Dentistry is both an art and science, I love them both. For me it is a passion not a job. Dentistry is evolving very fast and there is so much research, technology and knowledge to acquire, the minimum number of credits required by the board of dentistry does not even begin to cover it! I believe in being the best and the most knowledgeable in my profession and that is why I take continuing education well beyond what is required by the state law.
Dr. Susan Partovi graduated school with honor from the University Of Maryland Dental School in 1991. She has been in private practice since graduating from dental school with keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Health. She aspires for excellence in dentistry through commitment to continuing education and keeping abreast of the cutting edge techniques and treatment advances. She has been chosen as one of the top dentists in America by the Consumer Research Council of America.
Dr. Partovi is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry which is an award presented to only those dentist who seek to provide the highest quality of dental care through education beyond what is necessary for licensure.
Dr. Partovi has been consistently providing free services to the under privileged population outside of her practice through different organizations such as Montgomery Volunteer Dental Clinic, and Maryland Foundation of Dentistry for Handicapped Patients.

I had called Dr Partovi's office for a specific issue of my son's teeth (impacted tooth) and after confirming that they can handle it, I visited their clinic and then they said you need to see an orthodontist. Plus their charge is very high. Charged me $56 for a fluoride coating, which was done by my previous dentist at $25. In addition they sent an additional bill of $52, saying it's not covered, where as during service they said it's covered. So overall a very bad experience with this visit. Would never visit again and would never recommend anyone to go there.

I went for my twice yearly cleaning and check-up and received excellent care as always. Everyone in the office is very friendly and professional. Dr. Partovi does excellent work and will let you know if you need work done as soon as possible or it can wait for a while. I have been going to Dr. Partovi for many years and have never had a problem with any of the dental work that she has done. I would highly recommend Dr. Partovi.

Wonderful Invisalign and on-going care: I've been a patient of Dr. Partovi's for 20+ years, and she and her staff have taken wonderful care of my family and me over the years. Last year, I decided to invest in a prettier smile, and Dr. Partovi guided me through many different alternatives. We ended up deciding on Invisalign and veneers. I was a little nervous about it at my "adult" stage in life, I must admit! The Invisalign ended up being such a simple additional to my daily life, and when the 15 weeks were finished, I couldn't believe the difference it made. Afterward, Dr. Partovi made my veneers - she is a true artist and perfectionist when it comes to cosmetic work! I am *extremely* happy with the results, and I am so thankful that I took the plunge.

Really? I don't believe many people gave this clinic 5 starts! I am a new patient to this clinic. This morning, I just planned to do a teeth cleaning, but they charged me $375 without letting me know before doing it! I told them I didn't want x-ray, I just want to clean my teeth, but they insisted. I don't see why x-ray has anything to do with teeth cleaning. And they then took photos, these stupid photos and x-ray took me about 200 bucks, but no one told me that! Yes, finally I paid half of it $375, that was because I had a discount plan. I am sorry, it's true, I am not liying.

I've been a patient of Dr. Partovi for nearly 15 years (since I was in high school). I cannot recommend her highly enough. Dr. Partovi is warm, professional, and always takes time to explain the risks and benefits any procedure. Over the years, I've undergone many dental procedures (cleanings, cavities, root canals, crowns, inlays, Philips Zoom teeth whitening, Invisalign, and Lumineers). Dr. Partovi takes my super-sensitive teeth into consideration at every appointment, and always checks to ensure my comfort. I needed Invisalign to correct a bite issue which resulted in chipped teeth, and decided to get Lumineers on my 4 front top teeth to restore my smile to its pre-chipped beauty. My Lumineers look AMAZING and completely natural. I LOVE them. Prior to getting Lumineers, Dr. Partovi suggested a whitening treatment. I was hesitant because my teeth are INCREDIBLY sensitive (I cannot use white-strips, and had a horrific experience with hour-long in-office whitening at a different dentist). She assured me that Philips Zoom would not hurt, and she was correct. I'm glad to have my teeth a few shades lighter to make the most of my new smile. Also, Dr. Partovi's staff, including her longtime front-desk administrator (Mary) are warm and welcoming. Mary always remembers and inquires about the details of my life, and always works with my schedule so that I am able to be seen at convenient times. TL;DR: Dr. Partovi and her staff are WONDERFUL and I highly recommend them for any dental procedure, including cleanings, cavities, root canals, crowns, inlays, Philips Zoom teeth whitening, Invisalign, and Lumineers.

It was always an EXCELLENT and COMFORTABLE exerience to visit Dr. Partovi's office. From Mary at the front door to Lilly, Doctor's dental hygienist, to, and ESPECIALLY, the Doctor herself, there was a spirit of cordiality and a clear focus on the importance of perfection. And leaving the office, as on entering, Mary is amazing!!! She is welcoming and TOTALLY efficient. Not only is she EXTRAORDINAY in performing her office responsibilities, she is equally so in handing phone calls. As one who has, for 25 years, given leadership to a DC health care organization providing care to the underserved, my every visit to Dr. Partovi's office, gives me new experience on the wonderful value of effective and efficient customer service.
