Dr. Mark Sween grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Mark has been around dentistry all his life and took ownership of the practice in 2009. His special interests in dentistry include prevention, tooth colored restorations, and root canal therapy.

Heidi attended the Dental Assisting Program at North Technical College. She has 40 years of experience in dental assisting. Heidi started working at Sween Dental in 2007 and has no plans of ever leaving!

Jill started at Sween Dental in August of 2020. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Dental Hygiene. Jill has over 24 years of dental hygiene experience, including clinical work, non-profit work and teaching.

Nichole has worked in the dental field for 6 years, and started at Sween Dental in 2021. She studied allied health biology before switching to healthcare administration. Nichole works as a patient care coordinator at the front desk, taking phone calls, supporting the clinical staff, and working with insurance companies to help ensure coverage. She loves traveling to tropical destinations, swimming, and curling up at home with her animals watching horror movies.

Liz, a Minnesota native, graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with a bachelor's degree of Science in Dental Hygiene along with Restorative Functions. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know her clients and providing them with a pleasant experience while at Sween Dental. She strives to educate her clients on prevention methods to help them improve. She believes dental anxiety is a very real and common concern for people, and she will take the time to make sure her clients feel comfortable. In her free time, Liz loves spending time with her wife, son, and fur babies. These days, a adventure could be going to the grocery store, but she would prefer a trip anywhere near a ocean with temperatures over 70 degrees. She enjoys listening to podcasts that make her laugh and cry, or both! At home, she has a fondness for reading books that make her reflect on life, painting, gardening, and crafting. Her favorite place to visit would be a local coffee shop with a dear friend.
