Dr. Swapp graduated from UNLV Dental School, where he finished summa cum laude, and was given the Deans Award for Top Academic Honors. He continued his dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry, and earned a masters degree in oral biology and orthodontics. He was awarded the Baylor Orthodontic Oscar for the best treated orthodontic case in his class.
Following his training, Dr. Swapp was asked to join the teaching faculty at Baylor, where he has published multiple orthodontic research articles. He received the Watson Award, which is given to the highest-rated research article of the year in the most prestigious orthodontic journal. Dr. Swapp is also board certified. A distinction that has only been achieved by 33% of orthodontists.
Outside of orthodontics, he enjoys spending time with family, restoring old cars, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. He and his family are active in their church and community, and are avid supporters of the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Swapp has served as a Boy Scout leader for several years, and is an Eagle Scout himself.

Wonderful and friendly staff. Very clean office. Neat little set up. My son is just starting braces so I will update my review in a month. Very affordable prices! The dentist wad super cool. They have a reward program so to speak for the kids to be able to collect coins to get gift cards which I thought was very neat. (Rylan M. Patient)

This place is truly amazing and fun! Organized, clean, quick and efficient, transparent and affordable payment plans for everyone! The BEST customer service experience! I was an adult patient here, and I'd recommend Dr. Swapp to other adults. He does clear brackets on the most visible teeth, clear plastic aligners when possible, and you don't have to come in every month. I was able to get appointments easily except for during Mansfield Spring Break. They have a lab in the office to make retainers same day as the scan, and they give you the mold so if you need a replacement you can get it made anywhere without paying for a new scan. I didn't like the first orthodontist I saw in Fort Worth so I drove 22 miles each way for my appointments here, which was easily worth it since all the dental and office staff here were honest, helpful, and kind people.

I can't say enough about how great our experience has been so far. The staff and Dr. are all so nice and accommodating. They answered every question we had with a smile and never felt rushed. They even worked us in at the end of day (when about to close) to help my son understand what was happening with his bite the day he got his braces on. The best part was my son, who DID NOT want braces, said the only reason he is ok with getting them is b/c of how funny and great Dr. Swapp is. He liked him so much...he listened to his concerns, made a plan together and now working to have perfect teeth.

Our experience with Dr. Swapp's office has been stellar so far. The staff has been friendly, always makes sure my child is comfortable, and presents information on her level. We were given pricing options upfront, convenient appointment options, and have even been worked in for a same day appointment. Kudos all around!

Dr Swapp and his staff are awesome! My daughter has a tongue thrust which she's had since she was a baby and it has caused her teeth to shift. I took her to Dr Swapp and he did everything in his power to help her with this issue before fixing her teeth. He has been so patient and friendly with us as well as very knowledgeable on what needs to be done. I recommend his office a thousand times over!!!

From the moment of my first consultation to deciding to continue as a patient, Swapp Orthodontics has been warm and welcoming and Dr. Swapp greets me by name.
