Dr. Margaux Grason is passionate about health and medicine, and improving her patients lives through her work. She received her undergraduate degree at University of Florida in Nutrition and also her doctorate in general dentistry. Dr. Margaux decided to go through a General Practice Residency at University of Chicago and UIC, which is how she came to Chicago and fell in love with the city. The residency gave her experience working with special needs patients with complex medical histories. Dr. Margaux decided to work as an associate at multiple practices in Chicago and in some of the close suburbs for the past twelve years. This enabled her to not only develop her skills as a general dentist, but to also mold exactly what was important to her to have in her own practice. This also gave her the opportunity to hone in on what she felt was missing in some of these other offices.
During this time she had two children-Marlowe age 7, and Gage age 5. They recently started school in the area at Catherine Cook. One of the reasons Dr. Margaux went into dentistry is because it is a profession that enables her to balance work and family.
Dr. Margaux founded Sweet Tooth because she is passionate about what she does and wanted to create a place where not only the patients were taken care of and happy, but the staff as well. She believes in treating people like she would want to be treated, which sounds simple, but doesnt happen a lot. Dr. Margaux also believes that there is no reason you cant have fun while doing what you love.
Dr. Poisson is a General Dentist that strongly believes in treating patients with compassion, respect, and integrity. She considers patient care to be customizable, understanding that no two individuals are the same. She aims to work with you to deliver the professional and comprehensive dental care that you may need.
Dr. Poisson grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, and attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She received a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and graduated with high honors, earning a Bronze Tablet. She continued her education at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, where she earned her DMD. Dr. Poisson has a passion for education and has worked as a teaching assistant in both undergraduate and dental schools. She believes that educating patients is integral to dentistry and works to keep patients actively informed throughout treatment.

This is a tough review to write, but overall my experiences with Sweet Tooth started out awesome and then declined... Dr. Grason is an excellent dentist and her bedside manner is great. The office is gorgeous and parking is easy to find. The downside to this practice is the scheduling and staffing issues. Scheduling has never been easy, but my last two scheduled appointments were canceled within weeks of each other. My first one was canceled due to a staff member being ill in the office (which is understandable). However, my latest appointment was canceled for unclear reasons with no explanation at all. Cancelations happen, but there was zero effort to reschedule as quickly as possible and no priority was given. I'm not sure if they have too many patients or if there's a transition going on in the office, but this practice has simply become unreliable.

Dr. Grason is literally a life changer! After trying multiple other dentists, doctors, chiropractors, night guards, and other treatments to alleviate migraines that have impacted me for years, her Botox treatment for TMJ eliminated my migraines. I highly recommend Dr. Grason to anyone dealing with TMJ or teeth grinding issues. She and her team are also very friendly and have created a welcoming environment.

Awesome experience! Always had TMJ issues and Dr. Grason has been the only person who has been able to provide me with a solution. My tmj Botox was painless and my jaw is feeling so much better.

This is the BEST experience I have had with dental care! The office space feels "spa-like" and the staff are incredibly accommodating with schedules. On a personal note, my TMJ symptoms have been greatly improved with the help of the doctor! Cannot imagine a better place to visit!

All of the staff at this office are so incredibly nice and take their time with you which I really appreciated! I truly don't have any real complaints to air about the office. The staff was great processing my insurance ahead of time, confirming the appt many times so I didn't forget, and also being so kind while I was there! The only comment I will make is that 2 hours is a really long time for the initial appt and I was told prior to that appt that it's that long because they like to take their time with you. I probably did 40min worth of waiting between getting XR and cleaning and cleaning and seeing dentist. All that aside though, it's 100% worth waiting for a good dentist experience!

Went in today to have an old crown replaced. Absolutely amazing experience. Dr. Grason is simply magical and has an amazing dental practice. Not only does she do great dental work, but, remains focused on the patient's understanding of the procedure, comfort during the procedure and ensures top notch quality work. The dental assistants are beyond phenomenal and the front desk is polite, knowledgeable and makes every effort to ensure the customer experience is spot on! Add the supreme customer/patient experience with the stylish, clean and comfortable office; I literally cannot think of a better place for any and all oral care maintenance! #TeamSweetTooth
