Dr. Susan is an international speakerin the area of total health, the oral health and systemic health connection, and the diabetes epidemic in America. She also speaks in the areas of leadership, team-building, advanced case planning and acceptance, relationship-based target marketing, and growing healthy kids in your dental practice.
When Susan is not practicing dentistry she serves as a leader in helping her profession take their place in the U.S. health crisis. To help educate the public on the mouth-body health connection, Dr. Susan authored the bookBlabberMouth! 77 Secrets Only Your Mouth Can Tell You To Live a Healthier, Happier, Sexier Life.In addition, she is the co-researcher in anaward-winning study on detecting diabetes in your dentists office.
With all of her work in advanced dental restoration, Dr. Susan has never outgrown her love for working with children. She is the author and originator of theHands-On Learning LabKit for children and is recognized nationally for making a significant difference in childrens oral and physical health.
Susan feels it is also important to give back to our community. Dr. Susan and her team donate their time and care for people who are vulnerable, disabled, medically compromised or financially distraught. She is eager to speak before services organizations or promote childrens health with hands-on learning in our schools.
In addition, she writes a monthly dental column inHealthy and Fit Magazineand is published in several nationally recognized dental journals includingDental Economicsand theJournal of the Michigan Dental Association.
In 1999, Dr. Susan was recognized as a leader in professional ethics and was tapped into the honorary society of theAmerican College of Dentists. She also participates in the ethics and practice management curriculums at theUniversity Of Michigan School Of Dentistry.
Dr. Tracey Epley is a 2000 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a 2004 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She also received her Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and pursued one year of intensive training in prosthodontics at Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio.
In her spare time, Dr. Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband Sam and their daughters Lilah, Madeleine, and Samantha. A music lover, Dr. Tracey enjoys harmonizing with her daughters in the car, having dance parties in the kitchen, and singing her daughters to sleep at night. She also enjoys cooking and reading.
Dr. Tracey is a member in good standing of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, American Association of Physiological Medicine & Dentistry, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Central District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Away from the office, you will find Jean and her husband Jim enjoying the roles of mom and dad to children Landon and Amelia, and hanging with family and friends when she can. She is trying her hand at gardening both flowers and vegetables, and she enjoys cooking, crafts, exercising, and a good beer or going wine tasting. She loves to travel and her favorite places to frequent are the family getaways on Fife Lake and Higgins Lake.
Georgette has been a hygienist since 1993 and has been with Susan since 1994. Georgette says, 'It is truly an honor and a privilege that I am extremely grateful for. I have learned so much from Susan that has fostered growth in my professional career, as well as in my personal life. I am proud to be a part of such an elite team of professionals that expedites the growth and potential of each individual patient into life changing behaviors. The outcomes are amazing!'
Georgette has such a passion for the individual connections and friendships she has with each of her patients. I look forward to picking up where we last left off and moving mountains with them!'
Away from work, Georgette's otherfull timejob is actively raising her two fabulous children with her husband. She enjoys gardening, decorating, volunteer work, cruising with her husband in their '56 t-bird, and oh yes....shoes!
Molly is our Marketing and Financial Coordinator. She is a graduate of Michigan State University, and received her bachelors degree from The School of Hospitality Business. She also has her MBA from Northwood Universitys prestigious DeVos School of Business Management.
Molly has been one of Susans patients since she was 4 years old and joined our team in 2013. I love being able to leverage my previous business experience for the benefit of the practice, and working with such awesome women. We are SO much more than just teeth!
She thrives on helping her patients feel listened to and comfortable moving toward their own personal health goals. 'Being able to connect with my patients on a deeper levelto truly help them achieve total health is powerful. Tori started her career in dentistry in 2003. Tori received her education from Washtenaw Community College, Lansing Community College and Ferris State University. Tori is a Registered Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant and Certified Orthodontic Assistant. In addition to her position at our office she also serves on the board of the Michigan Dental Assistants Association, Central District Dental Assistants Society, the Lansing Community College Dental Hygiene Advisory Board and Michigan Dental Foundation Mission of Mercy Board. In short, shes a big dental nerd!
Tori loves our mission of treating every person with integrity respect and kindness! She realizes the dental office is not always someones favorite place to be but loves that when patients walk into our office, we treat them as family and make it our priority to help them obtain all of their health goals.
In her free time, she is raising two amazing children, Jalen and Jada. You can catch her on the sidelines of a soccer, lacrosse or a golf outing. She also enjoys traveling, visiting breweries and crafting with her cricut!
