Dr. Takahiro Suzuki graduated from dental school with Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in Japan in 1998. He then pursed a research field in dental science leading to his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. At the same time he completed an oral surgery residency and became a diplomate of the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
In 2008, Dr. Suzuki came to the United States for a research opportunity at Columbia University in New York City. He decided to follow his wifes footsteps and attend dental school at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Dr. Hiroko Suzuki graduated from dental school in Japan in 2001 as the salutatorian. Following graduation, she earned PhD in dental science as well as completed a pediatric dentistry residency and became a diplomate of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
She spent a few years working as a dentist at a university hospital and several dental clinics before she decided to earn her second DDS in the United States and attend Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at University of Southern California. After she spent some time working as an associate dentist, she opened up a practice with her husband.
