I've lived in Austin for 30 years and this is the best dental practice I've ever visited. Nobody really loves going to the dentist, but I found a great practice here. Dr. Gill is fantastic.

I left in tears this morning because they refused to clean my teeth and instead tried to charge me for a procedure my insurance didn't cover.

Everyone was so nice and friendly from the front staff to the dentist Abbie. And my hygienist Fred was one of the most kind and gentle hygienists I've ever had. I went to the domain location and highly recommend them!

I was a little nervous about going to Swish Dental because in my experience, when there are multiple locations sometimes the priority is to get you in and out the door as quickly as possible. This was not the case at Swish! They took their time and thoroughly cleaned my teeth.

I've been going to Swish for a few years and I'm always very happy with them. The service is top notch. Everyone is always friendly and answer all questions without making you feel rushed or taken advantage of. The dental hygienists are all great. Friendly, knowledgeable, quick, rarely any waiting. They make you feel comfortable and I really find going to the Dentist a pleasant experience these days, one I no longer dread since switching to Swish.

UPDATE: I am updating my 1 star to 3 stars as I received a next day phone call from Michael (Operations Manager) at Swish. Michael was courteous and professional. He apologized for the unprofessional treatment I received over the phone and we had a good conversation about how unacceptable this was. Michael offered me a free teeth whitening service, to be scheduled in December. Thank you Michael for your follow up. I will update my review again in December after my Swish Domain visit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I called Swish Domain on October 4th, 2022 around 12:10 p.m. The answering service connected me to the Domain location, and said someone may or may not answer because 12-1 was their lunch hour. I was transferred and Meredith answered. I was calling based on information I saw on their website about oral appliance for Sleep Apnea and Snoring. I spoke with Meredith who answered none of my questions and pushed me to come in for a free consultation. I explained that I was looking for an approximate out of pocket cost for the oral appliance to assist with mild snoring. She repeated that I needed to come in for a free consultation (typical sales move) and said she could transfer me to her manager. I said, yes thank you and waited 10 minutes on hold. The manager came to the phone and without greeting me or asking me for more information, repeated the same script Meredith did. I explained I had been previously tested for sleep apnea and my current dentist recommended I see a dentist who specialized in oral anti snoring/apnea devices. Her customer service skill were exceptionally poor. And she kept repeating can I make an appointment for you? Can I make an appointment for you? Over and over to which I responded, no thank you and that I would be writing a review and asked for her name. As soon as I asked for her name SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME!!! I called back 4 times, and all 4 times the phone was HUNG UP. I would love to have a conversation with upper management about this lack of skilled client service. At no point was I irate or disrespectful in my communication with either of the women. If I could give SWISH 0 stars I would. Again, the manager whose name she did not give me because she hung up on me was working on October 4th, 2022 and the time was around 12:15 p.m. I work for a pretty large tech company and I'll be sure to let everyone know to take their business elsewhere because of the unprofessionalism of SWISH DOMAIN.

I hadn't been to the dentist in over two decades out of fear. I chose this office because of proximity to my home knowing nothing about the service. This was the best service I'd received in a while and have already recommended family members to this office! The staff was great and helpful and calming

I had a gum cleaning here. Everything went fine, first time registration took a while, but cleaning was painless and quite fast.

They have great dentists on their roster, but they are too big for their own business model. I have quite a few dental problems, so I made some appointments and started taking care of it all. I had zero issues with scheduling appointments until you need to reschedule one. My schedule at work changed and I needed to change my "regularly scheduled cleaning" but they didn't have any available appointments for 3 months. So I waited until they emailed me again, and I made an appointment. When I went to schedule my appointment, there were PLENTY of available dates to choose from. So I chose one. And then again, my work schedule changed, and I attempted to reschedule my appointment. Again, I'm told that there are no available appointments until December 6. They offered to send me to a different location, with a different doctor who has never met me or have any idea about the treatment plan that I laid out with my own dentist. So my question is this: How is a dentist office going to contact me to make an appointment for my semi-annual cleaning, and then tell me that there aren't any appointments for 3 months? So I decided to cancel my appointment completely and find a new dentist. All of a sudden, they are very apologetic and are willing to squeeze me in on another day of my choosing. Seems like they don't care about your scheduling needs until it interferes with the money they make. I don't know. If you want the fast food version of dentistry, where no one knows who you are, and you see a different dentist every time you schedule an appointment, then this is the place for you.

Professional yet laid-back, which is good for a dentists office. Has a great vibe, a felt comfortable with what they were doing. Front office staff was great, and as an Native Austinite I support local! I am glad to have Swish Dental on my health team.
