I am a 2012 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. I graduated with honors and continue to be an active member ofprofessional organizations including the Wisconsin Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Washington/Ozaukee County Dental Society.Additionally, I have been a proud member of the Slinger-Allenton Rotary Club since 2013.
Family dentistry was my chosen path in dentistry because I am passionate about working closely with families and developing lasting relationships with those patients. Dentistry is an ever-changing profession which is why I make continuing education a priority throughout the year. This allows me to continue to provide my patients with exceptional care.
When Im not in the office, I love spending quality time with my wonderful wife, Amber and our beautiful daughters, Ava and Brielle. Our goofy golden retriever, Sophie always adds fun to my days. Traveling, golfing, camping, hunting, and outdoor adventure are some of my favorite hobbies. Im a born and raised Packers fan and love sports too!
Our office is located in Slinger, WI, and we have been providing dentistry services for a long list of happy and satisfied clients. Convenience and comfort are the two hallmarks of our office. We have a state-of-the-art facility to ensure the highest quality dental care.

After my dentist, of 39 yrs. retired, I needed to find someone new. I am SO thankful I found Dr. Swanson. I appreciate his conservative approach. He is thorough, kind & professional. Hannah, is exceptional & I always love having her for my cleanings. Everyone I have come in contact with, other dentists, front desk staff & hygienists have been extremely helpful & friendly. I can't say enough great things about this place.

I have gone to this dentist my entire life, but it is time for me to look elsewhere. The last time I had a cleaning I was on the cancellation list. They called me and said they had an appointment the next morning open up, asked if it would work. I quickly adjusted my schedule and confirmed the appointment. When I showed up the place was packed. I didn't get called in until 10 minutes after my appointment time. The cleaning goes well as always, I'm just waiting for the dentist to swing by and do his checks on everything. After sitting there for 15 minutes making small talk with the hygenist, I ask them to check with the doctor as I need to get to work. After 30 minutes of just sitting in a chair I told them I was late for work and needed to leave shortly. They suggested that I just leave then without seeing the doctor, and since I was already out of time, I left. They gave me a $5 Starbucks card on my way out the door, but the audacity to call me in on a cancellation list to then CLEARLY be overbooked, take twice as long as it should, and not even see the dentist.... ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I've never had any issues with the hygenists or doctors themselves, but scheduling appointments and the waits during the appointments have just gotten worse and worse over the last 5 years or so. I grew up with Dr. Hartley and he will be dearly missed... no issues with Dr. Swanson, but I can't schedule a wildcard 2 hour dental cleaning. Please for the sake of your patients, stop overbooking yourselves.

The entire team at Swanson & Associates Family Dentistry is fantastic! My youngest son is a wiggling negotiator and Hannah seamlessly rolls through a cleaning - teaching him about her tools, allowing him to help when it is safe and keeping it light & fun. I appreciate her so much! Dr. Fodor and Dr. Strupp have great personal touches & never feel rushed even though I know they're incredibly busy. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a team with great communication, passion and care!!

The Swanson team is efficient, accommodating, knowledgeable, punctual, understanding, friendly and respectful personally and professionally. I appreciate there straightforward understandable communication. I am given time and explanations if needed; don't feel "like a number". My hygienist, Nadene, is wonderful. She is kind, patient and makes me feel relaxed as I never would have imagined sitting in a dental chair. I have been going to Swanson Family Dentistry for 15+ years and highly recommend.

Dr Swanson and his staff are amazing! From the time I walked in the door, I felt like I was a "person" and not just a patient. During my cleaning, the hygienist explained everything that she was doing, even though I'd been through the procedure many times. When Dr. Swanson did the examination, he not only explained what he was looking at that might be of concern, but also talked about a go-forward plan to make sure my smile will continue to be what I want it to be. The hygienist then reiterated the plan and also included how to accomplish what is needed by maximizing my insurance benefits as far as costs are concerned. Thank you to all!

I have been going to Swanson Family Dentistry for years. Dr. Swanson is extremely professional, personable and caring. On several occasions after having had some more extensive procedures done, Dr. Swanson has called me at home to check on my progress. Dr.Swanson explains in detail what he will be doing beforehand. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and easy to work with. I have referred several family members to the practice and they have been pleased as well. I have had regular cleanings, cavities filled and the most recent procedure was a dental implant and was pleased. Dr. Swanson has excellent outside resources available if he needs to refer a patient to another specialist for work. I would recommend Dr. Swanson and his staff without hesitation.

Great office, staff and service. We just moved to the area and this was my first appointment. Hannah did a fantastic job cleaning and taking X-rays. She was professional, efficient and nice to work with. Dr. Strupp was my dentist and I must say he was excellent. Again professional, efficient and very thorough. The front desk staff was excellent. I would highly recommend this team for your dental needs.

Swanson Family Dentistry is top notch! I have always had a great experience with them. They are extra patient with kids to ensure they do not develop a fear of the dentist.
