Dr. Susan Ellison graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. She was nominated and accepted into the Mu Mu Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for her character and achievements in academics in dental school. She has been practicing in Houston for over 30 years and Dr. Ellison has been serving the community and families with exceptional dental care and customer service ever since.
She attended the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Key Biscayne, Florida and completed extensive advanced training at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where she was trained in the most advanced techniques for Cosmetic Veneers, Occlusion, and Full Mouth Reconstruction.
Dr. Ellison has one lovely daughter in college and loves visiting and going to their football games. College sports are so much fun for her. She also loves being outdoors running, exercising, skiing and going to the beach or the mountains and has even run several Houston marathons over the years. She loves her work and her family and friends and is committed to overall health and wellbeing, always striving for herself and others to be the best they can be.
Gloria obtained her Bachelor of Dental of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2017 at The University of Texas, School of Dentistry at Houston. She has been with Susan Ellison Dentistry and Cosmetics since 2018 as our Dental Hygienist.
Gloria is an extremely talented patient educator and very passionate about helping people understand the importance of oral health. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is the service to the community, helping each and every patient maintain a healthy and balanced oral hygiene routine.
Gloria is married and has three children; a pair of twin daughters age 16, and a 4-year-old boy. She enjoys sharing all her free time with her family, cheering on her daughters at sport events and playing hide and seek with her son.
Merdan started his career in the dental field in 2008. His passion and enthusiasm for providing excellent dental care are so strong, its infectious! His expertise comes from his formal training and years of being a dentist in Turkmenistan and Russia. Now, living here in the US, Merdan is passionate about being a dental assistant and continuing his training to become a licensed Dentist in the state of Texas.
My name is Iris Alfaro. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have worked in the dental industry for about 6 years. The first few years I worked as a dental assistant. Having a thirst for learning, I transferred over to train and work in the front desk area. A number of years have gone by and I thoroughly enjoy what I am doing. I love to help patients with their questions and make them feel as comfortable as possible. When I have free time I love to catch up on my sleep, go see my favorite artists at concerts and enjoy eating great food!
My name is Gaby Sanchez. I was born in Mexico but grew up in Houston, Texas. I have been in the dental field for 11 years. It is truly a joy and privilege to be able to help care for our patients and make sure they have all their needs and goals met. I have been happily married for three years. We have 3 wonderful kids ages 11, 7 and 2 years old. We enjoy watching movies, road trips, going camping and raising our chickens.
