Dr. Quevedo is a native of Madison, Tennessee. He graduated from Forest Lake Academy in 1974, and from Southern Missionary College near Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1979. Dr. Quevedo attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1984. After graduation, he bought a practice in Madison, Tennessee where he practiced for 12 years. While there he served as the head of the dental department of the medical staff at Tennessee Christian Medical Center.
Dr. Quevedo is a highly accomplished and skilled dentist in the areas of preventive, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He is Invisalign certified and very adept at Sleep Dentistry with over ten years of experience placing sleep apnea devices. He is deeply committed to staying on the forefront of newer dental advancements by taking an extensive number of continuing education classes annually. He enjoys teaching other dentists about high tech topics such as dental lasers and CEREC Cad/Cam restoration. Dr. Quevedo has authored numerous articles about the latest advancements in dentistry for various dental journals and serves on the Continuing Education Board for DentalTown, the worlds largest dental online forum.
Each year Orlando Magazine asks area general dentists and specialists to nominate and then vote for the dentists in the community who they believe to be one of the top dentists. Dr. Quevedo is proud to have been selected and named as one of Orlandos Top Dentists by his peers annually since 2010.
Dr. Quevedo is a member of The Dental Society of Greater Orlando, The Central Florida District Dental Society, The Florida Dental Association, The American Dental Association, The Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, DOCS Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation, and DOSA Dental Organization for Sleep Apnea.
When he is not in the office creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Quevedo enjoys computers, electronics, photography, travel, and church activities. He also LOVES playing with his beautiful granddaughter Cylin!

I would highly recommend Sweetwater Smiles to anyone who is looking for a great dentist! The staff is especially friendly and welcoming. They really take their time to hear my concerns and what I wanted to address during my visit. The dentist takes his time to explain everything in details so you know what problems you have (and why you have them), what needs to be fix, and how they will go about fixing any issues or concerns you may have. I went in for a simple cleaning and left with more knowledge than any other dental experience before. Thank you for a great experience!

The focus is on the patient. The patient's concerns are addressed with dignity and respect. There's a concern for the patient's comfort. Every procedure is explained in plain English. Follow up care is top notch.

First of all, this is the only dentist in my area that had an opening not once but twice for urgent care. Second, they are friendly and not too talkative Originally I didn't want to make them my primary because I was told that they only take one insurance and I have dual insurance. Today the receptionist said "no problem, I'll submit the balance to your secondary insurance" I also trust him, since he said the same thing as my trusted dentist back in Cali. He also doesn't want to work on a tooth that can last longer, he's not about wasting money. I did not give 5 stars just because they've never started on time, but that is a small price to pay.

I don't usually review anything at all, but Dr. Quevedo and his office staff are the best ever. My previous dentist was nice but never took the time to explain anything to me. Dr. Quevedo pulled a chair and tried to explain everything to me and talked about a care plan. Really!! Dentist do that too!!! On my first visit at Sweetwater smile I was blown away with how nice and friendly evryone was. I wish I switched out way earlier. I am beyond satisfied with that practice. I highly recommend them.

Dishonest, avoid them if you can. Once you get on the chair they become sales people. I went for my first cleaning that my insurance covers, but they do a deep cleaning first that's not covered and then they schedule for your regular cleaning 3 months later. My son went for his first cleaning and we just got an additional bill by mail.

Staff is all extremely friendly and caring. Doctor Quevedo is really a great guy with excellent bedside manner, which you don't see in Dentists very often. I would highly recommend this practice.
