I graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Icompleted myspecialty training in pediatric dentistry at Riley Childrens Hospital. Iwas awarded the McDonald Excellence Honor at the completion of myresidency and was an honor graduate in the top 10% of myclass. I amspecially trained how to best handle all children, children with special needs, children with complicated medical conditions, and the many children who have dental anxiety!
I see that my primary role is to present the preventive dental health information to keep our children healthly, but Iam prepared to provide the necessary treatment when needed and lead our children to adulthood with no additional dental disease.
I a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Indiana Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Kentucky Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, NortonsChildrens Hospital Medical Staff.
I joined Dr. Swains team in February of 2021. I graduated from Medquest College in November of 2020 with my certificate in dental assisting and EDDA. I also completed additional training at theUniversity of Kentucky, for coronal polishing and preventive dental patient care. One of the many things I love about my job is getting to interact with the patients and their families to educate them on good dental health. It is so rewarding to be involved with helping the child stay dentally healthy. I was born and raised in Louisville, KY. Some things that I like to do outside of work are dance, spend time with family and travel.
I graduated from ATA College December 2021 with a certification in Dental Assisting and will continue my education. I enjoyhow unique each child is. It is rewarding to teach them proper daily dental care in a way they will learn, understand, and be excited to brush, floss and imrpove their dental and total health. I enjoy music and learning to play new instruments with my three boys. I love to get out and enjoy life with my children and experience new things in life.
I graduated from ATA College in 2019 with a certificate in Dental Assisting and EDDA. I started here, at Just Kids shortly after completing my dental assisting course. I love the kid friendly environment and all the smiles we see come through our door everyday. I enjoy getting to know the kids and helping them overcome their dental fears with a comfortable and positiveexperience. I am a Kentucky fan, GO CATS! I enjoy spending time with my dog and family. I love to travel and love being by the water at the lake or beach.

Dr. Swain and his staff are definitely in tune to what your child needs are. Very sweet, very welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do! We are lucky to have him and his team as our child's dentist.

If your child is scared to death to go to the dentist this is your dentist. This dentist is absolutely amazing not to mention his staff in one person particular Miss Kay she was amazing to my daughter, Amber loves Miss Kay and I love that. I was not able to go with her and my husband to their appointment today but she was so excited and so happy and so looking forward to going back to her next visit. If you want to be comfortable and not have anxiety and fear of taking your child to a dentist this is the dentist you need to go see they take their time they let your kids know that your kids are in control it's just a great place for kids to go to Have their teeth worked on. If I could give this place 10 Stars I would give them 11

If your child is scared to death to go to the dentist this is your dentist. I'm very grateful to Dr Swain for the dental work he has done for my son!! My son has ADHD and is very hypersensitive - he has always disliked the dentist office. From the time he was baby he has had to be held down because he fights even getting his teeth cleaned. BUT that all changed when we went to see DR. Swain and his staff. Dr. Swain took the time to get to know my son. He let him know he was the one in control! My son had to have a tooth extracted and I was so worried he was going to have another bad dentist office experience where staff had to hold him down. His procedure went great- My son didn't get upset once! Dr. Swain and his staff took their time and explained what they were doing each step of the way. I couldn't believe how amazing he is- he is a child whisperer!

Her previous visits to other dentists have been disasterous... she has a terrible gag reflex and can not bear anything in her mouth. From the first visit he has skilfully gained her confidence and helped her overcome her phobia. Today he pulled two teeth and filled one. She went through the procedure without the usual trauma! This is a breakthrough I highly recommend Dr Swain for your child!
