I earned my Bachelor of Arts in 1984 at Purdue University. I had decided on dentistry as my profession when I was in high school and I graduated fromIndiana University School of Dentistry, where I earnedmy Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Additionally, in my dedication to professional excellence through the pursuit of continuing education, I have earned Mastership in the Academy of General Dentisty (MAGD) -- among fewer than 1% of all dentists -- and in 2019 was awarded the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award for my commitment to lifelong learning, volunteering my services to those in need, mentoring associates &new dentists and participating in organized dentistry.
It is a BLASTfor me to continually learn and GROW!I work everyday with my carefully cultivated groupof experts --MY TEAM -- who are also passionate about learning. The human body is always changing --its fascinating! I love to learn about health and the whole body:how we can make ourselves healthier. Sometimes it takes a lot of work and change to make ourselves healthier, but that hard work is always worth it!
Total Wellness Dentistry is a hometown practice. Our roots are in the community. As an office, wegive to Food Finders, our local food bank, every month... we give to Purdue and Indiana Universities; we donatedental work through Dental Lifeline Network, Riggs Community Health Center Dental Clinic and IN Health Centers and for a variety of chuches and other non-profit groups.
I try to live my life by the golden rule.I volunteer every week at the Indiana Veterans Home. I have also traveled to Romania, Haiti, and China several times as a volunteer dentist, providing dental care to those in need.
Outside the office, I could be at the gym or walking outside, gardening, reading, quilting, or traveling with my husband Jim. We have chickens who make green, blue, and brown eggs. The chickens are more Jims, but I like to think I have a way with them!I also enjoy creating art through painting, sculpting, andpottery.

Jessica graduated from the Ivy Tech Dental Assisting program in 2003. Her years of experience as a dental assistant have made her transition to the front office a natural fit. Shes capable, resourceful, keeps us organized, always has time to answer questions, and likes to catchup with our patient family.
Beyond work, Jessica loves time with her kids and granddaughter, especially when theyre hiking, four-wheeling, and enjoying the outdoors. Shes an avid Cubs fan who likes watching football and college basketball, too.
Tina attended IU School of Dentistry and brought 20 years of experience with her when she joined our office in 2017. She provides all aspects of hygiene care and education regarding how patients can stay healthy all with a personalized approach to meet each patients individual needs.
Outside of work, Tina spends time with her husband Rob, sons Gibson and Grayson, and dogs Riley and Hunter. Tina is a big sports fan: She enjoys a variety of different sports and teams, and going to car shows with her 1967 Firebird.
Addison earned her Associates in Dental Hygiene, giving her the knowledge and experience to provide teeth cleanings, non-surgical periodontal therapy, and patient education on maintaining a healthy mouth. As a new member of Total Wellness Dentistry, Addison is excited to grow professionally in her career as a hygienist and personally as a member of our team.
I like educating and helping patients as they improve their dental health and overall wellness. Dr. Snyders passion for patient care sets the tone for our office: She truly wants the best for our patient family and for her team, and we all feel the same!
Nikki has an Associate of Applied Science in dental assisting and has been with our office since 2014. She setsup the operatory, seats our patients, and readies them for Dr. Snyder. During the procedure, she assists the doctor while making sure thepatient is comfortable, and provides home care instruction when finished.
It is rewarding to support our patients as they develop healthier smiles. I love being part of a team that feels like a dental family. Dr. Snyder and my coworkers are all gentle, kind, and do their best to help each patient achieve their dental goals!
Baylie graduated from Ivy Tech in 2015 from the Dental Assisting Program. Her warm and gentle manner makes every patient feel at ease during visits. She assists Dr. Snyder with a range of dental procedures, designs crowns, places restorations, and manages our inventory.
