Swati Agarwal, DDS, is an exceptional general dentist practicing in the Union Square neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Dr. Agarwal graduated from the University of California (UC) Davis with a Bachelor of Science in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior. Seeking higher education, she continued her studies at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California (USC) to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She graduated dental school on the Deans Honor List. She also received the Frank Lott Award for Removable Prosthodontics.
She is dedicated to cutting-edge continuing education, attending courses, lectures, and workshops so that she can provide advanced care for each patient. She focuses her studies on cosmetic dentistry and full-mouth rehabilitation courses. She is certified in the use of Invisalign clear aligners. Dr. Agarwal is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), the Professional Development Committee at the San Francisco Dental Society (SFDS), Spear Education, and Occlusion Design. She was on the advisory board of the San Francisco Dental Society for the 2018-2019 term, and has been installed on the board of directors for 2019-2020.
Dr. Agarwala native of the Bay Areamoved to San Francisco with her husband, where she has been in private practice for over five years. When not at the office, she enjoys cooking, baking, and eating. She is a foodie at heart.
Since 2014, Jutta has been a member of our team. She earned her bachelors degree in German Literature with minors in mass communication and early childhood development from the University of Minnesota Duluthin 1982. She also studied medical billing at Napa Valley.
Being fluent in German and English, Jutta offers friendly and professional service to her patients. She adores getting to see the changes and improvements of patient smiles. She is married to a wonderful man, is the mother of one son and has three grandchildren. When not in the office, she enjoys photography, herbal healing and hiking.

Dr. Agarwal is awesome! She has been very thorough and attentive during all of my visits, while also being down to earth yet professional at the same time. Dr. Agarwal (and Jutta!) are both great people who have provided me the best dental services. This includes GBT cleanings which very few dentists in the U.S. even offer. I drive across the Bay Area to come here and have no intention to stop - my teeth and smile have never been better. Does anyone ever look forward to their dental visits? Well, you do with these two ladies!

I have been Dr. Agarwal's patient for four years, she repaired my damaged root canals and crowns for me and the service she offers is always impecable. She explains every detail of the procedure step by step and makes you feel very comfortable. I recently got my cleaning and teeth whitening done and I am loving my new shiny teeth. The staff is very courteous, friendly very accommodative in scheduling.

Dr. Agarwal's practice is one of the best dental experiences I've had. The staff is kind and helpful and Dr. Agarwal takes time to explain every step of the visit. The office is in a great location and I would highly recommend it.

My teeth look and feel amazing. I drove 2h to see Dr. Agarwal, Bay Area's expert on ICON resin infiltration, and I'm fascinated with the results. She kindly favored the least invasive treatment, and performed it with utmost attention to detail. The office manager, Jutta, is also very sweet and helpful. Highly recommended!

First of all, going to the dentist sucks! But if I have to have a dentist (which of course I do), I'm glad it's Dr. Swati Agarwal! She's literally the best dentist I have ever had! I have been her patient for many years (through the Invisalign to my Insta-perfect smile now), and I will never go to anyone else. She's my dentist because: 1.She is passionate about being a dentist, and knows her stuff! 2.She's very patient with all my questions, and great at walking me through any procedures. 3.She's very warm and very easy to talk to, feels like my therapist at times 4.The equipment at the office is new and top of the line! 5.They are environmentally friendly; love the use of laminated forms to save paper! 6.They are great about sending reminders. 7.I love the office - it doesn't smell like a dentist's office and the art showcased is beautiful! Oh and they even have hot towels at the end, how cool is that! 8.Her staff is wonderful! Jutta at the front desk is knowledgeable and great to talk to. Highly recommend Dr. Swati Agarwal!

Great experience! I've been seeing her for 9 years and have had multiple procedures done with Dr. Agarwal. They have all been straightforward and well done. I go in every 3 months for cleanings. The guided biofilm therapy (GBT) is amazing. I have gum disease and it's really helped control it. My teeth and gums have never been this healthy! We're going to be starting Invisalign soon and I can't wait!

I've been a life long dental phobic and I work with Dr. Agarwal. It's been a struggle to allow anybody into my mouth, but having watched her with other fearful patients had made it easier for me. Patients who were previously so tense in and out, now smile when they come in. With the Airflow Guided Biofilm Therapy and her gentle demeanor I'm now not only her staff but also her patient.

I was blown away after visiting Dr. Agarwal's dental office for the first time. She took such good care of me, explaining each step of the care I would be receiving, made sure I was comfortable and was honest with any issues she saw with my dental health. Being honest and approachable is very important in your health and Dr. Agarwal went above and beyond to reach that. Dr. Agarwal such an amazing, thoughtful and professional dentist who holds her reviews by far, in very aspect.

Wow! I live in San Jose but I could never find the right DMD in my area. Dr. Agarwal was recommended to me by a friend and all I can say is "Amazing". She was friendly and sweet and got me in and out in an hr. Will definitely be my permanent DMD going forward.

Dr.Agarwal is an incredible doctor that truly listens to you, makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet her. Her practice is made up of a small but stellar team. Her receptionist Jutta is wonderful all on her own. I was having terrible migraines on a weekly basis. Dr.Agrawal diagnosed the problem as a result of teeth crowding and put me on aligners. As a result, my headaches have substantially decreased to the point where I don't get them anymore. She follows up with you regularly, is professional, and helps you find your best smile. Dr.Agarwal is by far the best DDS in the Bay Area.

I can't believe it took me this long to come see Dr. Agarwal for my dental needs. But now that I have, I will never be going to any other dentist ever again! Dr. Agarwal really took the time to walk me to each step of my dental procedure and eased my anxiety. She was very thorough and extremely professional. She was kind and welcoming. She made me feel like I was in safe hands. I was amazed at the end results of the procedure!! Highly recommend!

Awesome dentist and great support staff. Felt comfortable from the first moment I arrived until I left. I've never been to a dentist who was so patient-oriented. Most dentists seem to just care about the bottom line. Dr. Agarwal was open and honest about the work I needed on my teeth. Would recommend 100%!!! Update (4/2/2022) - Relocated, but choosing to drive 2 hours to see Dr. Agarwal. Started Invisalign with her a couple months ago and my teeth are looking amazing. Super excited to see the finished product. Getting my teeth cleaned with her new AIRFLOW GBT is so much easier than normal cleanings. No pain or discomfort, and my teeth look so much whiter! Appreciate all that you do Dr. Agarwal - keep up the great work!

Writing to share a very positive experience at the dentist using the Airflow cleaning system. In the past, teeth cleaning involved scraping the teeth with the ultrasonic device, which would produce an jolt from time to time at a few sensitive spots. Used to call this device the painstick. Then there was the polishing step with the flavored powder. I didn't like this process, but it's how it works, right? After a two year absence from dentist visits due to the 'rona, I was a bit anxious to get back in the chair for my belated cleaning. Seems technology has advanced! No more pain stick and polishing powder (a little scraping on a few tough spots, but I expect those will stop over time). The Airflow system rocks! No pain, definitely way better for the gums and between teeth. So.... check it out! It was a surprisingly good experience and I belive a much better result for both teeth and gums! Good job Dr. Agarwal

Had an amazing experience at Swati Agarwal, DDS's dental office. There was zero wait time. The service was amazing, staff was incredibly friendly and polite. Dr. Agarwal was very professional and broke down my dental health in simple terms. I didn't feel pressured in doing any treatment. Love this place and highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Argarwal when my dentist was out of town and I needed an emergency visit due to some really bad pain after a crown had been replaced. I absolutely fell in love with Dr. Argarwal, her team, the office, everything. Her and her staff are wonderful people and great at what they do. The front desk was wonderful to deal with and her dental assistant was amazing as well. She was careful and kind in her explanation of what she thought was wrong and different scenarios, and my next steps. What a great communicator. I love my dentist, but her availability and graciousness were both determining factors in trying to switch over. She is out of network for my plan, but I had such a great experience with her office that I was debating just paying the difference and still am. Thank you, Dr. Argarwal. I didn't know I could like the dentist!

Dr. Swati Agarwal was easily the most caring, diligent, and professional dentist that I have ever visited. I went for a whitening treatment on September 15, 2021, and throughout the 3-hour procedure, she was meticulous in explaining each step as she progressed through the procedure, and always making sure at every available opportunity to ensure that I was comfortable. And best of all - the procedure was a resounding success! As an avid coffee and red wine drinker, I have always had issues with unwanted coloring of my teeth. The improvement in "whiteness" of my teeth was not only easily noticeable in the before and after photos, it was actually more than I expected. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Agarwal to anyone looking for an amazing dentist in the Bay Area. And I look forward very much to my next visit - when was the last time you said that about a dentist?!

I can't begin to describe what an wonderful experience I had at SF Dental Studio. I'm not the biggest fan of dental visits, but the staff at the Studio made me feel relaxed and kept me within my comfort zone the whole time. From the moment I walked in, Jutta greeted me with a warm smile and made the paperwork process a breeze. Dr. Agrawal was extremely professional and is an AMAZING dentist. Every step of the way, she described what she was doing and what's coming next which put my mind to ease. She really knows her stuff and even provided tips and recommendations that would help protect my teeth for post visit care. Her assistant Andrea was very sweet as well and would pause to make sure I was doing okay if I had anything but a relaxed expression on my face. I don't think I can ever go to another dentist again. 12/10 would recommend.
