I then attended the University of Georgia for my undergraduate degree and the Medical College of Georgia for dental school. Over the years, my family and I visited my grandparents often here in Greenville, and we watched the area grow and transform into the vibrant, wonderful place it is today.
Upon graduating from dental school in 2004, I moved back to Greenville. A few years later, I rekindled a long-distance relationship with my high-school sweetheart, Claire. We now live near Cleveland Park with our daughter and son.
To offer my patients top-notch dental care, continuing education is important to stay on top of new advances in the field. Networking with other dentists around the country is also beneficial to learn from others successes and challenges.
At the start of my career, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work in a well-established practice in Simpsonville. The dentist who founded that practice took another younger dentist and me under his wing, and what an amazing gift that was. We learned so much from himabout dentistry, running an office, and building long-lasting patient relationships. When he retired, we co-owned that practice for the last 15 years, but I always knew I wanted to open a practice of my own here in Greenville.
Outside the office, I enjoy mountain biking, tennis, Georgia Bulldogs football, woodworking, and gardening. But I have always been intrigued by health studies and science. Dentistry is the perfect blend of science and artand yet, instead of being tucked away in the solitude of some lab, I get to enjoy the company of my patients and staff.
Our office was built during the pandemic, which allowed us to incorporate updated CDC Guidance for Dental Settings regarding airflow patterns. Specifically, our HVAC ductwork includes air returns in each treatment and hygiene room. Our return air is then purified, with 99% effectiveness in trapping germs and viruses. Our return air is also disinfected with UV-C germicidal lamps.

Outside the office, Dr. Alexander enjoys mountain biking, gardening (you might say he is obsessed with hot peppers), exploring the mountains, and woodworking. He has always had a knack for working with his hands and is very detail-oriented, making dentistry an excellent professional fit.

Dr. Parks B. Alexander did an absolutely amazing job and my crown looks better and more natural than my original tooth! And I walked out with it the same day they worked on it. Swamp Rabbit dental was perfect for all my dental needs. My assistant Kim was extremely friendly and made the process super smooth. Great facility and great people with a very clean environment. I am not a fan of the dentist but it was pain free. I highly recommend!

I lost a filling in my front tooth and Dr. Alexander could get me in first thing in the morning. My old dentist had told me that she couldn't fix the filling then it would have to be crowned. Well I had a brand new filling put in and it looks like the tooth never even had one. Such fantastic work by Dr. Alexander. On the other hand, Kim, the dental hygienist was absolutely phenomenal. I had a hip replacement eight months ago and totally forgot that you should take antibiotics when you have any kind of procedures at the dentist. She picked right up on it and took care of me. Plus she was just charming, most pleasant, and made me feel very comfortable. I can't recommend them more!

Swamp Rabbit Dental is the best dentist atmosphere, that I've experienced. Dr. Alexander is professional and friendly. He put a crown in, and it looks natural. Kim and Juli are amazing! They have a great sense of humor, and are fun to be around. I actually looked forward to going to the dentist this morning. Who can say that? Juli is an expert at her craft. She has cleaned my teeth twice, and both times have been pleasant. She has been a dental hygienist for many years, and you can tell by her sharp tool placement. I didn't get poked once. Claire was very helpful, when it comes to explaining the cost breakdown. Lisa was great to work with, when scheduling my next appointment.

I was referred to Swamp Rabbit Dental by one of the office staff members (Kim Wilson). So glad I came in to get a lower bridge done. The staff was friendly and professional. Even when there was a problem with my dental insurance, the staff at Swamp Rabbit Dental went above and beyond to assist me. I will recommend you check them out. You won't be disappointed.

They are absolutely amazing! They work with you and give you many options! Judge free zone without a doubt which is hard to find! I've been to a lot of dentist over the years and I'm so glad to say this is one does TRULEY care for you! He has years of experience in the Greenville/Simpsonville area and is opening a new practice right off the swamp rabbit trail!! Dr. Alexander has been my Dentist for the better part of a decade. His staff is incredibly professional and I always feel like I'm visiting friends when I have an appointment. I met Dr. Alexander after another local Dentist tried to tell me I needed five fillings replaced immediately, which was incredibly expensive. Dr. Alexander helped me maximize my insurance benefits by spacing the procedures out over several years. He evaluated which fillings needed to be done first and kept an eye on all of them to prevent any rapid deterioration. It's nice to have someone more interested in your needs than selling you as much as possible.

I do not normally write reviews, but Dr. Alexander has been my dentist for 9 years and I'm so happy he is relocating close to my house! Finding the right dentist can be hard, so I would follow him anywhere. I know I can trust what he says with respect to the health of my teeth. He would never try to push anything on me that I don't truly need. I would recommend Dr. Alexander to anyone who is looking for a great dentist who will 100% have your best interest at heart!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Alexander and his office staff. They provide exceptional care and are so welcoming. They never try to push you into a treatment you don't need and go above and beyond to explain things clearly. The new office is bright and cheerful and I feel incredibly safe there due to the state of the art ventilation system they have installed. The building was designed around the newest recommendations and guidelines from the CDC regarding air filtration. Most existing offices were not able to achieve this standard by simply up-fitting their existing systems.
