cleaning from Mueller Alamo's Swish. The procedure was incredibly comfortable from start to finish. The dentist and hygienist were so personable and fun to talk to that it was calming and low key. I don't get dentist anxiety really but am not particularly thrilled to be getting stuff scraped off my teeth but, all in all, this was the best dental experience I've had. Super easy; ultra friendly and accommodating; and effortless from start to finish (on my end anyways). I can't recommend enough. This place, and the wonderful staff, are awesome.
