Dr. Lee grew up in Leelanau County and graduated from Glen Lake High School. After high school, she attended the University of Michigan, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. Dr. Lee received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated at the top of her class.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Lee practiced in a Federally Qualified Health Center in Traverse City with a focus on treating underserved patient populations. Dr. Lee gained experience in all areas of dentistry while expanding her expertise by being active in the local dental society and continuing education.
Dr. Steve Hall was born and raised here in Northern Michigan. After graduating with degrees in biology and chemistry from Central Michigan University, he continued his education at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry. During his dental training Dr. Hall received two research fellowships through the American Academy of Dental Research and focused on cancer cell growth.
Dr. Hall was commissioned a lieutenant in the US Navy and finished a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Parris Island Marine Corps Base in South Carolina and followed this training at Atsugi Naval Air Facility in Japan. During these four years Dr. Hall completed over 300 hours of continuing education, a commitment he continues to keep.
Dr. Hall is on staff at Munson Medical Center where he performs general dentistry in an operating room setting. He is also a member of the Suttons Bay Rotary Club and past president of the Suttons Bay Board of Education on which he served for 17 years. He and his wife Margaret reside in Suttons Bay and have three children, Madeline, Fred and Amelia, as well as three Rotary exchange student daughters, Augustine, Kristine, and Maja.

My appointment was for a cleaning. In the past I asked for the water or plastic instrument which caused must less irritation for me. This hygienist argued with me, finally consented to use the plastic, then continued to complain that this was not the right tool. This was only interrupted by her repeated lectures on flossing and the evils of sugar. All in all, she did a good job, but not a pleasant hour and 1/2.
