What patients first notice when they come into our practice is the thoughtfulness of our office design. With beautiful calming cool colors, amazingly comfortable chairs and a stress-reducing architectural layout, we have thought of nearly every way to help put our patients at ease. Being sweet is welcoming each and every patient of ours with a genuine smile and speaking with a tone that lets them know they are the most important piece to our practice, our patient. As our patients move through our practice and enter our operatories they see that we have done a lot of research and working with architects, interior designers, and ergonomic specialists, we have created a stress-free bubble in a sometimes stressful environment. From the moment you enter our practice until you exit our door, we strive to provide you with the sweetest dental experience.

  • Sarah, L.D.A. Dental Assistant Born and raised in Minnesota, Sarah grew up in Ham Lake near the fresh clipped grass of the Majestic Oaks golf course. At 13 she made the trek and relocated to Oak Grove. As a pretty awesome athlete her whole life, she was involved with softball, volleyball, cheerleading, and gymnastics (her favorite). As a child she always knew she wanted a career that involved helping others. Initially, she considered becoming a nurse. However, through the last couple of years in high school she learned a ton about the field of dentistry from her step-mother (who also happens to be a dental assistant) and the rest was history. Sarah went on to graduate in the accelerated Dental Assisting program with Honors at Herzing University in Crystal, MN in 2011. Over the last 3 years, Sarah has gained a great amount of knowledge and experience working for a large dental group. She knows that the dental office can sometimes be stressful so she always strives to make it a fun and comfortable experience for her patient. Sarah spends most of her spare time with her husband Chris and their cat Farley who is actually more like a dog! Whether she is spending time with her parents, learning new crochet patterns from her Grandma or enjoying Grandmas baked goods, Sarah is always up for a good conversation with pretty much anyone she meets. However, if the sun is beaming and the weather is nice, you can try your best to catch her as she is almost always rollerblading or super-duper-power-walking! I am so excited to start this journey with Dr. Hoang at his dream practice. At Sweet Tooth Dentistry we are not just a team, we are a family and anyone who comes to see us will feel right at home. We all strive to make our patients as comfortable as possible and of course make them laugh and thoroughly enjoy their dental experience. Hobbies and Interests: Watching movies and quoting every line Crocheting/Arts and Crafts Playing with her cat Farley Rollerblading Telling Jokes Fishing If She Was Not in the Dental Profession: Counselor or nurse Proudest Achievements: Graduating accelerated Dental Assisting school with honors Winning a Chipping contest at the golf course when she was 10 Marrying Chris and planning her entire wedding with hardly any help Reaching the second to highest level in gymnastics and Skipping 2 levels on the way

  • Courtney Patient Care Coordinator Growing up in the city of Ramsey, Courtney has lived in Minnesota all her life. She spent many of her summers playing competitive softball and attended Anoka High School. After graduation she continued her studies and earned a bachelors degree in Psychology with High Honors. Although she started off quite shy, Courtney ended up working at Mercy Hospital as an EKG technician working with patients. Soon she realized that she loved working with people and was pretty darn good at it. The experience of working to help patients really brought her out of her shell and steered her towards working for several large companies specializing in customer service. Her adventures into dentistry happened by chance. Courtney was looking for a change and ended up working for a large dental office in the northern suburbs where her favorite mother- in-law worked as a hygienist! She worked there for over 6 years while learning so much and honed her skills in working patients and comforting them while expertly coordinating their healthcare. Courtney spends most of her spare time with her husband, two little girls, and their dog Jack. When she gets a moment to herself you can find her refinishing furniture or continuously decorating her home. Being outside and anywhere near water is a favorite for Courtney and her family. I am so excited to work at Sweet tooth Dentistry and to work with Dr. Hoang again! He is a great dentist and a great person! He truly cares so much about his patients and their experience here. I am excited to get to know the patients and to learn even more! Hobbies and Interests: Spending time with family and friends Being outside near water Refinishing furniture Decorating Softball If She Was Not in the Dental Profession: Child therapist or renovate an old barn and become a wedding entrepreneur Proudest Achievements: Becoming a mother (the toughest job there is but worth it)! Graduating with high honors from college My family

  • Ashley Patient Care Coordinator Being a true Minnesotan since she drew her first breath, Ashley has the Uff-da spirit through and through. She actually grew up in Blaine on the same acreage that her dad was raised on and was quite the artist behind a snowmobile and four-wheeler. While attending Spring Lake Park High School, Ashley did manage to take an adventure to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with her German class. But like any real Minnesotan will tell ya, nothing beats coming home. Luckily for us, Ashley made her way to back Minnesota and began pursuing her love of art, style and fashion. Ashley honed her talents and techniques and became an expert in cosmetics while working at a local department store. If that was not enough, Ashley had the determination and desire to attend the Minneapolis Business College where she worked hard and successfully earned her degree in graphic design. Since then Ashley has worked in many different positions in which had to manage working in fast paced environments while making sure every customer was well taken care of. This ability to multitask and work well under pressure will be incredibly valuable to allow us to continue to provide exceptional care to our patients. At the end of the day, although Ashley comes to us with a wide range of experience in the workforce, the most important job she had and will ever have is being a mom. Ashley is thoughtful, kind, and eager to help all our patients with any administrative tasks that may arise. Best, hands down --dental office ever! We are living here temporarily for a year, I wish I can take them with me when we move back to VA!!! Sara is AWESOME with kids!!! She made my 6 yo feel super comfortable and notice that she took extra steps and care to not scare her with their tools! As for myself, Megan is my dental hygienist and I cannot recommend her enough!! Super gentle and takes her time to work on my teeth and listen to my concerns!!! And lastly, the Dr is superb. Very nice and honest. You can tell he knows and loves what he does! Wait time is non existent...your time is just as valuable! They have TV in all the patient rooms which is nice instead of staring at the wall like my current dental office. And the clinic is very clean and modern. 100% do not hesitate to go here!!!

LOVE this dentist office! The staff are all so nice and welcoming, Dr. Hoang is so fast and accurate in what he does and they don't make you feel awful for not being perfect with your teeth! They're easy to work with, great with available appts and just a great office overall. Sarah is the assistant that I have been working with the most and she is just sweet and she goes above and beyond to make sure that you're comfortable and satisfied with the work being completed. I also love the idea of just 1 dentist. Others I've been to I was just bounced around between dentists and I would rather just see the same person every time. I know what I'm getting in to, I know the quality of work and they get to know you! Bonus I get t on watch HGTV while they do their work in my mouth

Looking for a new dentist due to poor insurance coverage at current dentist. but this dentist won't accept xrays (less than a month old) from another office. The only way to work with this dentist is to get new xrays. Wow. No.

It was my son's 1st dental experience (4 1/2 years) and boy Meighan the hygienist was absolutely AMAZING! My son has some sensory issues and I was very impressed with how well she incorporated him in the process and starting him on a good note for his dental path. I was in the dental field for 12 years before having kiddos (so I know how appointments should be) and it was a great experience for my son. She went above and beyond to make sure my son had a great experience. I scheduled myself and my other son (3 years old) appointments. Thank you again!

I, too, almost don't want to post about them because they are such a true gem I don't want to share them. But this is for you worried parent; the one looking for that dentist who is honest and wonderful with children. I had tears of gratitude when leaving with my son. *This* was the dentist we had been looking for. Sweet front end, lovely knowledgeable dental assistants and hygienists, and an *amazing* dentist whos bedside manner is high and above any children's dentist we have seen. What a blessing. The five stars are real and very well deserved.
