My mission in Dentistry is to provide excellent care, support, and empathy to patients of all ages. My goal is to educate my patients on the importance of their oral health and how it can contribute to their overall physical wellbeing and sense of self-confidence. I strive to establish a caring dental home where patients will come see us regularly and know that they are valued and that their comfort, trust, and happiness is of utmost importance to me and my dental team.
Dr. Ortiz completed a one-year post-doctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program through Lutheran Medical Center in Albany, NY and is a member of the American Dental Association.

Terrible place. The hygienist tried to tell me i had gum issues when my teeth are perfectly healthy, I went for a second opinion and they laughed and the doctor stated he also had a lot of patients coming from this practice with the same issue. Dr is rude and stand of ish, the hygienist ran 15 minutes late and then tried to sell me on trying to get a gum therapy scaling cleaning, she sounded like a car salesman. Front desk seemed flustered and angry at life, very unprofessional. Place seems like a disorganized mess. Trying to charge over $1,000 for a cleaning is outrageous! RUN so far. I wouldn't be surprised if they closed due to poor care for patients, lack of empathy and only care about taking your money.

Swan Lake Dental is a wonderful place the staff is excellent the Doctor there is wonderful. They treat you so nice there. The work they do in your month is wonderful. I am so happy I found that place. If you need a good dentist go there you won't be sorry.

All entire staff is kind, helpful and informative. Rees was my hygienist and she was wonderful. She was gentle and explained everything she was doing. 10/10

Stay away from this place- it's worst than the sleaziest car dealership around! I made an appointment for a regular cleaning but instead I ended up spending over 2 hours with the hygienist poking and scratching at my teeth and gums just to tell me they can't clean my teeth unless I agree to a $1800 gum treatment first. I saw a dentist 6 months ago and my gums were fine! This place will put you through unnecessary x-rays and exams just to see how much money they can get out of you. Also, don't believe their 5 star reviews, it's very obvious they are all bought reviews... I just wish I read them before I made my appointment and spent 2 hours just to get nothing done!

So I was looking to change over to a young new updated dentist office. Swan Lake Dental in Oxford came up in my search. Dr Alexis and her staff were everything thing I was looking for & more. I have a lot of work that is needed. And I am not worried at all. I know that I am in "great" hands.

Dr. Alexis worked on me with Cass(Cassandra) assisting and they were the absolute best! So gentle, consistently asking if I was uncomfortable. Front desk were so sweet !

Worst dental office ever. My husband and I had a terrible experience. The girl Jessica, has no clue how to handle billing, the two girls up front always seem miserable. Not friendly, the Dr Alexis was stand off ish and very rude, seemed more interested in my money than helping me. If you want a proposal of treatment that's always $6,000 or more go here, but if not don't waste your time, go somewhere else.
