Dr. Susan Ellison graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. She was nominated and accepted into the Mu Mu Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society for her character and achievements in academics in dental school. She has been practicing in Houston for over 30 years and Dr. Ellison has been serving the community and families with exceptional dental care and customer service ever since.
She attended the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Key Biscayne, Florida and completed extensive advanced training at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where she was trained in the most advanced techniques for Cosmetic Veneers, Occlusion, and Full Mouth Reconstruction.
Dr. Ellison has one lovely daughter in college and loves visiting and going to their football games. College sports are so much fun for her. She also loves being outdoors running, exercising, skiing and going to the beach or the mountains and has even run several Houston marathons over the years. She loves her work and her family and friends and is committed to overall health and wellbeing, always striving for herself and others to be the best they can be.
Gloria obtained her Bachelor of Dental of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2017 at The University of Texas, School of Dentistry at Houston. She has been with Susan Ellison Dentistry and Cosmetics since 2018 as our Dental Hygienist.
Gloria is an extremely talented patient educator and very passionate about helping people understand the importance of oral health. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is the service to the community, helping each and every patient maintain a healthy and balanced oral hygiene routine.
Gloria is married and has three children; a pair of twin daughters age 16, and a 4-year-old boy. She enjoys sharing all her free time with her family, cheering on her daughters at sport events and playing hide and seek with her son.
Merdan started his career in the dental field in 2008. His passion and enthusiasm for providing excellent dental care are so strong, its infectious! His expertise comes from his formal training and years of being a dentist in Turkmenistan and Russia. Now, living here in the US, Merdan is passionate about being a dental assistant and continuing his training to become a licensed Dentist in the state of Texas.
My name is Iris Alfaro. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have worked in the dental industry for about 6 years. The first few years I worked as a dental assistant. Having a thirst for learning, I transferred over to train and work in the front desk area. A number of years have gone by and I thoroughly enjoy what I am doing. I love to help patients with their questions and make them feel as comfortable as possible. When I have free time I love to catch up on my sleep, go see my favorite artists at concerts and enjoy eating great food!
My name is Gaby Sanchez. I was born in Mexico but grew up in Houston, Texas. I have been in the dental field for 11 years. It is truly a joy and privilege to be able to help care for our patients and make sure they have all their needs and goals met. I have been happily married for three years. We have 3 wonderful kids ages 11, 7 and 2 years old. We enjoy watching movies, road trips, going camping and raising our chickens.

I came in for a broken front tooth. I knew I needed some old fillings replaced and had some cracked teeth that need tube addressed. After consultation, I embarked on getting a whole new smile - that day! Dr. Ellison is amazing- she's caring, kind, and professional. She and her assistants are cordial, efficient, thorough, considerate, and fun. I no longer have to see a periodontist and I'm leaving my current dentist to let Dr. Ellison and her staff take care of all my dental needs! Plus her office is so close to my house! Pam Graham

Well it took me a while to decide to write my opinion: it's started with 99$ cleaning and X-rays I used to wear braces but I got spaces again so I asked the doctor about Invisalign she said it's a good idea so I got it . That was around 3400$so after I finished the .than she asked how do feel about veneer it would look great on you that I will have a great smile not that I didn't have one and I loved my old teeth but the doctor and her helper talked about this new lab so much and they do great work and they kept on going on and on so I decided to do it and oh my god if this lab as good as it gets I don't know about the one before I hate my veneers it's the worst fifteen thousand dollars I spend in my life they look so bad and I think they know that because no one asked about if I like it or not I spend over 24 thousand dollar and all went down the toilet

Everyone is just so friendly. Dr Susan explained things to me with patience and always asked me if I'm ok and if I have any other questions. She is my go to dentist from now on. And her office is neat and nice. Thank you Dr Susan and your friendly staff.

My visit to Dr. Ellison's office was after several years of avoiding the dentist due to my extreme anxiety of dentist. Needless to say I needed what was called a "deep cleaning". My anxiety skyrocketed; however on the day of the cleaning I found myself surrounded by a team of people whose primary purpose was not only to take care of my teeth but to help calm my fears. Dr. Ellison, Gloria, Erika, Gaby, Iris and let's not forget Merdan, who even shared family photo's in order to help calm my nerves; to all of you I want to share my deepest gratitude. You are an exceptional team, and Gloria you rock girl, my teeth look and feel amazing!!!

The people were wonderful. They are thorough and take lots of different types of xrays and pictures. The xrays and photos take quite a while so they need something like Carmex to moisturize the lips. I got a printout of pricing for all of the procedures that I need done, which was great, and I have a plan of what needs to be done first, second, etc. That's all very helpful. I recommend them.

Over the last two years, I have had several teeth break apart and was many years overdue for a cleaning. I found Susan Ellison Dentistry and Cosmetics listed on my insurance website and, after reading a number of very positive reviews, decided to call. I'm so grateful that I did! The office was so welcoming. Each member that I met was kind, thoughtful, and professional, thorough, and extremely skilled. My consultation with Dr Ellison was very informative and all my treatment options were laid out in approachable detail. On my second visit, the hygienist began a deep cleaning process that took years off my teeth. She was wonderful and did a great job. And despite having very sensitive teeth, Dr Ellison and Merdan carefully removed two teeth with only local anesthetic. I was truly amazed and so thankful. There was no swelling and only a little soreness the first day. Dr Ellison and her office followed up with me several times following the appointment to be sure everything was healing all right, which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend this office.

Don't go here . Be aware of those special offers you see on their website. Special offer for new patients 99 $. Clean, Exam, X ray and also includes free teeth whitening. Wow. Its good, but when you go to office, nothing will done, they try to come up with extra treatment with extra cost and tell you they cant do even a simple cleaning, so forget about teeth whitening. nothing will be done and you will end up paying 99 $ for nothing. WASTE OF TIME AND WASTE OF MONEY.
