Dr. Theresa Smith is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up right here on the Main Line. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University, she went on to Georgetown Dental School and received her dental degree in 1986. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Einstein Medical Center where she gained more advanced training and valuable experiences in all the subspecialties of dentistry.

Dr. Smith is highly interested in continuing education in order to expand her professional knowledge. She has completed the core curriculum at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental studies, and continues to learn all she can about the newest and latest techniques in the ever-changing field of dentistry. She is also considered one of the Top Dentists in Main Line Today magazine for multiple years in a row.

Dr. Smith has been practicing dentistry for more than 25 years and loves welcoming and meeting all new patients into the SV Dental family. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Main Line Dental Society.Dr. Smith is a proud member of the Community Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) staff in West Chester. CVIM provides dentistry for those most in need in our community.In herfree time Dr. Smithenjoys cooking, baking, running, reading, and traveling to new places.

Dr. Carlos Vila was born in Venezuela and has lived in the United States since the age of two. He is fluent in Spanish as well as English, and welcomes the community's spanish speaking patients.He received a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from Oral Roberts University in 1982. He then attended Georgetown Dental School and graduated among the top of his class in 1986. After completing his General Practice Residency at Tufts University Dental School, he settled in the Main Line area in 1988, and has lived and practiced here since then.

Dr. Vila is an active member in the national and local dental community. His membership in the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Academy of Stomatology is evidence of his commitment to continuing education and to providing first-rate care for his patients. Respected by his colleagues, Dr. Vila is the 2005 past president of the Main Line Dental Society. He has also been one of the Top Dentists in Main Line Today magazine for multiple years.

Chris received a Bachelors degree in business finance from The State University of New York at New Paltz in 1995. In 2002, she moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family and started working as a dental receptionist. Chris started working for SV Dental Associates in 2010 as a receptionist and quickly became a part of our hardworking team. She loves to make people smile, and her financial knowledge has been a great asset.

Chris enjoys being able to spend time with her sister, brother-in-law, and two nephews. Outside of work she likes to travel, make jewelry, hike, and read. The thing that makes her smile most is going ballroom dancing.

Marlene is a 1998 graduate of Montgomery County CommunityCollege with an Associate in Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. With more than 30 years in the dental field, Marlenes wisdom and experience enables her to provide patients with exceptional care and the healthiest oral hygiene. She has been with SV Dental Associates since 2003, and in that time, has built wonderful relationships with her patients.

Mindy has been a great addition to our team, having worked for many years in all areas of administration before joining SV Dental. Her role consists of making patient calls, scheduling, treatment planning, marketing, and handling our patients billing and financials. She is great at helping patients take advantage of all their dental insurance benefits. Mindy loves our offices teamwork, our great attitudes, and everyones bright smiles!

Mindy is a life-long resident of Chester County, and currently lives in Chester Springs. Mindy loves going to the beach, taking care of her dog Nina and spending as much time as possible with her children friends and family as she can.

Anna grew up in a large Italian family in North Jersey. Her interest in dentistry began when she worked as a teenager in her father's dental practice. Anna is a 1987 graduate of Bergan County Community College, where she obtained her associates degree in Allied Health. She has been practicing as a dental hygienist for 35 years now. She enjoys working with her patients, helping them to achieve and maintain happy and healthy smiles.

Bonnie has been a dental assistant for over 20 years. She graduated from National Health Technologies School for her dental assisting degree. She also receive an associates degree from Community College of Philadelphia. She finds it rewarding working with the Doctors and helping patients with their oral health care.

In her free time she enjoys exercising and a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys traveling especially to the shore and fine dining. She and her boyfriend love football and have seasons tickets for the Eagles. The rest of her time is spent with her mother and sister.
