Dr. Terry is a lifelong resident of the Bloomington-Normal community, graduating from Normal Community High School in 1976 and Illinois Wesleyan University in 1980. Dr. Terry and his wife moved to Dallas, TX after college. After being in Dallas for a few years, Dr. Terry decided to pursue his dream of being a dentist and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1989 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Right after graduation in 1989, Dr. Terry and his family moved back to the Bloomington-Normal community for an opportunity to enter an established practice here. Since those first days, Dr. Terry has moved his office location three times and is happy to call this third and final office location home. Dr. Terry attends multiple continuing education courses every year to continually expand his knowledge base and to stay current on new trends and techniques in dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society and the McLean County Dental Society. Dr. Terry really enjoys golf playing golf, traveling to play golf and even visiting famous golf courses. He loved attending The Masters Tournament in 2014 at Augusta National. In 2012, Dr. Terry felt lucky and privileged to welcome his daughter Dr. Sarah Swanlund into practice with him.

Dr. Sarah always knew she wanted to be a dentist ever since her childhood when she would spend her days off school at her fathers office. Dr. Sarah grew up in the Bloomington-Normal community, graduating from Central Catholic High School in 2004. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008, Dr. Sarah moved to Alton, IL where she attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. In June of 2012, Dr. Sarah joined her fathers practice in Bloomington. She is honored to practice alongside her father and to serve his patients with him. Dr. Sarah is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and is the current President of the McLean County Dental Society. Dr. Sarah truly enjoys doing cosmetic dentistry and helping her patients get the smile they have always dreamed of!

Julie is our rock in the front office and joined us in 2018. She has tons of healthcare experiences in other offices throughout the years. She is the bright and cheery voice you speak to over the phone and the smiling face to first greet you as you enter the office. Julie is an insurance wizard and helps keep us all sane and on track. When not working hard for our patients, Julie is a gym rat, sometimes working out multiple times a day!! She also enjoys going camping with her family and snowmobiling trips with her husband in the winters. Julie also keeps everyone laughing all day with her quick wit and humor. She will probably make you laugh too!!!

Aliyah can do it all! She joined us in 2020 working in both the front office and the back of the office. Aliyah has years of experience in dentistry from work at an oral surgery office previously. She is quick to lend a hand wherever needed but her specialty is helping patients with financing options to make high quality dentistry fit everyones budget. She couldnt live without coffee and her favorite movie is The Parent Trap. When she isnt in the office, Aliyah loves to be outside with her German Shepard doing all the outdoor things snowmobiling, camping, fishing, boating. Aliyah really enjoys getting to know her patients and building long relationships with them.

Kerry is one of our fantastic Dental Hygienists. Kerry has been with our team since the beginning of 2015. She has 13 years experience as a Dental Hygienist, and it shows in her light touch and professional demeanor. Kerry graduated from Illinois Central College in 2008 with her degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys helping patients reach optimal oral health. Youll often find Kerry talking about her 3 small kids and their fun adventures together! She really enjoys going boating and to St. Louis Cardinals baseball games. Kerry says she loves being able to balance working as a part-time dental professional and also a stay at home mom!

Rylie is a really talented hygienist that brings a lot of fun to our group. She graduated from Parkland Community College in 2018 with a degree in Dental Hygiene.She has the most gentle touch with her patients, always great oral hygiene tips and provides wonderful education. When shes not making her patients smiles pearly white, she enjoys spending time with her pets. She especially loves to watch her cat on her Furbo machine while at work and throw her some treats. Rylie also loves reading a good book, doing some puzzles, and playing lots of card games or board games with her family members.

Julia is an extremely gentle and talented Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the Parkland College Dental Hygiene program in 2015. Julia enjoys getting to know all of her patients on a personal level and making their visits the dentist enjoyable. Julia and her husband recently purchased their first home, so when not at work, she is busy decorating and painting and making her home her own! She also enjoys crafting and reading a good book snuggled up with her dog.
