Dr. Reid Swenson was born in Salt Lake City and raised in Lehi. If you have seen The Sandlot you have seen my childhood said Dr. Swenson. He remembers Lehi when there were no stop lights and witnessed the filming of Foot Loose which put Lehi on the map.
He learned to speak Spanish while serving as a missionary in Los Angeles then returned to graduate from Brigham Young University with honors. He attended dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where he saw the Cornhuskers win two national championships and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Swenson applied to every school in the Chicago area hoping to be close to his beloved Cubs. He was accepted to an orthodontic residency at Northwestern University and absolutely loved Chicago and his bleacher bum friends at Wrigley Field. He was also one of the few Jazz fans in the United Center the night Utah lost to the Bulls. It was a sad moment for him.
Dr. Swenson is married and has six daughters! (recently added2 son-in-laws). He knows the lyrics to more musicals than he cares to admit and is very proficient at cleaning hair from drains. After many years of practice, he has almost mastered the ponytail for those mornings when mom needs a hand.
He and his wife Elise are glad to have settled their family in Utah where they enjoy the outdoors and the wonderful family lifestyle. Dr. Swenson loves to fly fish, camp, ski, golf, and watch baseball, but most of all he loves to give people beautiful smiles!

Robyn has worked for Swenson Orthodontics for the past 13 years. She has been married to her husband Kenny for 35 years. They have 3 daughters. She is also a grandma to 7 amazing grandsons. Her favorite places to be are with her grandsons or at the beach. She enjoys hiking, biking, riding horse and traveling with her husband. Kenny and Robyn raise bucking bulls and enjoy traveling to bull riding competitions around the western states. Her favorite things about working at Swenson Orthodontics are meeting new people, seeing old friends and making people smile!
Her family is her prized possession. She has 4 amazing children and 1 darling grandson and cant wait for more! She loves wrapping paper and ribbon. When she is not at work she likes to travel, shop and vacuum.
Joie has been with Swenson Orthodontics since 2016 after graduating from Lehi high school and finishing MTECH. She loves having fun in the outdoors going hiking or skiing which makes it perfect to be here in Utah. She is currently studying at Utah Valley University with goals to graduate from a Dental Hygiene program. She recently got married in October to her husband Mason. She loves working at Swenson Orthodontics where she can come to work in a fun loving environment and work with the best patients!
Janet started at Swenson Orthodontics in 2008. She has enjoyed marital bliss with her best friend for 27 years. They have 3 children and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, biking, projects around the house and taking her dogs on daily walks with her husband.
Sara was born and raised in Blackfoot Idaho where she honestly came by her love for potatoes. She has been with Swenson Orthodontics since 2001. Sara is a mom to 4 beautiful children and the cutest golden doodle in the world. Sara enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and time with her family. She enjoys working for Dr Swenson and loves the patients and the cute girls she works with. Heres to 18 more years at Swenson. Shell be knitting blankets in her rocking chair in the waiting room by then, but hey! She loves it here!!!!
Katie grew up in Wyoming where she began working in the dental field in 1991 as a dental assistant and receptionist.Katie started working at Swenson Orthodontics in 2000 took a break for a couple years to start a little family and then came back for more fun.She loves to laugh and have a great time working with all our awesome patients. Katie is asoccer mom and enjoys watching her sons play andspending time with family and friends.You can find Katie rocking out to90s music the louder the better!
Talia has working been at Swenson Orthodontics since 2008. She likes early morning workouts of lifting and running. When she puts her three crazy kids to bed at night you can find her watching jazz games with her husband, Jeff, and doing puzzles. Tal also enjoys hiking with her family and reading a good book. Her happy place is anywhere that includes her little tribe, sunshine, water, and warm weather!
Whitley was born and raisedin American Fork, UT. She graduated from American Fork High School in 2016 as well as MTECH where she completed the Dental AssistingProgram. Soon after graduation she started a career in the dental field working for Doctor Swenson. Whitley is currently studying at Utah Valley University in hopes to one day become a Dental Hygienist. She is the secondoldest of six children and is married to the love of her life Jake. She loves to do things with her husband and stay busy. Some of her hobbies include dirt biking, camping, hiking, boating and shopping. Her husband would also say one of her hobbies is cleaning. If she is not outdoors doing somethingshe loves, you will most likely find her spending time with her family. Whitleyloves working at Swenson Orthodontics because of the fun environment and smile transformations to gets to help create.
Cortney has worked for Dr Swenson for 4 years. She grew up in Plano, Texas and attended Ricks College (BYU-Idaho) where she met her husband, Garth. They have been married 23 years and have 4 kids. Cortney loves to travel and usually has a trip on the calendar. Her favorite vacation was to Italy. Cortney tries to find a way to embarrass her kids daily, but she may need some new material because they have become immune to her antics. Cortney loves enjoying life and thinks anytime is a good time for a dance party. She recently had to hit the purchase button for reader glasses after thinking something was in her eye for the last 6 months. Now her family jokingly call her Carl Fredricksen, the grandpa from UP.
This is Danielle, but everyone here at Swenson Orthodontics calls her Rees! She has worked here for seven years and she loves being a part of amazing smile transformations and getting to know our awesome patients! She grew up in American Fork and completed the dental assisting program at MTECH during her senior year of high school. She loves all things music. She plays the guitar, drums, piano and she sings in her church band! She also enjoys yoga, being outdoors and spending time with her husband Andrew.
Abby grew up in Oregon City, Oregon with her 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She moved to Utah at 15 where she graduated at Pleasant Grove High and attended MTECH senior year, developing her love for dental work. Abby doesnt like anything to do with the cold which explains why she got married in Cabo. She loves roads trips and traveling with her husband, Hayden, of 1 year. Their favorite places to visit are Disneyland and the beach!They love to work out and do yoga together. Abby loves working as an orthodontic assistant and looks forward to working with more patients and excelling in her career.
Kaeli was born and raised in Orem and graduated from Timpanogos High School in 2012 as well as MTECH that same year. She has been working at Swenson Orthodontics for 7 years. She has been married to her husband Austin for 2 years. She recently became a mom to her little boy Hudson and thinks being a mom is the best. Some of the things she enjoys doing are playing soccer, running, hanging out with friends and shopping. Kaeli loves that she gets to work with the best staff and patients.
