Although myths persist that cavities on baby teeth dont need to be filled because they arent permanent, childrens cavities should always be assessed by the dentist. In the event we do need to treat cavities and tooth decay, Dr. Taylor and his team are happy to offer a range of options, including naturally-colored fillings. Once applied, these fillings are virtually indistinguishable from the neighboring teeth. These fillings have several other advantages, including insulation of sensitive parts of the tooth from hot and cold.

Dentistry is my passion and I love helping my patients achieve lasting smiles. I completed my undergraduate studies and prerequisites for dental school at Utah State University (one year) and Southern Utah University (two years). In 1999, I got accepted to the University of Colorado- School of Dentistry, in Denver, Colorado, where I received my BS in Medical Sciences. I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery there in 2003.
While still attending dental school, I joined the US Navy, and upon graduation, was sworn in as a Lieutenant in the US Navy. I was sent to Pensacola, Florida by the Navy and I entered into an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) program there. Upon completion a year later, I was sent to Guam to serve my last two years aboard the USS Frank Cable (Submarine Tender). I worked as one of the three dentists onboard. Together, we took care of United States Sailors and Marines.
After two years in Guam, I searched in the Western United States for the best place to start or buy a practice that was also a great area to live in and raise a family. I, of course, settled in Rock Springs, WY. I have been able to live out my dream to own and operate a successful dental practice with latest and greatest equipment and staff here. I have been practicing in Rock Springs since June of 2006, and have loved every bit of what Rock Springs has brought to my professional life.
I have seven wonderful kids and a beautiful wife. My family has been such a support to me in my life and they always give me a reason to be motivated to excel in the profession of dentistry. They are my rock.

My husband and I are over the road truck drivers. Broke down here in Rock Springs. I had a infected tooth, called them in the morning and was seen the same day. Excellent service. The staff is awesome, so friendly and nice. The doctor is super nice and caring. I don't like dentist at all and they made me very comfortable and at ease. Would definitely have him as my regular dentist if I lived here. I will come back if I'm in the area and have another issue.

Dr. Taylor and his assistants are amazing! In the course of getting my crown and an adjoining filling fixed, they were professional, kind, and courteous. They were happy to indulge my curiosity by showing my how the CEREC process worked, answering my questions, and explaining why certain proceedings were necessary and/or made their dentistry better. Dr. Taylor is also a believer in bodily agency, and helped me work through serious childhood trauma around having my mouth propped open during dental procedures. I genuinely cannot recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Taylor's office was amazing! Everyone was super helpful and kind. Dr Taylor made getting a crown, (which normally takes weeks) the quickest, most comfortable experience I think it could be. He has a new 3D imaging and crown building machine that built my entire crown in minutes. I would highly recommend Sweetwater Dental!!

I would give 0 stars if there was such an option. I ran into the preventive treatment of the root canal, for 10 minutes, on the way to work. I could not return to work after this visit for 2 weeks!!!. At the reception for the prevention of tooth treatment. I was injected with ozone, and immediately a swelling formed under the eye. As a result, the eye was damaged. The percentage of visibility has dropped. A dangerous infection was introduced into the soft tissues. Which I am still treating (for almost a month), with a huge dose of various antibiotics, which also has a negative effect on my health. I had to go to emergency room, which is not cheap. With this type of infection, if I had not came to ER, I would have died. Now I have to treat a number of complications that arose from a simple visit to the dentist. I was completely healthy before this visit, now I am treating a whole list of complications. It should be noted the behavior of Dr. Ryan Taylor, who said that I should not go to the emergency room and probably in his opinion I should have died of infection in favor of his reputation. Lies, and refusal to give information about treatment. This is generally a crime. Where no one is responsible for dentist malpractice. The photo shows how I got out of this clinic after injection. Where they was told that this is normal, and it should be so. I went to the clinic without a tumor, and left with a tumor, infection and damaged vision, and a bunch of other complications provoked by a very strange procedure, the injection of ozone under the skin ... Won't recommend this place to anyone. Update. I did root canal there. Average root canal cost for front tooth is $600-900. Dentist said I have to pay $800. I paid $600 and wait what insurance will pay. After 1 month I got a weird bill with no name of what kind work it was for 2.5k!!!!!!!!!!! For 1 root canal, when I paid already $600 and $300 paid insurance. Have to go to court now! So tired of that place.

Dr. Taylor and his staff were very nice and the lady at the front desk worked with me on payments even though we never met before I came into the office and i'm glad that they would trust me enough to do that. Also, the work they did was really good. I never write reviews but I really appreciate what they did for me. Also, I didn't have insurance but they had a discount plan that saved me ALOT of money on my teeth and we got all the work done in a couple of months. Thank you for the great job you all did

State of the art technology made getting my front crown replaced convenient. I was in and out in one day. I can't believe how well they matched it to my already existing crown. The staff was so friendly and kind. Dr. Taylor's communication and skills are unmatched. The office itself is beautiful and peaceful.

My wife and were traveling and spending a couple of days in Rock Springs to visit the gorge. A tooth was causing a great amount of discomfort. I called Sweetwater Dental. They said they could fit me in their schedule. Dr. Taylor performed a root canal that afternoon. There was very little pain or discomfort after the procedure. My wife and I were able to enjoy our time in Rock Springs and see the gorge. The staff was helpful and professional. Dr. Taylor took time from his schedule to call me and see if everything was ok! Thanks for your help. I definitely recommend Dr. Taylor and Sweetwater Dental. Mike from Florida.

We have been with Sweetwater Dental for several years now. Dr Taylor is wonderful and pleasant and my kids are at ease with him and his staff. Jessica is always so sweet when I call or go in to set up our cleanings and appointments. I love that they care about my family.
