Dr. Clifford Salm is a graduate of the Horace Mann School and received his B.S. in Biology cum laude from Tufts University. He went on to receive his D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1977 where he also received the class award for excellence from theAmerican Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Subsequently he completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and returned to New York to enter private practice and became one of the youngest to become Board Certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
He has been a clinical instructor in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at NYU School of Dentistry and Mt. Sinai Hospital. Dr. Salm is one of the founders and a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration a premier organization for advancement of the science of dental implants. He is also a former General Chairman of the Greater New York Dental Meeting, the largest dental congress in the United States where he continues to contribute as a clinician and on the Advisory Committee.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, New York Academy of Dentistry, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Dental Society of the State of New York and New York County Dental Society. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Salm prides himself on his easy going bedside manner and ability to calm his patients if in a stressful situation. He enjoys tennis and swimming and his family during leisure hours. His son Adam Salm is also a dentist in Manhattan.
Dr. Bobby Zargari is a respected Maxillofacial and Oral Surgeon in NYC with extensive clinical and academic credentials. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from St. Johns University and graduated in the top three in his class at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine to earn his DMD.
Bobby has achieved recognition and many academic distinctions including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award; acceptance into the Matthew B. Cryer Honor Society; and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. He completed his Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical Center, and during his training he served as Chief Resident in his final year and he was presented with the Distinguished House Staff Award, which is given to only a few select doctors in the hospital.
Dr. Zargari is an Assistant Professor at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and takes an active role in training the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residents. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the New York Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Zargari is passionate about dentistry and believes in a team approach. He takes great pride in his work and developing relationships with his patients and referring doctors. He continues to expand his knowledge and expertise in oral surgery by attending continuing education seminars and reviewing new publications.
Bobby grew up in Great Neck, New York and resides there with his wife, Melissa and their children, Tyler, Victoria, and Mason. When he is not working or spending time with his family, Bobby enjoys swimming, racquetball, and lacrosse.
Dr. Keith Lustman is a well trained and highly regarded Maxillofacial and Oral Surgeon in NYC recruited to our practice after he completed his Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Campus. Before his career in oral surgery, Keith graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Yeshiva University and with Honors from the University of Toronto, School of Dental Medicine to earn his DDS.
Keith completed a General Dental Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He studied all aspects of dentistry including periodontal surgery, implant restoration, and endodontic therapy at the post-graduate level. This experience has given him a unique perspective in communicating with both restorative dentists and other dental specialists on caring for patients and optimizing treatment plans. He was then offered a grant to continue the research he had begun at these centers as a Clinical Research Fellow at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, where he participated in several projects and papers that have been submitted for peer review and publication.
Keith is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and a candidate for board certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

The absolute best Oral Surgeon in the NJ/NY area. Do not waste your time going anywhere else. Dr. Lustman radiates with comfort, compassion and knowledge in his field. He is patient with you and explains everything to the last detail till your comfortable to proceed. Got two wisdom teeth extracted and it was a fantastic job done. On day 2 of recovery I have absolutely no pain at all just some swelling which is expected. Dr. Lustman fully puts his heart into every patient that comes his way. We truly need more Doctors like him. Also great and clean facility with excellent dental assistants, couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Lustman is truly the best. I am terrified of any procedures related to my teeth, as most of us are, but he is friendly, quick and HE LISTENS ! He won't just try to tell you he knows better because he is a doctor. He will give you good advice and follow your lead. I have 3 teeth pulled by him, and each time has been very quick and as pain free as can be expected. I also did this with only novacaine and still felt pretty comfortable. I can't recommend him enough!!!

I was recently referred to Dr. Lustman of SZ&L for a fractured tooth that needed to be extracted because of an infection that had developed. I have extreme phobia's about dentistry and have never had a good experience. So needless to say I was very anxious when I arrived. That all changed when I stepped through the door at SZ&L. The front desk is extremely courteous and thorough with all of the paperwork, there was no wait time, and they couldn't be more accommodating. Dr. Lustman is a gentleman, he took his time explaining the procedure and what I should expect. As he extracted the tooth he was talking to me and joking in the the most soothing manner that I almost forgot that I was in a dental chair. The man is an expert at his craft. He is understanding, compassionate, and gentle with his touch. Being in the health field myself I rarely see this kind of attention anymore, so I appreciate the fact that he goes back to the days of yesteryear to make you feel comfortable. Additionally, the office environment is state of the art, as you get to pick whatever music you like during your treatment visit, and then he instantly explains to you what was performed on a computer monitor that is in front of you. His assistants are wonderful as well. They explained to me what needed to be done for ongoing care to help me recover faster. If you need an Oral Surgeon, look no further, this is by far the best place I have ever went to for dental work. Thank you Dr. Lustman and thanks to the staff at SZ&L. Well done!
