Dr. Adams and Dr. Sutherland and their fantastic team are very happy to introduce themselves to you. They are always taking new patients and will take care of your dental needs while walking you through the whole treatment plan process so you leave knowing we have your best interest in mind.
Dr. Adams was born and raised in the Westbank. He graduated from Archbishop Shaw High school in '73 and then went on to graduate from LSU School of Dentistry in '82. He served briefly in an assiociateship for three years before opening up his own practice in 1986. He is a true outdoorsman and traveller who has visted over twenty different countries. Dr. Adams is very excited about Dr. Sutherland joining the practice and knows that this will be a strong team that will continue to serve Gretna for many more years to come.
Dr. Sutherland grew up in Metairie before moving to Alabama for High School. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and went on to graduate from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Since finishing school, he served three years in the AIr Force as a dentist. He was stationed at Bolling AFB (Washington D.C.) and Lajes AFB (Azores, Portugal). He recently joined the practice with Dr. Adams and they are both very eager to make this new team a huge success!
Our ladies are phenomenal. BJ and Sonia take care of the front desk and overall daily operations to ensure your visit is smooth and relaxing. We have our three Hygienists, Melinda, Nikolette and Rachel, who work incredibly hard to ensure your smile stays looking fabulous. Our dental assistants, Shannon and Mandee, along with all the wonder women of the office are a great reason to come to Gretna to check us out.

Dentists retire, but our teeth don't, so I'm lucky to have found Dr. S. the FANTASTIC staff in a another hidden gem of Gretna.

Dr. Adams and his team were amazing. I was really nervous coming into the office for my first time, but everyone was so friendly and Dr. Adams explained everything and was so patient and informative. Overall, it was a great first impression and I look forward to returning!

I absolutely love Doc Sutherland and all of his staff! I go in for myself and my 3 daughters (ages 3, 7, 10) and the staff is always friendly and eager to see us. It feels like we're visiting with family when we go. Sutherland will not do anything that is not completely necessary, he actually wants to save you money. I cannot speak highly enough of them!

They brought me in with little notice to get a canine tooth pulled. Dr. Sutherland had a rough pull but got it done with very little pain. I even made arrangements to get more work done soon and a bridge for my lower jaw. Using the Credit Care to pay for it. Very reasonable prices and terms to get that extra more expensive work done with little or no money down. Reccomend them to anybody who needs great dental work done at low cost and special financing to help with more expensive work. Great people.

Surherland Family Dental is such a great dental clinic! We had such a pleasant experience. My dad needed dentures and Dr. Sutherland made him feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. He was so meticulous, friendly, and knowledgeable. My dad also has limited English proficiency and Dr. Sutherland was very patient in communicating with him. We are very happy with the outcome. The dentures look great and very natural and the staff was amazing.

Extremely awesome staff! I come from Michoud (right by Slidell,La) & it's worth the travel. Ive gotten a lot of work done here. Most recently I chipped my tooth in the front. Ended up getting a cavity fixed as well. I appreciate all the work Dr. Dannon & his team has done to keep me smiling!
